Quran 19:85~87

Watch for˺ the Day We will gather the righteous before the Most Compassionate as an honoured delegation, and drive the wicked to Hell like a thirsty herd. None will have the right to intercede, except those who have taken a covenant from the Most Compassionate. Quran 19:85~87 Surah Maryam (Mary)
The Surah is named after Maryam, the mother of Isa [Jesus].
Allah’s Messenger said, “Many amongst men attained perfection but amongst women none attained the perfection except Mary, the daughter of Imran and Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh.
And the superiority of Aisha to other women is like the superiority of Tharid (i.e. an Arabic dish) to other meals.” [Bukhari 3769]
There are 98 Ayat in this Surah.

يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدً وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدً لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدً
The subject matter of this Surah is the true message and teachings of the Prophets of Allah.
Several Prophets are mentioned here: Zakariyya, Yahya, Isa and his mother Maryam, Ibrahim, Musa, Ismail and Idris -may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of them.
Allah blessed these Prophets.
They taught Tawhid and called their people to the worship of Allah alone.
Great miracles and signs were also shown in the lives of these Prophets and Messengers.
جس روز ہم پرہیزگاروں کو خدا کے سامنے (بطور) مہمان جمع کریں گے اور گنہگاروں کو دوزخ کی طرف پیاسے ہانک لے جائیں گے (تو لوگ) کسی کی سفارش کا اختیار نہ رکھیں گے مگر جس نے خدا سے اقرار لیا ہو

Quran 83:1~9

Woe to the defrauders ! Those who take full measure ˹when they buy˺ from people, but give less when they measure or weigh for buyers. Do such people not think that they will be resurrected for a tremendous Day— the Day ˹all˺ people will stand before the Lord of all worlds ? But no ! The wicked are certainly bound for Sijjîn ˹in the depths of Hell˺— and what will make you realize what Sijjîn is?— a fate ˹already˺ sealed. Quran 83:1~9 Surah al-Mutaffifin (The Defrauders)
The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat,
وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ
“Woe to those who give less [than due],” [83:1].
The word mutafif (who gives less) is unique to this Surah and not mentioned elsewhere in the Qur’an.
There are 36 Ayat in this Surah.

وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ كِتَـٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ
The Surah warns those who commit fraud in business.
It reminds about honest dealings. The righteous will prosper.
Allah has the record of every person.
شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ناپ اور تول میں کمی کرنے والوں کے لیے خرابی ہے جو لوگوں سے ناپ کر لیں تو پورا لیں اور جب ان کو ناپ کر یا تول کر دیں تو کم کر دیں کیا یہ لوگ نہیں جانتے کہ اٹھائے بھی جائیں گے (یعنی) ایک بڑے (سخت) دن میں جس دن (تمام) لوگ رب العالمین کے سامنے کھڑے ہوں گے سن رکھو کہ بدکارروں کے اعمال سجّین میں ہیں اور تم کیا جانتے ہوں کہ سجّین کیا چیز ہے؟ ایک دفتر ہے لکھا ہوا
The theme of this Surah too is the Hereafter.
In the first six verses the people have been taken to task for the prevalent evil practice in their commercial dealings. When they had to receive their due from others, they demanded that it be given in full, but when they had to measure or weigh for others, they would give less than what was due.
Taking this one evil as an example out of countless evils prevalent in society, it has been said that it is an inevitable result of the heedlessness of the Hereafter.
Unless the people realised that one day they would have to appear before God and account for each single act they performed in the world, it was not possible that they would adopt piety and righteousness in their daily affairs.
Even if a person might practice honesty in some of his less important dealings in view of “honesty is the best policy,” he would never practice honesty on occasions when dishonesty would seem to be “the best policy.” Man can develop true and enduring honesty only when he fears God and sincerely believes in the Hereafter, for then he would regard honesty not merely as “a policy” but as “a duty” and obligation, and his being constant in it, or otherwise, would not be dependent on its being useful or useless in the world.
Thus, after making explicit the relation between morality and the doctrine of the Hereafter in an effective and impressive way, in v. 7-17, it has been said: The deeds of the wicked are already being recorded in the black list of the culprits, and in the Hereafter they will meet with utter ruin. Then in v. 18-28, the best end of the virtuous has been described and it has been laid that their deeds are being recorded in the list of the exalted people, on which are appointed the angels nearest to God. In conclusion, the believers have been consoled and the disbelievers warned, as if to say: “The people who are disgracing and humiliating the believers today, are culprits who, on the Resurrection Day, will meet with a most evil end in consequence of their conduct and these very believers will feel comforted when they see their fate.”

