Quran 20:2~6

We have not revealed the Quran to you ˹O Prophet˺ to cause you distress, but as a reminder to those in awe ˹of Allah˺. ˹It is˺ a revelation from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens— the Most Compassionate, ˹Who is˺ established on the Throne. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth and whatever is in between and whatever is underground. Quran 20 : 2~6 Surah Ta HA
Surah TaHa takes its name after the disjointed letters from the first Ayat.
It has 135 ayat.

مَاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِتَشۡقَىٰۤ إِلَّا تَذۡكِرَةࣰ لِّمَن یَخۡشَىٰ تَنزِیلࣰا مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ ٱلۡعُلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ لَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحۡتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ
The subject matter of the Surah is to assure the Prophet and his followers that the message of the Qur’an will eventually succeed. The story of Prophet Moses is mentioned in detail. Then it is mentioned how the enemies of Islam are opposing it and what will be the consequences of this opposition for them.
(اے محمدﷺ) ہم نے تم پر قرآن اس لئے نازل نہیں کیا کہ تم مشقت میں پڑ جاؤ بلکہ اس شخص کو نصیحت دینے کے لئے (نازل کیا ہے) جو خوف رکھتا ہے یہ اس (ذات برتر) کا اتارا ہوا ہے جس نے زمین اور اونچے اونچے آسمان بنائے (یعنی خدائے) رحمٰن جس نےعرش پر قرار پکڑا جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اور جو کچھ ان دونوں کے بیچ میں ہے اور جو کچھ (زمین کی) مٹی کے نیچے ہے سب اسی کا ہے
Sections:
Prophet Muhammad is told not to feel distress because of the denial of the unbeleivers. Allah knows everything. Remember the story of Moses. Allah called him to the Prophethood and gave him special signs.
Prophet Moses’ prayer. Allah commanded Moses and his brother Aaron to go to Pharaoh and give him the message. Allah mentions His favors upon Moses.
Prophet Moses goes to Pharaoh. The challenge with the Egyptian magicians. The defeat of the magicians and then their conversion.
Allah saved the Children of Israel from Pharaoh. Prophet Moses goes to Sinai. Samiri misleads the Israelites and they worship the calf.
The anger of Prophet Moses. Samiri confessed his evil action and he was punished.
The Day of Judgment. No intercession will help without Allah’s permission. The opponents of the Prophet.
Devil misleads human beings. Some references to the story of Adam and Iblis.
The evil doers will be punished. Be patient and offer regular prayers.

Quran 4:103

When the prayers are over, remember Allah—whether you are standing, sitting, or lying down. But when you are secure (from fighting with the disbelievers), establish regular prayers. Indeed, performing prayers is a duty on the believers at the appointed times. Quran 4 : 103 Surah an-Nisa` (Women)
An-Nisa’ (Arabic: ٱلنساء, An-Nisāʾ; meaning: The Women) is the fourth chapter (sūrah) of the Quran, with 176 verses (āyāt).
The title derives from the numerous references to women throughout the chapter, including verse 34 and verses 127-130.

فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمْ فَإِذَا اطْمَأْنَنتُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَّوْقُوتً
According to many scholars, the Surah was revealed after the Battle of Uhud, which left 70 of the Muslims killed.
This situation brought about the need to address issues such as inheritance left by those killed etc.
Hence in Surah an-Nisa, Allah Almighty address issues such as dealing with orphans [including children of those killed at Uhud] and inheritance.
پھر جب تم نماز تمام کرچکو تو کھڑے اور بیٹھے اور لیٹے (ہر حالت میں) خدا کو یاد کرو پھر جب خوف جاتا رہے تو (اس طرح سے) نماز پڑھو (جس طرح امن کی حالت میں پڑھتے ہو) بےشک نماز کا مومنوں پر اوقات (مقررہ) میں ادا کرنا فرض ہے
Sections:
Responsibility to take care of the family. Special care of orphans.
Laws of inheritance. It is an obligation from Allah.
Relations between men and women should be based on the principle of equity and goodness.
Rules of marriage especially concerning the women who cannot be taken in marriage.
Men and women’s rights over their properties.
Disagreement and reconciliation between husband and wife.
Internal and external purity: rules of wudu, ghusl and prayers.
Fulfill the trusts and refer all disputes to Allah and His Messenger.
Those who decline to accept the decisions of Allah’s Messenger are the hypocrites.
It is the duty of the Believers to establish justice and protect the poor and oppressed.
Hypocrites’ attitude to the Prophet and to the Believers
How to deal with the hypocrites who are prone to fighting
Believers must respect the life of other Believers, Murder and its punishment.
Believers must join and live with other Believers unless they are unable to do so.
Prayers for the travelers and those who are in the battlefield.
Always be just and do not take the side of the unjust.
The secret councils of the hypocrites.
Allah will not forgive Shirk. Shaitan’s misleading of humans through deceptions and false promises.
Some more directions about dealing with orphans and family disputes.
Believers must stand for justice for all. Must pay attention to their faith.
Hypocrites try to deceive Allah. They are lazy in their prayers. Their end will be the lowest part of hell.
Allah’s punishment for those who broke their covenant with Him. Some People of the Book tried to crucify Jesus, but Allah saved him.
The message of Islam is the same as the message of previous Prophets.
Invitation to the People of the Book to accept Islam and recognize the true teachings of Jesus. Some more elaboration on the law of Inheritance.

Quran 25:58~59

Put your trust in the Ever-Living, Who never dies, and glorify His praises. Sufficient is He as All-Aware of the sins of His servants. ˹He is˺ the One Who created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. ˹He is˺ the Most Compassionate! Ask ˹none other than˺ the All-Knowledgeable about Himself. Quran 25:58~59 Surah al-Furqan (The Criterion)
Surah al-Furqan [The Criterion] takes its name from the first Ayat,
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ
“Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant…” [25:1]
This Surah has 77 Ayat.

The Surah answers some of the objections of the non-believers against the Qur’an and the teachings of Islam. It also presents the character of the Believers as criteria to prove the truth of Islam.
اور اے محمدؐ، اُس خدا پر بھروسہ رکھو جو زندہ ہے اور کبھی مرنے والا نہیں اس کی حمد کے ساتھ اس کی تسبیح کرو اپنے بندوں کے گناہوں سے بس اُسی کا باخبر ہونا کافی ہے وہ جس نے چھ دنوں میں زمین اور آسمان کو اور اُن ساری چیزوں کو بنا کر رکھ دیا جو آسمان و زمین کے درمیان ہیں، پھر آپ ہی (کائنات کے تخت سلطنت) "عرش" پر جلوہ فرما ہوا رحمٰن، اس کی شان بس کسی جاننے والے سے پوچھو
Sections:
Prophet Muhammad came as a Warner for the whole world. The evil of Shirk. The objections of those who denied the Prophet and his message.
The Punishment of those who deny Allah and His message.
Non-believers’ demand to see the angels or Allah. Non-believers say why the whole Qur’an was not sent down at once.
Examples of the people of Prophets Moses, Aaron, Noah and ‘Ad, Thamud and the People of al-Rass.
Examples from the natural world: shadows, night and day, winds of rain, oceans with two different types of waters, creation of human beings, creation of the heaven and earth in six days.
The character and qualities of the most faithful servants of Allah.

Quran 35:29~30

Surely those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer, and donate from what We have provided for them —secretly and openly— ˹can˺ hope for an exchange that will never fail, so that He will reward them in full and increase them out of His grace. He is truly All-Forgiving, Most Appreciative. Quran 35:29~30 Surah Fatir (The Creator)
This Surah takes it name after the first Ayat,
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ
“[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four….” (35:1)
There are 45 Ayat in this Surah.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَتۡلُونَ كِتَـٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ سِرࣰّا وَعَلَانِیَةࣰ یَرۡجُونَ تِجَـٰرَةࣰ لَّن تَبُورَ لِیُوَفِّیَهُمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَیَزِیدَهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورࣱ شَكُورࣱ
In this Surah Allah warns the non-believers on their negative attitude towards Islam and Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him.
The basic message is also explained to them.
جو لوگ خدا کی کتاب پڑھتے اور نماز کی پابندی کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم نے ان کو دیا ہے اس میں سے پوشیدہ اور ظاہر خرچ کرتے ہیں وہ اس تجارت (کے فائدے) کے امیدوار ہیں جو کبھی تباہ نہیں ہوگی کیونکہ خدا ان کو پورا پورا بدلہ دے گا اور اپنے فضل سے کچھ زیادہ بھی دے گا۔ وہ تو بخشنے والا (اور) قدردان ہے
Sections:
Allah’s creative power and His angels. None can stop the mercy of Allah. Be aware of Satan.
The success of the truth over falsehood will surely come.
Allah has power to remove you and bring another group in your place.
Every people had a Warner.
The true believers in Allah.
Allah’s plan cannot be changed or altered. Allah gives time to people to repent.

