Quran 41:41~42

Indeed, those who deny the Reminder after it has come to them (are doomed), for it is truly a mighty Book. It cannot be proven false from any angle. ˹It is˺ a revelation from the ˹One Who is˺ All-Wise, Praiseworthy. Quran 41:41~42 Surah Fussilat (Explained in Detail, Revelations Well Expounded)
The Surah is known as ‘Fussilat’ and ‘Haa Meem as-Sajdah’. There are 54 Ayat in this Surah.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱلذِّكۡرِ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَكِتَـٰبٌ عَزِیزࣱ لَّا یَأۡتِیهِ ٱلۡبَـٰطِلُ مِنۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡهِ وَلَا مِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦۖ تَنزِیلࣱ مِّنۡ حَكِیمٍ حَمِیدࣲ
The subject matter of this Surah is Da’wah. It invites to the truth, gives warnings to those who reject the truth, and tells us that the appeal to the truth is within our nature. It tells us also that the Believers receive strength from Allah’s revelation. The revelation gives life to those who were spiritually and morally dead at one time.
جن لوگوں نے نصیحت کو نہ مانا جب وہ ان کے پاس آئی۔ اور یہ تو ایک عالی رتبہ کتاب ہے اس پر جھوٹ کا دخل نہ آگے سے ہوسکتا ہے نہ پیچھے سے۔ (اور) دانا (اور) خوبیوں والے (خدا) کی اُتاری ہوئی ہے
The Surah contains both good news and warnings.

Quran 41:40

Those who twist and distort Our verses are, of course, not unknown to Us. So then, who will fare better on the Day of Judgment? The one flung in the hellfire? Or the one who arrives safe and secure (into paradise)? Do what you want. Of course, He watches (and knows) whatever you do. جو لوگ ہماری آیات کو الٹے معنی پہناتے ہیں وہ ہم سے کچھ چھپے ہوئے نہیں ہیں خود ہی سوچ لو کہ آیا وہ شخص بہتر ہے جو آگ میں جھونکا جانے والا ہے یا وہ جو قیامت کے روز امن کی حالت میں حاضر ہو گا؟ کرتے رہو جو کچھ تم چاہو، تمہاری ساری حرکتوں کو اللہ دیکھ رہا ہے

Quran 46:15 [Supplication at 40 years’ of age]

We have commanded people to honour their parents. Their mothers bore them in hardship and delivered them in hardship. Their ˹period of˺ bearing and weaning is thirty months. In time, when the child reaches their prime at the age of forty, they pray, “My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favours which You blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please You. And instil righteousness in my offspring. I truly repent to You, and I truly submit ˹ to Your Will˺.” Quran 46:15 [Supplication at 40 years of age] Surah al-Ahqaf (The Wind-curved Sandhills)
The Surah takes its name from the Ayat, وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنذَرَ قَوْمَهُ بِالْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّـهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ “And mention, [O Muhammad], the brother of ‘Aad, when he warned his people in the [region of] al-Ahqaf – and warners had already passed on before him and after him – [saying], “Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day.” (46:21). There are 35 Ayat in this Surah.

وَوَصَّیۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَ ٰلِدَیۡهِ إِحۡسَـٰنًاۖ حَمَلَتۡهُ أُمُّهُۥ كُرۡهࣰا وَوَضَعَتۡهُ كُرۡهࣰاۖ وَحَمۡلُهُۥ وَفِصَـٰلُهُۥ ثَلَـٰثُونَ شَهۡرًاۚ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَبَلَغَ أَرۡبَعِینَ سَنَةࣰ قَالَ رَبِّ أَوۡزِعۡنِیۤ أَنۡ أَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِیۤ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَ ٰلِدَیَّ وَأَنۡ أَعۡمَلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا تَرۡضَىٰهُ وَأَصۡلِحۡ لِی فِی ذُرِّیَّتِیۤۖ إِنِّی تُبۡتُ إِلَیۡكَ وَإِنِّی مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ
The Surah gives warnings to those who deny the truth.
When Allah’s punishment comes then neither the sea, nor the dry land can protect.
There is a reference in this Surah to the people of ‘Ad and Allah’s punishment for their sins.
اور ہم نے انسان کو اپنے والدین کے ساتھ بھلائی کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ اس کی ماں نے اس کو تکلیف سے پیٹ میں رکھا اور تکلیف ہی سے جنا۔ اور اس کا پیٹ میں رہنا اور دودھ چھوڑنا ڈھائی برس میں ہوتا ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ جب خوب جوان ہوتا ہے اور چالیس برس کو پہنچ جاتا ہے تو کہتا ہے کہ اے میرے پروردگار مجھے توفیق دے کہ تو نے جو احسان مجھ پر اور میرے ماں باپ پر کئے ہیں ان کا شکر گزار ہوں اور یہ کہ نیک عمل کروں جن کو تو پسند کرے۔ اور میرے لئے میری اولاد میں صلاح (وتقویٰ) دے۔ میں تیری طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں اور میں فرمانبرداروں میں ہوں