Quran 16:26~29

Indeed, those before them had plotted, but Allah struck at the ˹very˺ foundation of their structure, so the roof collapsed on top of them, and the torment came upon them from where they did not expect. Then on the Day of Judgment He will humiliate them and say, “Where are My ˹so-called˺ associate-gods for whose sake you used to oppose ˹the believers˺?” Those gifted with knowledge will say, “Surely disgrace and misery today are upon the disbelievers.” contd…
The Bee (Arabic: الْنَّحْل; an-naḥl) is the 16th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an
Those whose souls the angels seize while they wrong themselves will then offer ˹full˺ submission ˹and say falsely,˺ “We did not do any evil.” ˹The angels will say,˺ “No! Surely Allah fully knows what you used to do. So enter the gates of Hell, to stay there forever. Indeed, what an evil home for the arrogant!” Quran 16:26~29 Surah an-Nahl (The Bee)
It has 128 verses (āyāt).

قَدۡ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنۡیَـٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلسَّقۡفُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُونَ ثُمَّ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ یُخۡزِیهِمۡ وَیَقُولُ أَیۡنَ شُرَكَاۤءِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ كُنتُمۡ تُشَـٰۤقُّونَ فِیهِمۡۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ إِنَّ ٱلۡخِزۡیَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ وَٱلسُّوۤءَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ ٱلَّذِینَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ ظَالِمِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ فَأَلۡقَوُا۟ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِن سُوۤءِۭۚ بَلَىٰۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمُۢ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ فَٱدۡخُلُوۤا۟ أَبۡوَ ٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۖ فَلَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِینَ
The Surah speaks about Allah’s creative power.
Everything in the universe points to Allah.
There is coherence and balance in Allah’s creation.
ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی (ایسی ہی) مکاریاں کی تھیں تو خدا (کا حکم) ان کی عمارت کے ستونوں پر آپہنچا اور چھت ان پر ان کے اوپر سے گر پڑی اور (ایسی طرف سے) ان پر عذاب آ واقع ہوا جہاں سے ان کو خیال بھی نہ تھا پھر وہ ان کو قیامت کے دن بھی ذلیل کرے گا اور کہے گا کہ میرے وہ شریک کہاں ہیں جن کے بارے میں تم جھگڑا کرتے تھے۔ جن لوگوں کو علم دیا گیا تھا وہ کہیں گے کہ آج کافروں کی رسوائی اور برائی ہے
It is named after honey bees mentioned in verse 68, and contains a comparison of the industry and adaptability of honey bees with the industry of man.
(ان کا حال یہ ہے کہ) جب فرشتے ان کی روحیں قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں (اور یہ) اپنے ہی حق میں ظلم کرنے والے (ہوتے ہیں) تو مطیع ومنقاد ہوجاتے ہیں (اور کہتے ہیں) کہ ہم کوئی برا کام نہیں کرتے تھے۔ ہاں جو کچھ تم کیا کرتے تھے خدا اسے خوب جانتا ہے سو دوزخ کے دروازوں میں داخل ہوجاؤ۔ ہمیشہ اس میں رہو گے۔ اب تکبر کرنے والوں کا برا ٹھکانا ہے
And your Lord taught the honey bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men’s) habitations; Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.

Quran 82:13~19

Indeed, the virtuous will be in bliss, and the wicked will be in Hell, burning in it on Judgment Day, and they will have no escape from it. What will make you realize what Judgment Day is? Again, what will make you realize what Judgment Day is? ˹It is˺ the Day no soul will be of ˹any˺ benefit to another whatsoever, for all authority on that Day belongs to Allah ˹entirely˺. Quran 82:13~19 Surah al-Infitar (Bursting Apart)
The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ “When the sky breaks apart” [81:1]

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍ يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ
The Surah reminds the human being that Allah has given them a wonderful proportionate shape, but they and the whole universe are totally dependent upon Allah. The creation has a purpose and the Day of Judgment will come.
بےشک نیک لوگ نعمت میں ہوں گے اور بے شک نافرمان دوزخ میں ہوں گے انصاف کے دن اس میں داخل ہوں گے اور وہ اس سے کہیں جانے نہ پائیں گے اورتجھے کیا معلوم انصاف کا دن کیا ہے پھر تجھے کیا خبر کہ انصاف کا دن کیا ہے جس دن کوئی کسی کے لیے کچھ بھی نہ کر سکے گا اور اس دن الله ہی کا حکم ہوگا
the central theme of this chapter is the Day of Judgments including the events preceding it and those that will happen within it like the end of the world, fates of the good and evil doers, the recording of deeds as well topics like man’s arrogance and in contrast, God’s Lordship and beneficence.