Quran 35:18

No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. And if a sin-burdened soul cries for help with its burden, none of it will be carried— even by a close relative. You ˹O Prophet˺ can only warn those who stand in awe of their Lord without seeing Him and establish prayer. Whoever purifies themselves, they only do so for their own good. And to Allah is the final return. Quran 35:18 Surah Fatir (The Creator)
This Surah takes it name after the first Ayat,
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ
“[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four….” (35:1)

There are 45 Ayat in this Surah.

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ وَإِن تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمۡلِهَا لَا یُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَیۡءࣱ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۤۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا یَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ

کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا کسی دوسرے کا بوجھ نہ اٹھائے گا اور اگر کوئی لدا ہوا نفس اپنا بوجھ اٹھانے کے لیے پکارے گا تو اس کے بار کا ایک ادنیٰ حصہ بھی بٹانے کے لیے کوئی نہ آئے گا چاہے وہ قریب ترین رشتہ دار ہی کیوں نہ ہو (اے نبیؐ) تم صرف انہی لوگوں کو متنبہ کر سکتے ہو جو بے دیکھے اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں جو شخص بھی پاکیزگی اختیار کرتا ہے اپنی ہی بھلائی کے لیے کرتا ہے اور پلٹنا سب کو اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے

Quran 10:3

Surely your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne, conducting every affair. None can intercede except by His permission. That is Allah—your Lord, so worship Him ˹alone˺. Will you not then be mindful? Quran 10:3 Surah Yunus (Jonah)
The surah is named after the Prophet Yunus [Jonah] and this is the only surah of the Qur’an to mention the ‘people of Yunus’ –
“Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah?
When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time” (10:98)
There are 109 Ayat in this Surah.

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامࣲ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ یُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَۖ مَا مِن شَفِیعٍ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ إِذۡنِهِۦۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
The main subject of this Surah is faith in Allah and belief in the Hereafter.
Those who have true faith, they worship Allah and recognize Him as their Lord and Master and live their lives in accordance to His command.
Allah sent His Messengers to remind people and to warn them.
The stories of Prophets Noah and Prophet Moses with Pharaoh are told to remind people about the consequences of unfaithfulness and arrogance.
بے شک تمہارا رب الله ہی ہے جس نے آسمان اور زمین چھ دن میں بنائے پھر عرش پر قائم ہوا وہی ہر کام کا انتظام کرتا ہے اس کی اجازت کے سوا کوئی سفارش کرنے والا نہیں ہے یہی الله تمہارا پروردگار ہے سو اسی کی عبادت کرو کیا تم پھر بھی نہیں سمجھتے
Sections:
The Qur’an is the Book of wisdom, it contains signs from the All Wise.
Man’s ingratitude to Allah and His revelation.
Allah’s mercy to His creation. Allah invites to the abode of peace.
Allah’s gifts. The Qur’an is from Allah. Bring a Surah like the Qur’an if you can.
Those who disbelieve in the Qur’an shall be the losers. Every people were sent a Messenger.
The Qur’an is a mercy, blessing and a cure for the problems of humankind.
Whatever you do Allah is a Witness. The mistakes of the Mushrikin.
The story of Prophet Noah and his people. Prophet Moses and Aaron -peace be upon them all.
Allah delivered the Children of Israel from the bondage of the Pharaoh.
Allah’s mercy for the Children of Israel. Prophet Yunus and his people.
If Allah afflicts you with any loss or wants to bestow any profit on you, none can avert it. You must always follow Allah’s guidance.

