Quran 53:50~55 (Ayah an-Najm)

And He destroyed the first ˹people of˺ ’Ȃd, and ˹then˺ Thamûd, sparing no one. And before ˹that He destroyed˺ the people of Noah, who were truly far worse in wrongdoing and transgression. And ˹it was˺ He ˹Who˺ turned the cities ˹of Sodom and Gomorrah˺ upside down. How overwhelming was what covered ˹them˺! Now, which of your Lord’s favours will you dispute? Quran 53:50~55 Surah an-Najm (The Star)
This Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ “By the star when it descends,” (53:1).
There are 62 Ayat in this Surah.
وَأَنَّهُۥۤ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَثَمُودَا۟ فَمَاۤ أَبۡقَىٰ وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ
The Surah talks about the eminence of the Prophet (saw) with his Mi’raj and closeness to Allah. It warns the disbelievers about the errors of their attitude towards the Qur’an and the Prophet of Allah. Some of their wrong beliefs in the angels as daughters of God, intercession of the angels etc. are also mentioned.
اور یہ کہ اُسی نے عاد اولیٰ کو ہلاک کیا اور ثمود کو ایسا مٹایا کہ ان میں سے کسی کو باقی نہ چھوڑا اور اُن سے پہلے قوم نوحؑ کو تباہ کیا کیونکہ وہ تھے ہی سخت ظالم و سرکش لوگ اور اوندھی گرنے والی بستیوں کو اٹھا پھینکا پھر چھا دیا اُن پر وہ کچھ جو (تم جانتے ہی ہو کہ) کیا چھا دیا پس اے مخاطب، اپنے رب کی کن کن نعمتوں میں تو شک کرے گا؟"
Sections:
The Mi’raj experience of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). Gods or goddesses of the non-believers are mere conjectures and names without any reality.
The angels are the servants of Allah. No intercession can work against Allah. Allah is most forgiving, but He requires righteousness.
Those who deny the truth they are standing against the power and majesty of Allah.

Quran 20:133~135

They demand, “If only he could bring us a sign from his Lord !” Have they not ˹already˺ received a confirmation of what is in earlier Scriptures? Had We destroyed them with a torment before this ˹Prophet came˺, they would have surely argued, “Our Lord ! If only You had sent us a messenger, we would have followed Your revelations before being humiliated and put to shame.” Say ˹to them, O Prophet˺, “Each ˹of us˺ is waiting, so keep waiting ! You will soon know who is on the Straight Path and is ˹rightly˺ guided.” Quran 20:133~135, Surah Ta Ha
Surah TaHa takes its name after the disjointed letters from the first Ayat.
It has 135 ayat.

وَقَالُوا۟ لَوۡلَا یَأۡتِینَا بِءَایَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۤۚ أَوَ لَمۡ تَأۡتِهِم بَیِّنَةُ مَا فِی ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَلَوۡ أَنَّاۤ أَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهُم بِعَذَابࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَیۡنَا رَسُولࣰا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَایَـٰتِكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخۡزَىٰ قُلۡ كُلࣱّ مُّتَرَبِّصࣱ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطِ ٱلسَّوِیِّ وَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ
The subject matter of the Surah is to assure the Prophet and his followers that the message of the Qur’an will eventually succeed.
The story of Prophet Moses is mentioned in detail.
Then it is mentioned how the enemies of Islam are opposing it and what will be the consequences of this opposition for them.
اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ (پیغمبر) اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے ہمارے پاس کوئی نشانی کیوں نہیں لاتے۔ کیا ان کے پاس پہلی کتابوں کی نشانی نہیں آئی؟ اور اگر ہم ان کو پیغمبر (کے بھیجنے) سے پیشتر کسی عذاب سے ہلاک کردیتے تو وہ کہتے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار تو نے ہماری طرف کوئی پیغمبر کیوں نہ بھیجا کہ ہم ذلیل اور رسوا ہونے سے پہلے تیرے کلام (واحکام) کی پیروی کرتے کہہ دو کہ سب (نتائج اعمال) کے منتظر ہیں سو تم بھی منتظر رہو۔ عنقریب تم کو معلوم ہوجائے گا کہ (دین کے) سیدھے رستے پر چلنے والے کون ہیں اور (جنت کی طرف) راہ پانے والے کون ہیں (ہم یا تم)
Sections:
Prophet Muhammad is told not to feel distress because of the denial of the unbeleivers. Allah knows everything. Remember the story of Moses. Allah called him to the Prophethood and gave him special signs.
Prophet Moses’ prayer. Allah commanded Moses and his brother Aaron to go to Pharaoh and give him the message. Allah mentions His favors upon Moses.
Prophet Moses goes to Pharaoh. The challenge with the Egyptian magicians. The defeat of the magicians and then their conversion.
Allah saved the Children of Israel from Pharaoh. Prophet Moses goes to Sinai. Samiri misleads the Israelites and they worship the calf.
The anger of Prophet Moses. Samiri confessed his evil action and he was punished.
The Day of Judgment. No intercession will help without Allah’s permission. The opponents of the Prophet.
Devil misleads human beings. Some references to the story of Adam and Iblis.
The evil doers will be punished. Be patient and offer regular prayers.

