Quran 3:65~68 (Ayah al-Imran)

O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand? Here you are! You disputed about what you have ˹little˺ knowledge of, but why do you now argue about what you have no knowledge of? Allah knows and you do not know. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian; he submitted in all uprightness and was not a polytheist. Indeed, those who have the best claim to Abraham are his followers, this Prophet, and the believers. And Allah is the Guardian of those who believe.` Quran 3:65_68 Surah al-Imran (The Family of Imran)
Surah al-Mu’minum [The Believers] takes its name after the first Ayat, قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ “Certainly will the Believers have succeeded.” [23:1].
This Surah has 118 Ayat.

In this Surah people are invited to accept and follow the Prophet. This is the central theme of the Surah. It speaks about the character of true believers and assures that they will be the real successful people. It draws attention to various stages of human creation, to many other universal signs. Then it takes some of the stories of other prophets and tells us that they also preached the same message.
اے اہل کتاب! تم ابراہیمؑ کے بارے میں ہم سے کیوں جھگڑا کرتے ہو؟ تورات اور انجیل تو ابراہیمؑ کے بعد ہی نازل ہوئی ہیں پھر کیا تم اتنی بات بھی نہیں سمجھتے تم لوگ جن چیزوں کا علم رکھتے ہو اُن میں تو خوب بحثیں کر چکے، اب ان معاملات میں کیوں بحث کرنے چلے ہو جن کا تمہارے پاس کچھ بھی علم نہیں اللہ جانتا ہے، تم نہیں جانتے ابراہیمؑ نہ یہودی تھا نہ عیسائی، بلکہ وہ ایک مسلم یکسو تھا اور وہ ہرگز مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھا ابراہیمؑ سے نسبت رکھنے کا سب سے زیادہ حق اگر کسی کو پہنچتا ہے تو اُن لوگوں کو پہنچتا ہے جنہوں نے اس کی پیروی کی اور اب یہ نبی اور اس کے ماننے والے اِس نسبت کے زیادہ حق دار ہیں اللہ صرف اُنہی کا حامی و مددگار ہے جو ایمان رکھتے ہوں

Everything in the heaven and earth belongs to Allah.
Prophet’s job is to continue presenting the message of Allah.

Quran 3:96~97 (Ayah al-Imran)

Surely the first House ˹of worship˺ established for humanity is the one at Bakkah— a blessed sanctuary and a guide for ˹all˺ people. In it are clear signs and the standing-place of Abraham. Whoever enters it should be safe. Pilgrimage to this House is an obligation by Allah upon whoever is able among the people. And whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is not in need of ˹any of His˺ creation. Quran 3:96~97 Surah al-Imran (The Family of Imran)

بے شک سب سے پہلی عبادت گاہ جو انسانوں کے لیے تعمیر ہوئی وہ وہی ہے جو مکہ میں واقع ہے اس کو خیر و برکت دی گئی تھی اور تمام جہان والوں کے لیے مرکز ہدایت بنایا گیا تھا اس میں کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں ہیں، ابراہیمؑ کا مقام عبادت ہے، اوراس کا حال یہ ہے کہ جو اِس میں داخل ہوا مامون ہو گیا لوگوں پر اللہ کا یہ حق ہے کہ جو اس گھر تک پہنچنے کی استطاعت رکھتا ہو وہ اس کا حج کرے، اور جو کوئی اس حکم کی پیروی سے انکار کرے تو اسے معلوم ہو جانا چاہیے کہ اللہ تمام د نیا والوں سے بے نیاز ہے

Quran 53:33~42 (Ayah an-Najm)

Have you seen the one who turned away ˹from Islam,˺and ˹initially˺ paid a little ˹for his salvation˺, and then stopped? Does he have the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees ˹the Hereafter˺? Or has he not been informed of what is in the Scripture of Moses, and ˹that of˺ Abraham, who ˹perfectly˺ fulfilled ˹his covenant˺? ˹They state˺ that no soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another, and that each person will only have what they endeavoured towards, and that ˹the outcome of˺ their endeavours will be seen ˹in their record˺, then they will be fully rewarded, and that to your Lord ˹alone˺ is the ultimate return ˹of all things˺. Quran 53:33~42 Surah an-Najm (The Star)
This Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ “By the star when it descends,” (53:1).

