Quran 3:26

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ 
“O Allah ! 
Lord over all authorities ! 
You give authority to whoever You please and remove it from who You please; 
You honour whoever You please and disgrace who You please—
all good is in Your Hands. 
Surely You ˹alone˺ are Most Capable of everything.

قُلِ

کہو !
خدایا ! 
مُلک کے مالک ! 
تو جسے چاہے، حکومت دے اور جسے چاہے، چھین لے جسے چاہے، عزت بخشے
اور جس کو چاہے، ذلیل کر دے بھلائی تیرے اختیار میں ہے بیشک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

Indeed, those who deny Allah’s signs, kill the prophets unjustly, and kill people who stand up for justice—give them good news of a painful punishment.They are the ones whose deeds are wasted in this world and the Hereafter. And they will have no helpers.Quran 3:21~22

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَكۡفُرُونَ

ان کو دکھ دینے والے عذاب کی خوشخبری سنا دو 

یہ ایسے لوگ ہیں جن کے اعمال دنیا اور آخرت دونوں میں برباد ہیں اور ان کا کوئی مددگار نہیں (ہوگا)

Quran 3:19

The true religion with Allah is Islam. The People of the Book adopted many different ways rather than follow the true way of Islam even after the knowledge of truth had reached them, and this merely to commit excesses against one another. Let him who refuses to follow the ordinances and directives of Allah know that Allah is swift in His reckoningQuran 3:19

اللہ کے نزدیک دین صرف
 اسلام ہے 
اس دین سے ہٹ کر جو مختلف طریقے اُن لوگوں نے اختیار کیے، جنہیں کتاب دی گئی تھی، اُن کے اِس طرز عمل کی کوئی وجہ اس کے سوا نہ تھی کہ انہوں نے علم آ جانے کے بعد آپس میں ایک دوسرے پر زیادتی کرنے کے لیے ایسا کیا 

اور جو کوئی اللہ کے احکام و ہدایات کی اطاعت سے انکار کر دے، اللہ کو اس سے حساب لیتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگتی ہے

Allah ˹Himself˺ is a Witness that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—and so are the angels & people of knowledge. He is the Maintainer of justice. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise. Quran 3:18

Quran 3:16~17

And Allah is All-Seeing of ˹His˺ servants, who pray, “Our Lord! We have believed, so forgive our sins and protect us from the torment of the Fire.”˹It is they˺ who are patient, sincere, obedient, and charitable, and who pray for forgiveness before dawn.Quran 3:16~17

اور عبادت میں لگے رہتے

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Shall I inform you of what is better than ˹all of˺ this? Those mindful ˹of Allah˺ will have Gardens with their Lord under which rivers flow, to stay there forever, and pure spouses, along with Allah’s pleasure.” And Allah is All-Seeing of ˹His˺ servants, who pray, “Our Lord! تم فرماؤ
 کیا میں تمہیں اس سے بہتر چیز بتادوں
 پرہیزگاروں کے لئے ان کے رب کے پاس جنتیں ہیں
 جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں ہمیشہ ان میں رہیں گے 
اور پاکيزہ بيوياں 
اور اللہ کی خوشنودی 
اور اللہ بندوں کو دیکھتا ہے 
وہ جو کہتے ہیں
 اے رب ہمارے!
 ہم ایمان لائے
 تو ہمارے گناہ معاف کر 
اور ہمیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچالے،

The enjoyment of ˹worldly˺ desires—women, children, treasures of gold and silver, fine horses, cattle, and fertile land—has been made appealing to people.These are the pleasures of this worldly life, but with Allah is the finest destination.Quran 3:14

Quran 3:13

Indeed, there was a sign for you in the two armies that met in battle—one fighting for the cause of Allah and the other in denial. The believers saw their enemy twice their number. But Allah supports with His victory whoever He wills. Surely in this is a lesson for people of insight. Quran 3:13

 قَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ ءَایَةࣱ فِی فِئَتَیۡنِ ٱلۡتَقَتَاۖ

تمہارے لیے دو گروہوں میں جو (جنگ بدر کے دن) آپس میں بھڑ گئے (قدرت خدا کی عظیم الشان) نشانی تھی 
ایک گروہ (مسلمانوں کا تھا وہ) خدا کی راہ میں لڑ رہا تھا اور دوسرا گروہ (کافروں کا تھا وہ) ان کو اپنی آنکھوں سے اپنے سے دگنا مشاہدہ کر رہا تھا 
اور خدا اپنی نصرت سے جس کو چاہتا ہے مدد دیتا ہے 
جو اہل بصارت ہیں ان کے لیے اس (واقعے) میں بڑی عبرت ہے

˹They say,˺ “Our Lord ! Do not let our hearts deviate after you have guided us. Grant us Your mercy. You are indeed the Giver ˹of all bounties˺.Quran 3:8

تو نے ہمیں ہدایت عطا فرمائی ہے،

اس کے بعد
 ہمارے دلوں کو ٹیڑھا نہ کر
 
اور ہمیں اپنے پاس سے
 رحمت عطا فرما، 

بیشک تو بڑاعطا فرمانے والاہے۔

Quran 3:7

He is the One Who has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book, of which some verses are precise—they are the foundation of the Book—while others are elusive. Those with deviant hearts follow the elusive verses seeking ˹to spread˺ doubt through their ˹false˺ interpretations—but none grasps their ˹full˺ meaning except Allah. As for those well-grounded in knowledge, they say, “We believe in this ˹Quran˺—it is all from our Lord.” But none will be mindful ˹of this˺ except people of reason.  Quran 3:7

وَمَا یَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّاۤ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ

وہی ہے جس نے تجھ پر کتاب اتاری اس میں بعض آیتیں محکم ہیں 
(جن کے معنیٰ واضح ہیں) 

وہ کتاب کی اصل ہیں 

اور دوسری مشابہ ہیں 
(جن کے معنیٰ معلوم یا معین نہیں) 

سو جن لوگو ں کے دل ٹیڑھے ہیں 
وہ گمراہی پھیلانے کی غرض سے اور مطلب معلوم کرنے کی غرض سے متشابہات کے پیچھے لگتے ہیں 

اور حالانکہ ان کا مطلب سوائے الله کے اور کوئی نہیں جانتا 

اور مضبوط علم والے کہتے ہیں ہمارا ان چیزوں پر ایمان ہے یہ سب ہمارے رب کی طرف سے ہیں 
اور نصیحت وہی لوگ مانتے ہیں 
جو عقلمند ہیں

It also discusses the subjects of Hajj, Jihad, Zakat and Riba. It ends, like Surah al-Baqarah, with a profound dua.