Quran 7:154~156

When Moses’ anger subsided, he took up the Tablets whose text contained guidance and mercy for those who stand in awe of their Lord. Moses chose seventy men from among his people for Our appointment and, when they were seized by an earthquake, he cried, continued….
The Surah is named after the story of the men awaiting on the “Elevations” between Paradise and Hell.
“My Lord! Had You willed, You could have destroyed them long ago, and me as well. Will You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is only a test from You— by which You allow whoever you will to stray and guide whoever You will. You are our Guardian. So forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best forgiver. Ordain for us what is good in this life and the next. Indeed, we have turned to You ˹in repentance˺.” continued….
It comprises of 206 Ayat.
Allah replied, “I will inflict My torment on whoever I will. But My mercy encompasses everything. I will ordain mercy for those who shun evil, pay alms-tax, and believe in Our revelations. Quran 7:154~156 Surah al-A`raf (The Elevated Places)

وَلَمَّا سَكَتَ عَن مُّوسَى ٱلۡغَضَبُ أَخَذَ ٱلۡأَلۡوَاحَۖ وَفِی نُسۡخَتِهَا هُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِرَبِّهِمۡ یَرۡهَبُونَ وَٱخۡتَارَ مُوسَىٰ قَوۡمَهُۥ سَبۡعِینَ رَجُلࣰا لِّمِیقَـٰتِنَاۖ فَلَمَّاۤ أَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ أَهۡلَكۡتَهُم مِّن قَبۡلُ وَإِیَّـٰیَۖ أَتُهۡلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلسُّفَهَاۤءُ مِنَّاۤۖ إِنۡ هِیَ إِلَّا فِتۡنَتُكَ تُضِلُّ بِهَا مَن تَشَاۤءُ وَتَهۡدِی مَن تَشَاۤءُۖ أَنتَ وَلِیُّنَا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَاۖ وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلۡغَـٰفِرِینَ
The basic theme of this Surah is Risalah, i.e. Allah’s message as it was sent through many messengers. Several Prophets and parts of their stories are mentioned to emphasize Prophets’ mission and their struggle with their people.
۞ وَٱكۡتُبۡ لَنَا فِی هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَةࣰ وَفِی ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَۚ قَالَ عَذَابِیۤ أُصِیبُ بِهِۦ مَنۡ أَشَاۤءُۖ وَرَحۡمَتِی وَسِعَتۡ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲۚ فَسَأَكۡتُبُهَا لِلَّذِینَ یَتَّقُونَ وَیُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِءَایَـٰتِنَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ
The Surah tells us that Allah’s Prophets suffered for the cause of truth. Their enemies tried to harm them, but then Allah helped his prophets and defeated their enemies. The Surah emphasizes that the true message must be presented under all circumstances. After the Prophets it is the duty of the Believers to convey the message of Allah to all people.
اور جب موسیٰ کا غصہ فرو ہوا تو (تورات) کی تختیاں اٹھالیں اور جو کچھ ان میں لکھا تھا وہ ان لوگوں کے لیے جو اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرتے ہیں۔ ہدایت اور رحمت تھی اور موسیٰ نے اس میعاد پر جو ہم نے مقرر کی تھی اپنی قوم کے ستر آدمی منتخب (کرکے کوہ طور پر حاضر) ٹل کیے۔ جب ان کو زلزلے نے پکڑا تو موسیٰ نے کہا کہ
Al-A’raf – The Elevations.
اے پروردگار تو چاہتا تو ان کو اور مجھ کو پہلے ہی سے ہلاک کر دیتا۔ کیا تو اس فعل کی سزا میں جو ہم میں سے بےعقل لوگوں نے کیا ہے ہمیں ہلاک کردے گا۔ یہ تو تیری آزمائش ہے۔ اس سے تو جس کو چاہے گمراہ کرے اور جس کو چاہے ہدایت بخشے۔
Allah mentions Paradise and Hellfire and then speaks of the ‘elevations’ between them reserved for some amongst humanity.
تو ہی ہمارا کارساز ہے تو ہمیں (ہمارے گناہ) بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم فرما اور تو سب سے بہتر بخشنے والا ہے اور ہمارے لیے اس دنیا میں بھی بھلائی لکھ دے اور آخرت میں بھی۔ ہم تیری طرف رجوع ہوچکے۔
These people not knowing what will happen to them.
فرمایا کہ جو میرا عذاب ہے اسے تو جس پر چاہتا ہوں نازل کرتا ہوں اور جو میری رحمت ہے وہ ہر چیز کو شامل ہے۔ میں اس کو ان لوگوں کے لیے لکھ دوں گا جو پرہیزگاری کرتے اور زکوٰة دیتے اور ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں
The people of Hell-fire will be refused water as it will be prohibited for the disbelievers in the after-life.