Quran 46:13~14

Surely those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast— there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. It is they who will be the residents of Paradise, staying there forever, as a reward for what they used to do. Quran 46:13~14 Surah al-Ahqaf (The Wind-curved Sandhills)

Quran 46:10~12

Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Consider if this ˹Quran˺ is ˹truly˺ from Allah and you deny it, and a witness from the Children of Israel attests to it and then believes, whereas you act arrogantly. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” The disbelievers say of the believers, “Had it been ˹something˺ good, they would not have beaten us to it.” Now since they reject its guidance, they will say, “˹This is˺ an ancient fabrication!” And before this ˹Quran˺ the Book of Moses was ˹revealed as˺ a guide and mercy. اے نبیؐ، ان سے کہو "کبھی تم نے سوچا بھی کہ اگر یہ کلام اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہوا اور تم نے اِس کا انکار کر دیا (تو تمہارا کیا انجام ہوگا)؟ اور اِس جیسے ایک کلام پر تو بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گواہ شہادت بھی دے چکا ہے وہ ایمان لے آیا اور تم اپنے گھمنڈ میں پڑے رہے ایسے ظالموں کو اللہ ہدایت نہیں دیا کرتا" جن لوگوں نے ماننے سے انکار کر دیا ہے وہ ایمان لانے والوں کے متعلق کہتے ہیں کہ اگر اس کتاب کو مان لینا کوئی اچھا کام ہوتا تو یہ لوگ اس معاملے میں ہم سے سبقت نہ لے جا سکتے تھے چونکہ اِنہوں نے اُس سے ہدایت نہ پائی اس لیے اب یہ ضرور کہیں گے کہ یہ تو پرانا جھوٹ ہے حالانکہ اِس سے پہلے موسیٰؑ کی کتاب رہنما اور رحمت بن کر آ چکی ہے، اور یہ کتاب اُس کی تصدیق کرنے والی زبان عربی میں آئی ہے تاکہ ظالموں کو متنبہ کر دے اور نیک روش اختیار کرنے والوں کو بشارت دے دے

Quran 41:2~5

A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful a Book whose revelations are well expounded, an Arabic Quran for people who possess knowledge proclaiming good news and a warning. Yet most of them turn away and so do not listen And they say, Our hearts are encased against that to which you call us, and there is a heaviness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us, so do as you will and so shall we Quran 41:2~5
The Surah is known as ‘Fussilat’ and ‘Haa Meem as-Sajdah’.
The following Surahs all have the letters, Ha-Meem as their opening Ayaat and interestingly what is common to all of them is their mentioning of the Prophet Musa. These Surahs are;
Surah 40: al-Ghafir
Surah 41: Fussilat
Surah 42: Shurah
Surah 43: Zukhruf
Surah 44: Dukhan
Surah 45: Jathiyah
Surah 46: al-Ahqaaf

نہایت مہربان بہت رحم فرمانے والے (رب) کی جانب سے اتارا جانا ہے، (اِس) کتاب کا جس کی آیات واضح طور پر بیان کر دی گئی ہیں علم و دانش رکھنے والی قوم کے لئے عربی (زبان میں) قرآن (ہے)، خوشخبری سنانے والا ہے اور ڈر سنانے والا ہے، پھر ان میں سے اکثر لوگوں نے رُوگردانی کی سو وہ (اِسے) سنتے ہی نہیں ہیں، اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے دل اُس چیز سے غلافوں میں ہیں جس کی طرف آپ ہمیں بلاتے ہیں اور ہمارے کانوں میں (بہرے پن کا) بوجھ ہے اور ہمارے اور آپ کے درمیان پردہ ہے سو آپ (اپنا) عمل کرتے رہئے ہم اپنا عمل کرنے والے ہیں،

About Mishary Rashid Alafasy

Mishary Rashid Alafasy is born on September 5th, 1976, Mishary Rashid Alafasy or full for Mishary Rashid Ghareeb Mohammed Rashid Al-Afasy (also nicknamed Abu Nora ), is an eminent and prolific Imam and an excellent Qur’an reciter hailing from Kuwait.

The Holy Quran was the subject of this Imam’s keen interest and learning and hence, it came as no surprise when he memorized the Book of Allah in a few years itself.Besides his melodious and emotional voice, he has managed to grab the attention of the bigwigs in the field of Islamic knowledge such as Sheikh Ibrahim Ali Shehata Al-Samanodi, the Sheikh Abdur Area Radwan, and also the great sheikh Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Zaiat.The next step was his decision to pursue his higher education at the Islamic and Quranic university of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

The two famous links of the recitation of the Quran: TV Alafasy and Alafasy Q are managed by this great Imam and rightfully so. In a similar manner, numerous TV channels and radio stations have taken pride in broadcasting all his highly commendable productions.

Currently, Mishary Rashid Alafasy is leading the prayers as an Imam at Masjid Al-Kabir in Kuwait.