Quran 3:196~198

Do not be deceived by the prosperity of the disbelievers throughout the land. It is only a brief enjoyment. Then Hell will be their home— what an evil place to rest! But those who are mindful of their Lord will be in Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever—as an accommodation from Allah. And what is with Allah is best for the virtuous. Quran 3:196~198 Surah al-Imran (The Family of Imran)
Al Imran (Arabic: آل عمران, āl ʿimrān; meaning: The Family of Imran) is the third chapter (sūrah) of the Quran with two hundred verses (āyāt).

لَا یَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ مَتَـٰعࣱ قَلِیلࣱ ثُمَّ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ لَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّقَوۡا۟ رَبَّهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣱ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَا نُزُلࣰا مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلۡأَبۡرَارِ
It is named after Ale-Imran ‘the family of Imran’ – Imran being the grandfather of Jesus [Isa], and the father of Mary [Maryam]. Other than this Surah, Imran is not mentioned in the rest of the Qur’an with the exception of Surah 66: at-Tahreem – ‘Maryam daughter of Imran’ [66:12].
Zahra – The Prophet is reported to have called al-Baqarah and Ale-Imran as ‘Zahrawayn’ [Two Lights (of guidance)]
Quran 3:190~194
(اے پیغمبر) کافروں کا شہروں میں چلنا پھرنا تمہیں دھوکا نہ دے (یہ دنیا کا) تھوڑا سا فائدہ ہے پھر (آخرت میں) تو ان کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے اور وہ بری جگہ ہے لیکن جو لوگ اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرتے رہے ان کے لیے باغ ہے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں (اور) ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے (یہ) خدا کے ہاں سے (ان کی) مہمانی ہے اور جو کچھ خدا کے ہاں ہے وہ نیکو کاروں کے لیے بہت اچھا ہے
The main topics of this Surah are Tawhid, Prophethood and the truth of the Qur’ an. As Surah al-Baqarah discussed the issues related to Bani Israel, this Surah discusses some issues related to the Christian community and their religious positions. It also discusses the subjects of Hajj, Jihad, Zakat and Riba. It ends, like Surah al-Baqarah, with a profound dua.

Quran 92:12~21

It is certainly upon Us ˹alone˺ to show ˹the way to˺ guidance. And surely to Us ˹alone˺ belong this life and the next. And so I have warned you of a raging Fire, in which none will burn except the most wretched— who deny and turn away. But the righteous will be spared from it— who donate ˹some of˺ their wealth only to purify themselves, not in return for someone’s favours, but seeking the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High. They will certainly be pleased. Quran 92:12~21 [ Surah al-Layl , The Night ]
The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat,
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ “By the night when it covers” [92:1].
There are 21 Ayat in this Surah.

إِنَّ عَلَیۡنَا لَلۡهُدَىٰ وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلۡءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ نَارࣰا تَلَظَّىٰ لَا یَصۡلَىٰهَاۤ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى ٱلَّذِی كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ وَسَیُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى ٱلَّذِی یُؤۡتِی مَالَهُۥ یَتَزَكَّىٰ وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةࣲ تُجۡزَىٰۤ إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَاۤءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَلَسَوۡفَ یَرۡضَىٰ
It has basically the same theme as the previous Surah,
but it tells us about the two ways of life:
good way and evil way and the consequences of both ways.
بے شک راستہ بتانا ہمارے ذمہ ہے اور درحقیقت آخرت اور دنیا، دونوں کے ہم ہی مالک ہیں پس میں نے تم کو خبردار کر دیا ہے بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ سے اُس میں نہیں جھلسے گا مگر وہ انتہائی بد بخت جس نے جھٹلایا اور منہ پھیرا اور اُس سے دور رکھا جائیگا وہ نہایت پرہیزگار جو پاکیزہ ہونے کی خاطر اپنا مال دیتا ہے اُس پر کسی کا کوئی احسان نہیں ہے جس کا بدلہ اُسے دینا ہو وہ تو صرف اپنے رب برتر کی رضا جوئی کے لیے یہ کام کرتا ہے اور ضرور وہ (اُس سے) خوش ہوگا
Its theme is to distinguish between the two different ways of life and to explain the contrast between their ultimate ends and results. In view of the subject matter this Surah consists of two parts, the first part consisting of v. 1-11 and the second of v. 12-21.

Quran 92:5~11

As for the one who is charitable, mindful ˹of Allah˺, and ˹firmly˺ believes in the finest reward, We will facilitate for them the Way of Ease. And as for the one who is stingy, indifferent ˹to Allah˺, and ˹staunchly˺ denies the finest reward, We will facilitate for them the path of hardship. And their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they tumble ˹into Hell˺. Quran 92:5~11 [ Surah al-Layl , The Night ]
The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat,
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ “By the night when it covers” [92:1].