Quran 22:45

Many are the societies We have destroyed for persisting in wrongdoing, leaving them in total ruin. ˹Many are˺ also the abandoned wells and lofty palaces! Quran 22:45 Surah al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage)
Named after the obligation of the pilgrimage to Makkah – The Hajj.
The word ‘Hajj’ is only mentioned once in this Surah, وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ “And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass -” [22:27]
There are 78 Ayat in this Surah.

فَكَأَیِّن مِّن قَرۡیَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةࣱ فَهِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئۡرࣲ مُّعَطَّلَةࣲ وَقَصۡرࣲ مَّشِیدٍ
The Surah reminds about the approaching end of the world, need for the firmness of faith to support the truth and to eradicate the evil.
It talks about prayers, humbleness and sacrifice, respect of the Ka’bah, the House of Allah, and striving to defend the truth.
اور بہت سی بستیاں ہیں کہ ہم نے ان کو تباہ کر ڈالا کہ وہ نافرمان تھیں۔ سو وہ اپنی چھتوں پر گری پڑی ہیں۔ اور (بہت سے) کنوئیں بےکار اور (بہت سے) محل ویران پڑے ہیں
Sections:
The Shaking of the Last Hour. Arguments for the Resurrection from the stages of human creation and from the rain that produces vegetation.
The marginal Muslims and their end.
The true believers shall be rewarded.
Pilgrimage to the House of Allah.
Respect of the Symbols of Allah.
The permission of fighting back is granted to those to whom wrong is done.
Satan’s enticements and Allah’s especial protection of His words.
The reward of those who migrate in the cause of Allah.
Allah’s order prevails in the heaven and earth.
The Muslim community is chosen by Allah for a special purpose.

Quran 16:45~47

Do those who devise evil plots feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them? Or that the torment will not come upon them in ways they cannot comprehend? Or that He will not seize them while they go about ˹their day˺, for then they will have no escape? Or that He will not destroy them gradually? But your Lord is truly Ever Gracious, Most Merciful. Quran 16:45~47 Surah an-Nahl (The Bee)
The Bee (Arabic: الْنَّحْل; an-naḥl) is the 16th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an, with 128 verses (āyāt).

أَفَأَمِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ مَكَرُوا۟ ٱلسَّیِّءَاتِ أَن یَخۡسِفَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ یَأۡتِیَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُونَ أَوۡ یَأۡخُذَهُمۡ فِی تَقَلُّبِهِمۡ فَمَا هُم بِمُعۡجِزِینَ أَوۡ یَأۡخُذَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفࣲ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفࣱ رَّحِیمٌ
The Surah speaks about Allah’s creative power.
Everything in the universe points to Allah.
There is coherence and balance in Allah’s creation.
یا جو لوگ بری بری چالیں چلتے ہیں اس بات سے بےخوف ہیں کہ خدا ان کو زمین میں دھنسا دے یا (ایسی طرف سے) ان پر عذاب آجائے جہاں سے ان کو خبر ہی نہ ہو یا ان کو چلتے پھرتے پکڑ لے وہ (خدا کو) عاجز نہیں کرسکتے یا جب ان کو عذاب کا ڈر پیدا ہوگیا ہو تو ان کو پکڑلے۔ بےشک تمہارا پروردگار بہت شفقت کرنے والا اور مہربان ہے
It is named after honey bees mentioned in verse 68, and contains a comparison of the industry and adaptability of honey bees with the industry of man.
And your Lord taught the honey bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men’s) habitations; Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.