أَفَرَءَیۡتَ ٱلَّذِی تَوَلَّىٰ وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِیلࣰا وَأَكۡدَىٰۤ أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ فَهُوَ یَرَىٰۤ أَمۡ لَمۡ یُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِی صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ ٱلَّذِی وَفَّىٰۤ أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ وَأَن لَّیۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ وَأَنَّ سَعۡیَهُۥ سَوۡفَ یُرَىٰ ثُمَّ یُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَاۤءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ
The Surah talks about the eminence of the Prophet (saw) with his Mi’raj and closeness to Allah. It warns the disbelievers about the errors of their attitude towards the Qur’an and the Prophet of Allah. Some of their wrong beliefs in the angels as daughters of God, intercession of the angels etc. are also mentioned.
بھلا تم نے اس شخص کو دیکھا جس نے منہ پھیر لیا اور تھوڑا سا دیا (پھر) ہاتھ روک لیا کیا اس کے پاس غیب کا علم ہے کہ وہ اس کو دیکھ رہا ہے کیا جو باتیں موسیٰ کے صحیفوں میں ہیں ان کی اس کو خبر نہیں پہنچی اور ابراہیمؑ کی جنہوں نے (حق طاعت ورسالت) پورا کیا یہ کہ کوئی شخص دوسرے (کے گناہ) کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا اور یہ کہ انسان کو وہی ملتا ہے جس کی وہ کوشش کرتا ہے اور یہ کہ اس کی کوشش دیکھی جائے گی پھر اس کو اس کا پورا پورا بدلا دیا جائے گا اور یہ کہ تمہارے پروردگار ہی کے پاس پہنچنا ہے
Sections:
The Mi’raj experience of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). Gods or goddesses of the non-believers are mere conjectures and names without any reality.
The angels are the servants of Allah. No intercession can work against Allah. Allah is most forgiving, but He requires righteousness.
Those who deny the truth they are standing against the power and majesty of Allah.

Quran 9:113-115

It is not ˹proper˺ for the Prophet and the believers to seek forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were close relatives, after it has become clear to the believers that they are bound for the Hellfire. As for Abraham’s prayer for his father’s forgiveness, it was only in fulfilment of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to Abraham that his father was an enemy of Allah, he broke ties with him. Abraham was truly tender-hearted, forbearing. Allah would never consider a people deviant after He has guided them, until He makes clear to them what they must avoid. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything. Quran: 9:113~115 Surah at-Taubah (Repentance)
The name of the surah, at-Taubah is derived from ت و ب and it occurs 87 times in the Quran. Interestingly, this surah has the highest usage of the words derived from ت و ب compared to all other surahs – it is used 17 times.
In Ayat 118, occurs the case of the three companions whom Allah turned to and accepted their tawbah to Him – those who had abstained from joining the Jihad at the Battle of Tabuk.

