In this Surah, Tawhid is emphasized and Shirk and its ideas are critically examined. It tells us that those who are following Shirk they are only blindly following their forefathers. The true wisdom is to believe in Allah. The advises of Luqman the wise are also given here to support the same principles.

The surah encompasses a variety of topics and contains several commands for Muslims such as enjoining fasting on the believer during the month of Ramadan; forbidding interest or usury (riba); and several famous verses such as The Throne Verse, Al-Baqara 256, and the final two or three verses. The surah addresses a wide variety of topics, including substantial amounts of law, and retells stories of Adam, Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). A major theme is guidance: urging the pagans (Al-Mushrikeen) and the Jews of Medina to embrace Islam, and warning them and the hypocrites (Munafiqun) of the fate God had visited in the past on those who failed to heed his call.

Quran 28:76~81

Indeed, Korah (Qaroon)was from the people of Moses, but he behaved arrogantly towards them. We had granted him such treasures that even their keys would burden a group of strong men. ˹Some of˺ his people advised him,“Do not be prideful! Surely Allah does not like the prideful.Rather, seek the ˹reward˺ of the Hereafter by means of what Allah has granted you, without forgetting your share of this world. And be good ˹to others˺ as Allah has been good to you. Do not seek to spread corruption in the land, for Allah certainly does not like the corruptors.”He replied, “I have been granted all this because of some knowledge I have.”
Did he not know that Allah had already destroyed some from the generations before him who were far superior to him in power and greater in accumulating ˹wealth˺? There will be no need for the wicked to be asked about their sins. Then he came out before his people in all his glamour. Those who desired the life of this world wished, “If only we could have something like what Korah has been given. He is truly a man of great fortune!”But those gifted with knowledge said, “Shame on you! Allah’s reward is far better for those who believe and do good. But none will attain this except the steadfast.”Then We caused the earth to swallow him up, along with his home. There was no one to help him against Allah, nor could he even help himself Quran 28:76~81 Surah al_Qasas
Surah al-Qasas [The Story] takes it name from being mentioned in [28:25],
‘Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness.

So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said,
“Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people.”

There are also answers here to the questions and doubts that were raised by some non-believers.

Quran 17:18~21

Whoever desires this fleeting world ˹alone˺, We hasten in it whatever We please to whoever We will; then We destine them for Hell, where they will burn, condemned and rejected. But whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it accordingly, and is a ˹true˺ believer, it is they whose striving will be appreciated. We provide both the former and the latter from the bounty of your Lord. And the bounty of your Lord can never be withheld.See how We have favoured some over others ˹in this life˺, but the Hereafter is certainly far greater in rank and in favour.Quran 17:18~21

The word Isra’ refers to the “night journey” of the prophet Muhammad.
This surah is part of a series al-Musabbihat surahs because it begins with the glorification of God.

This surah takes its name from the first verse which, in Islamic tradition, tells the event of the Isra,
the transportation of Muhammad during the night from the Great Mosque of Mecca to what is referred to as “the farthest Mosque”.”
The exact location is specified in the Qurran in Arabic words أَسۡرَىٰ بِعَبۡدِهِۦ لَيۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡأَقۡصَا but this is commonly taken to Noble Sanctuary (Temple Mount) in Jerusalem. Some scholars disagree about this (see Isra and Mi’raj) lively .
While the city of Jerusalem (or al Quds , Al-Aqsa mosque) is mentioned by name anywhere in the Qur’an,[citation needed]
The first verse refers to Mohammed being taken from the ‘Masjid ul-harram’ to the ‘Masjid al-Aqsa’:
Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We (God) did bless,-

so that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).

Quran 43:33~35

Were it not that people might ˹be tempted to˺ become one community ˹of disbelievers˺, We would have supplied the homes of ˹only˺ those who disbelieve in the Most Compassionate with silver roofs and ˹silver˺ stairways to ascend, as well as ˹silver˺ gates and thrones to recline on, and ornaments ˹of gold˺. Yet all this is no more than a ˹fleeting˺ enjoyment in this worldly life. ˹But˺ the Hereafter with your Lord is ˹only˺ for those mindful ˹of Him˺.Quran 43:33~35
The Surah takes its name from the Ayat, وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَالْآخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ “And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.” (43:35) There are 89 Ayat in this Surah.

The Surah tells us that the revelation is a mercy from Allah. Allah chooses whosoever He wills to give His revelation. The worldly goods and riches do not necessarily mean that a person is best in the sight of Allah. The real value comes from following the truth and righteousness.