Quran 14:40~41

My Lord ! Make me and those ˹believers˺ of my descendants keep up prayer. Our Lord! Accept my prayers. Our Lord ! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the judgment will come to pass.” Quran 14:40~41 Surah Ibrahim (Abraham) Supplication of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S)
The Surah derives its name from Ibrahim, the father of all prophets who came after him.
There are 52 ayat in this Surah.

رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِی مُقِیمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّیَّتِیۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَاۤءِ رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِی وَلِوَ ٰلِدَیَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ یَوۡمَ یَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ
The basic theme of the Surah is Allah’s guidance through His prophets.
The purpose of this guidance is to take the people from darkness to light.
Many people in the past had doubts about their prophets.
They laughed at them and they threatened to kill them or expel them from their towns.
However, the lasting word is the “good word.”
The Surah also mentions Prophet Ibrahim’s prayer when he established the city of Makkah.
اے میرے پروردگار، مجھے نماز قائم کرنے والا بنا اور میری اولاد سے بھی (ایسے لوگ اٹھا جو یہ کام کریں) پروردگار، میری دعا قبول کر پروردگار، مجھے اور میرے والدین کو اور سب ایمان لانے والوں کو اُس دن معاف کر دیجیو جبکہ حساب قائم ہوگا"
Sections:
The purpose of the Qur’an is to lead humankind to light.
Prophets and their people.
Non-believers threatened the Prophets, but Allah’s promise to the Prophets.
Satan misleads the disbelievers in this world, but in the hereafter he would leave them in the lurch.
The ingratitude of people
Prophet Ibrahim’s prayer for Makkah, for its people and for his own children
Allah is aware of what the wrongdoers are doing, their respite and end.

Quran 11:114~115

Establish prayer ˹O Prophet˺ at both ends of the day and in the early part of the night. Surely good deeds wipe out evil deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful. And be patient! Certainly Allah does not discount the reward of the good-doers. Quran 11:114~115 Surah Hud
The mention of Prophet Hud occurs more time in this Surah than any other Surah of the Qur’an. It appears a total of 5 times.
The Prophet refered to this surah as Hud in a number of hadeeth. Abu Bakr once said to the Prophet, ‘O Messenger of Allah, you have become old.’ The Prophet said, ‘I have become old [due to] [Surah] Hud, al-Waqiah [56], al-Murasalat [77], Amma yatasailoon [an-Naba 78] and Waidha ash-Shamsu kuwirat [at-Takweer 81].” [Tirmidhee]
There are 123 Ayat in this Surah.

In this Surah we have the stories of Prophets Noah, Salih, Hud, Lot, Shuaib and Moses – peace be upon them all. The basic point is that Allah sent His Prophets and Messengers to mankind out of His grace and mercy, but when people did not listen to the Prophets and rejected their message then Allah’s punishment came and came relentlessly. It did not make any difference whether someone was the son of a Prophet or his wife or any one, none could escape Allah’s judgment.
اور دیکھو، نماز قائم کرو دن کے دونوں سروں پر اور کچھ رات گزرنے پر درحقیقت نیکیاں برائیوں کو دور کر دیتی ہیں، یہ ایک یاد دہانی ہے ان لوگوں کے لیے جو خدا کو یاد رکھنے والے ہیں اور صبر کرو ، اللہ نیکی کرنے والوں کا اجر کبھی ضائع نہیں کرتا
Sections:
Seek forgiveness from Allah and His bounties will be for you.
Patience and good deeds bring the stability in character.
The story of Prophet Noah -peace be upon him.
The fate of those who disbelieved in Prophet Noah. The moving description of the fate of Prophet Noah’s son.
The Message of Prophet Hud. ‘Ad people denied Allah’s message and were punished.
The Message of Prophet Saleh, the Sign of the She-Camel, and end of Thamud.
Prophet Ibrahim receives the angles. The angels then went to Prophet Lot. The punishment of the people of Lot -peace be upon him.
Prophet Shu’aib and his message, his people’s denial and their punishment.
Prophet Moses was sent to Pharaoh and his people. The purpose of these stories.
Prophets were denied before. Continue presenting the message with patience. Had Allah forced His will upon the people, He would have made them all one people.