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِیِّ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَن یَسۡتَغۡفِرُوا۟ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ وَلَوۡ كَانُوۤا۟ أُو۟لِی قُرۡبَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ لِأَبِیهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةࣲ وَعَدَهَاۤ إِیَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُۥۤ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوࣱّ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ لَأَوَّ ٰهٌ حَلِیمࣱ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِیُضِلَّ قَوۡمَۢا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَىٰهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ یُبَیِّنَ لَهُم مَّا یَتَّقُونَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمٌ
This is the only Sūrah of the Qur’ān to which ‘In the Name of God, Most Gracious Most Merciful’ is not prefixed. Though the commentators have given different reasons for this, the correct one that which has been given by Imām Razi: namely this is because the Prophet himself did not dictate it at the beginning of the Sūrah. Therefore the Companions did not prefix it and their successors followed them. This is a further proof of the fact that utmost care has been taken to keep the Qur’ān intact so that it should remain in its complete and original form.
پیغمبر اور مسلمانوں کو شایاں نہیں کہ جب ان پر ظاہر ہوگیا کہ مشرک اہل دوزخ ہیں۔ تو ان کے لیے بخشش مانگیں گو وہ ان کے قرابت دار ہی ہوں اور ابراہیم کا اپنے باپ کے لیے بخشش مانگنا تو ایک وعدے کا سبب تھا جو وہ اس سے کر چکے تھے۔ لیکن جب ان کو معلوم ہوگیا کہ وہ خدا کا دشمن ہے تو اس سے بیزار ہوگئے۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ ابراہیم بڑے نرم دل اور متحمل تھے اور خدا ایسا نہیں کہ کسی قوم کو ہدایت دینے کے بعد گمراہ کر دے جب تک کہ ان کو وہ چیز نہ بتا دے جس سے وہ پرہیز کریں۔ بےشک خدا ہر چیز سے واقف ہے
The basic subjects of the Surah are: The non-believers who broke their treaties, Muslims have no obligation to honor treaties with them. Muslims must protect themselves from hypocrisy, weak faith and negligence. Battle of Tabuk and its lessons.
Sections:
Proclamation that the Treaty of Hudaibiyah is cancelled.
Honor the treaties with those who honor them. Fight with those who have broken the treaty.
Mushrikin are forbidden to be the caretakers of the Masjid al-Haram.
Muslims should trust Allah, not just their numbers.
Jews and Christians also committed Shirk. Command to spend in the path of Allah. The correct number of months.
The Tabuk expedition.
Those who stayed behind and did not participate in the Battle of Tabuk, hypocrites and weak in faith.
The proper distribution of charity. Those who speak ill of the Prophet or make fun of Allah and His Book.
The hypocrite men and women.

Quran 22:78 (Ayah al-Hajj)

Strive for ˹the cause of˺ Allah in the way He deserves, for ˹it is˺ He ˹Who˺ has chosen you, and laid upon you no hardship in the religion—the way of your forefather Abraham. ˹It is Allah˺ Who named you ‘the ones who submit’ ˹in the˺ earlier ˹Scriptures˺ and in this ˹Quran˺, so that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and that you may be witnesses over humanity. So establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and hold fast to Allah. He ˹alone˺ is your Guardian. What an excellent Guardian, and what an excellent Helper! Quran 22:78 Surah al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage)
Named after the obligation of the pilgrimage to Makkah – The Hajj.
The word ‘Hajj’ is only mentioned once in this Surah, وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ “And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass -” [22:27]
There are 78 Ayat in this Surah.

وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ فِی ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِۦۚ هُوَ ٱجۡتَبَىٰكُمۡ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فِی ٱلدِّینِ مِنۡ حَرَجࣲۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِیكُمۡ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَۚ هُوَ سَمَّىٰكُمُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَفِی هَـٰذَا لِیَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ شَهِیدًا عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَتَكُونُوا۟ شُهَدَاۤءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِۚ فَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱعۡتَصِمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلنَّصِیرُ
The Surah reminds about the approaching end of the world, need for the firmness of faith to support the truth and to eradicate the evil.
It talks about prayers, humbleness and sacrifice, respect of the Ka’bah, the House of Allah, and striving to defend the truth.
اور خدا (کی راہ) میں جہاد کرو جیسا جہاد کرنے کا حق ہے۔ اس نے تم کو برگزیدہ کیا ہے اور تم پر دین کی (کسی بات) میں تنگی نہیں کی۔ (اور تمہارے لئے) تمہارے باپ ابراہیم کا دین (پسند کیا) اُسی نے پہلے (یعنی پہلی کتابوں میں) تمہارا نام مسلمان رکھا تھا اور اس کتاب میں بھی (وہی نام رکھا ہے تو جہاد کرو) تاکہ پیغمبر تمہارے بارے میں شاہد ہوں۔ اور تم لوگوں کے مقابلے میں شاہد اور نماز پڑھو اور زکوٰة دو اور خدا کے دین کی (رسی کو) پکڑے رہو۔ وہی تمہارا دوست ہے۔ اور خوب دوست اور خوب مددگار ہے
Sections:
The Shaking of the Last Hour. Arguments for the Resurrection from the stages of human creation and from the rain that produces vegetation.
The marginal Muslims and their end.
The true believers shall be rewarded.
Pilgrimage to the House of Allah.
Respect of the Symbols of Allah.
The permission of fighting back is granted to those to whom wrong is done.
Satan’s enticements and Allah’s especial protection of His words.
The reward of those who migrate in the cause of Allah.
Allah’s order prevails in the heaven and earth.
The Muslim community is chosen by Allah for a special purpose.
你们应当为安拉而真实地奋斗。他拣选你们，关于宗教的事，他未曾以任何烦难为你们的义务，你们应当遵循你们的祖先易卜拉欣的宗教，以前安拉称你们为穆斯林，在这部经典里他也称你们为穆斯林，以便使者为你们作证，而你们为世人作证。你们当谨守拜功，完纳天课，信托安拉；他是你们的主宰，主宰真好！助者真好！ [哈吉:78]
Усердствуйте на пути Аллаха надлежащим образом. Он избрал вас и не сделал для вас никакого затруднения в религии. Такова вера отца вашего Ибрахима (Авраама). Он (Аллах) нарек вас мусульманами до этого и здесь (в Коране), чтобы Посланник был свидетелем о вас, а вы были свидетелями о людях. Совершайте намаз, выплачивайте закят и крепко держитесь за Аллаха. Он - ваш Покровитель. Как же прекрасен этот Покровитель! Как же прекрасен этот Помощник!
Esfuércense por la causa de Dios como es debido. Él los eligió [para que sigan Su religión] y no les prescribió nada que no puedan cumplir. Ésta es la religión monoteísta de su padre Abraham, él los llamó musulmanes anteriormente y también fueron llamados así en esta revelación, para que el Mensajero fuera testigo [de sus obras] y ustedes sean testigos ante la humanidad [de la llegada de los Profetas anteriores]. Cumplan con la oración, paguen el zakat y aférrense a Dios, pues Él es su Protector. ¡Qué excelente Protector, y qué excelente Defensor!
E combatei com denodo pela causa de Deus; Ele vos elegeu. E não vos impôs dificuldade alguma na religião, porque é ocredo de vosso pai, Abraão. Ele vos denominou muçulmanos, antes deste e neste (Alcorão), para que o Mensageiro sejatestemunha vossa, e para que sejais testemunhas dos humanos. Observai, pois, a oração, pagai o zakat e apegai-vos a Deus, Que é vosso Protetor. E que excelente Protetor! E que excelente Socorredor!
Et luttez pour Allah avec tout l'effort qu'Il mérite. C'est Lui qui vous a élus; et Il ne vous a imposé aucune gêne dans la religion, celle de votre père Abraham, lequel vous a déjà nommés «Musulmans» avant (ce Livre) et dans ce (Livre), afin que le Messager soit témoin contre vous, et que vous soyez vous-mêmes témoins contre les gens. Accomplissez donc la Salât, acquittez la Zakât et attachez-vous fortement à Allah. C'est Lui votre Maître. Quel Excellent Maître! Et quel Excellent Soutien!

Quran 16:120~123

Indeed, Abraham was a model of excellence: devoted to Allah, ˹perfectly˺ upright— not a polytheist— ˹utterly˺ grateful for Allah’s favours. ˹So˺ He chose him and guided him to the Straight Path. We blessed him with all goodness in this world, and in the Hereafter he will certainly be among the righteous. Then We revealed to you ˹O Prophet, saying˺: “Follow the faith of Abraham, the upright, who was not one of the polytheists.” Quran 16:120~123 Surah an-Nahl (The Bee)
The Bee (Arabic: الْنَّحْل; an-naḥl) is the 16th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an, with 128 verses (āyāt).