Quran 26:201~209

They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment, which will take them by surprise when they least expect ˹it˺. Then they will cry, “Can we be allowed more time?” Do they ˹really˺ seek to hasten Our torment? Imagine ˹O Prophet˺ if We allowed them enjoyment for years, then there came to them what they had been threatened with: would that enjoyment be of any benefit to them ˹at all˺? We have never destroyed a society without warners to remind ˹them˺, for We would never wrong ˹anyone˺. Quran 26:201~209 Surah ash-Shu`ara` (The Poets)
The Surah is named ‘The Poets’ and is mentioned in the Ayat, وَالشُّعَرَاءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ “And the poets – [only] the deviators follow them;” (26:224).
This is the longest Makki Surah of the Qur’an having 227 Ayat.

لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ یَرَوُا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِیمَ فَیَأۡتِیَهُم بَغۡتَةࣰ وَهُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُونَ فَیَقُولُوا۟ هَلۡ نَحۡنُ مُنظَرُونَ أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا یَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ أَفَرَءَیۡتَ إِن مَّتَّعۡنَـٰهُمۡ سِنِینَ ثُمَّ جَاۤءَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یُوعَدُونَ مَاۤ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یُمَتَّعُونَ وَمَاۤ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡیَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ ذِكۡرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَـٰلِمِینَ
The non-believers were asking for signs to prove that the Qur’an was the word of Allah. Allah mentioned many signs both in nature and in history. Stories of many prophets are also mentioned to indicate that all prophets presented basically the same message.
وہ دردناک عذاب دیکھے بغیر اس پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے پھر وہ ان پر اچاناک آئے گا اور انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہوگی پھر کہیں گے کیا ہمیں مہلت مل سکتی ہے کیا ہمارے عذاب کو جلد چاہتے ہیں بھلا دیکھ اگر ہم انہیں چند سال فائدہ اٹھانے دیں پھر ان کے پاس وہ عذاب آئے جس کا وعدہ دیے جاتے ہیں تو جو انہوں نے فائدہ اٹھایا ہے کیا ان کے کچھ کام بھی آئے گا اور ہم نے ایسی کوئی بستی ہلاک نہیں کی جس کے لیے ڈرانے والے نہ آئے ہوں نصیحت دینے کے لیے اور ہم ظالم نہیں تھے
Sections:
Allah has power to bring down the mightiest sign, but here is a test for people. This wonderful creation is a sign itself for those who want to learn.
Signs were shown to Pharaoh.
Pharaoh’s magicians and Prophet Moses.
The exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. The sea splitting and giving the way.
Prophet Ibrahim’s struggle against idolatry.
Prophet Noah and his people.
The ‘Ad and the Prophet Hud – peace be upon him.
The Thamud and the Prophet Saleh – peace be upon him.
Prophet Lot – peace be upon him – and his people.
Prophet Shu’aib – peace be upon him – and his people.
The Qur’an is the message from the Lord of the worlds. It is neither from devils nor do they have any clue of this message. It is not poetry of the poets. It is a serious message with eternal consequences.

Quran 12:109

We only sent before you ˹O Prophet˺ men inspired by Us from among the people of each society. Have the deniers not travelled through the land to see what was the end of those ˹destroyed˺ before them? And surely the ˹eternal˺ Home of the Hereafter is far better for those mindful ˹of Allah˺. Will you not then understand? Quran 12:109 Surah Yusuf (Joseph)
Yusuf (Arabic: يوسف, Yūsuf; Arabic synonym of “Joseph”) is the 12th chapter (Surah) of the Quran and has 111 Ayahs (verses)

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالࣰا نُّوحِیۤ إِلَیۡهِم مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰۤۗ أَفَلَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۗ وَلَدَارُ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ ٱتَّقَوۡا۟ۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
The story of Joseph in the Qurʾān is a continuous narrative. There are more than one hundred verses, and in totality they encompass many years and “present an amazing variety of sciences and characters in a tightly-knit plot, and offer a dramatic illustration of some of the fundamental themes of the Qurʾān.
اے محمدؐ، تم سے پہلے ہم نے جو پیغمبر بھیجے تھے وہ سب بھی انسان ہی تھے، اور انہی بستیوں کے رہنے والوں میں سے تھے، اور اُنہی کی طرف ہم وحی بھیجتے رہے ہیں پھر کیا یہ لوگ زمین میں چلے پھرے نہیں ہیں کہ اُن قوموں کا انجام انہیں نظر نہ آیا جو ان سے پہلے گزر چکی ہیں؟ یقیناً آخرت کا گھر اُن لوگوں کے لیے اور زیادہ بہتر ہے جنہوں نے (پیغمبروں کی بات مان کر) تقویٰ کی روش اختیار کی کیا اب بھی تم لوگ نہ سمجھو گے؟
” The Qurʾān itself relates to the story’s importance in the third verse: “and We narrate unto you aḥsanal-qaṣaṣ (Arabic: أحسن ٱلقصص, “best (or most beautiful) of stories”).
” Most scholars believe this is referring to Joseph’s story, while others, including Ṭabari, argue it is a reference to the Qurʾān as a whole.
It asserts and documents the execution of God’s rulings despite the challenge of human intervention (“And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not”).
This is what the story of Yūsuf confirms categorically, for it ends with comfort and marvels, which is described in the Qurʾān

Quran 10:24

The life of this world is just like rain We send down from the sky, producing a mixture of plants which humans and animals consume. Then just as the earth looks its best, perfectly beautified, and its people think they have full control over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, so We mow it down as if it never flourished yesterday! This is how We make the signs clear for people who reflect. Quran 10:24 [Surah Yunus (Jonah)]
The surah is named after the Prophet Yunus [Jonah] and this is the only surah of the Qur’an to mention the ‘people of Yunus’ –
“Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah?
When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time” (10:98)
There are 109 Ayat in this Surah.

إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا كَمَاۤءٍ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَٱخۡتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِمَّا یَأۡكُلُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمُ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَاۤ أَخَذَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زُخۡرُفَهَا وَٱزَّیَّنَتۡ وَظَنَّ أَهۡلُهَاۤ أَنَّهُمۡ قَـٰدِرُونَ عَلَیۡهَاۤ أَتَىٰهَاۤ أَمۡرُنَا لَیۡلًا أَوۡ نَهَارࣰا فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهَا حَصِیدࣰا كَأَن لَّمۡ تَغۡنَ بِٱلۡأَمۡسِۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡءَایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ
The main subject of this Surah is faith in Allah and belief in the Hereafter.
Those who have true faith, they worship Allah and recognize Him as their Lord and Master and live their lives in accordance to His command.
Allah sent His Messengers to remind people and to warn them.
The stories of Prophets Noah and Prophet Moses with Pharaoh are told to remind people about the consequences of unfaithfulness and arrogance.
دنیا کی یہ زندگی (جس کے نشے میں مست ہو کر تم ہماری نشانیوں سے غفلت برت رہے ہو) اس کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے آسمان سے ہم نے پانی برسایا تو زمین کی پیداوار، جسے آدمی اور جانور سب کھاتے ہیں، خوب گھنی ہو گئی، پھر عین اُس وقت جبکہ زمین اپنی بہار پر تھی اور کھیتیاں بنی سنوری کھڑی تھیں اور ان کے مالک یہ سمجھ رہے تھے کہ اب ہم ان سے فائدہ اُٹھانے پر قادر ہیں، یکایک رات کو یا دن کو ہمارا حکم آ گیا اور ہم نے اسے ایسا غارت کر کے رکھ دیا کہ گویا کل وہاں کچھ تھا ہی نہیں اس طرح ہم نشانیاں کھول کھول کر پیش کرتے ہیں اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو سوچنے سمجھنے والے ہیں

Man’s ingratitude to Allah and His revelation.
Allah’s mercy to His creation. Allah invites to the abode of peace.
Allah’s gifts. The Qur’an is from Allah. Bring a Surah like the Qur’an if you can.
Those who disbelieve in the Qur’an shall be the losers. Every people were sent a Messenger.
The Qur’an is a mercy, blessing and a cure for the problems of humankind.
Whatever you do Allah is a Witness. The mistakes of the Mushrikin.
The story of Prophet Noah and his people. Prophet Moses and Aaron -peace be upon them all.
Allah delivered the Children of Israel from the bondage of the Pharaoh.
Allah’s mercy for the Children of Israel. Prophet Yunus and his people.
If Allah afflicts you with any loss or wants to bestow any profit on you, none can avert it. You must always follow Allah’s guidance.