The Surah speaks about Allah’s creative power.
Everything in the universe points to Allah.
There is coherence and balance in Allah’s creation.
بےشک ابراہیم (لوگوں کے) امام اور خدا کے فرمانبردار تھے۔ جو ایک طرف کے ہو رہے تھے اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے اس کی نعمتوں کے شکرگزار تھے۔ خدا نے ان کو برگزیدہ کیا تھا اور (اپنی) سیدھی راہ پر چلایا تھا اور ہم نے ان کو دنیا میں بھی خوبی دی تھی۔ اور وہ آخرت میں بھی نیک لوگوں میں ہوں گے پھر ہم نے تمہاری طرف وحی بھیجی کہ دین ابراہیم کی پیروی اختیار کرو جو ایک طرف کے ہو رہے تھے اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے
It is named after honey bees mentioned in verse 68, and contains a comparison of the industry and adaptability of honey bees with the industry of man.
And your Lord taught the honey bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men’s) habitations; Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.

Quran 4:125

And who is better in faith than those who ˹fully˺ submit themselves to Allah, do good, and follow the Way of Abraham, the upright? Allah chose Abraham as a close friend. Quran 4:125 Surah an-Nisa` (Women)
An-Nisa’ (Arabic: ٱلنساء, An-Nisāʾ; meaning: The Women) is the fourth chapter (sūrah) of the Quran, with 176 verses (āyāt).
The title derives from the numerous references to women throughout the chapter, including verse 34 and verses 127-130.

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلً
According to many scholars, the Surah was revealed after the Battle of Uhud, which left 70 of the Muslims killed.
This situation brought about the need to address issues such as inheritance left by those killed etc.
Hence in Surah an-Nisa, Allah Almighty address issues such as dealing with orphans [including children of those killed at Uhud] and inheritance.
اُس شخص سے بہتر اور کس کا طریق زندگی ہوسکتا ہے جس نے اللہ کے آگے سر تسلیم خم کر دیا اور اپنا رویہ نیک رکھا اور یکسو ہو کر ابراہیمؑ کے طریقے کی پیروی کی، اُس ابراہیمؑ کے طریقے کی جسے اللہ نے اپنا دوست بنا لیا تھا
Sections:
Responsibility to take care of the family. Special care of orphans.
Laws of inheritance. It is an obligation from Allah.
Relations between men and women should be based on the principle of equity and goodness.
Rules of marriage especially concerning the women who cannot be taken in marriage.
Men and women’s rights over their properties.
Disagreement and reconciliation between husband and wife.
Internal and external purity: rules of wudu, ghusl and prayers.
Fulfill the trusts and refer all disputes to Allah and His Messenger.
Those who decline to accept the decisions of Allah’s Messenger are the hypocrites.
It is the duty of the Believers to establish justice and protect the poor and oppressed.
Hypocrites’ attitude to the Prophet and to the Believers
How to deal with the hypocrites who are prone to fighting
Believers must respect the life of other Believers, Murder and its punishment.
Believers must join and live with other Believers unless they are unable to do so.
Prayers for the travelers and those who are in the battlefield.
Always be just and do not take the side of the unjust.
The secret councils of the hypocrites.
Allah will not forgive Shirk. Shaitan’s misleading of humans through deceptions and false promises.

Believers must stand for justice for all. Must pay attention to their faith.
Hypocrites try to deceive Allah. They are lazy in their prayers. Their end will be the lowest part of hell.
Allah’s punishment for those who broke their covenant with Him. Some People of the Book tried to crucify Jesus, but Allah saved him.
The message of Islam is the same as the message of previous Prophets.
Invitation to the People of the Book to accept Islam and recognize the true teachings of Jesus. Some more elaboration on the law of Inheritance.
