Quran 35:8

Are those whose evil-doing is made so appealing to them that they deem it good ˹like those who are rightly guided˺? ˹It is˺ certainly Allah ˹Who˺ leaves to stray whoever He wills, and guides whoever He wills. So do not grieve yourself to death over them ˹O Prophet˺. Surely Allah is All-Knowing of what they do. Quran 35:8 Surah Fatir (The Creator)
This Surah takes it name after the first Ayat,
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ
“[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four….” (35:1)

أَفَمَن زُیِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوۤءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنࣰاۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُضِلُّ مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ فَلَا تَذۡهَبۡ نَفۡسُكَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حَسَرَ ٰتٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمُۢ بِمَا یَصۡنَعُونَ
In this Surah Allah warns the non-believers on their negative attitude towards Islam and Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him.
The basic message is also explained to them.
(بھلا کچھ ٹھکانا ہے اُس شخص کی گمراہی کا) جس کے لیے اُس کا برا عمل خوشنما بنا دیا گیا ہو اور وہ اُسے اچھا سمجھ رہا ہو؟ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے گمراہی میں ڈال دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے راہ راست دکھا دیتا ہے پس (اے نبیؐ) خواہ مخواہ تمہاری جان ان لوگوں کی خاطر غم و افسوس میں نہ گھلے جو کچھ یہ کر رہے ہیں اللہ اُس کو خوب جانتا ہے
Sections:
Allah’s creative power and His angels. None can stop the mercy of Allah. Be aware of Satan.
The success of the truth over falsehood will surely come.
Allah has power to remove you and bring another group in your place.
Every people had a Warner.
The true believers in Allah.
Allah’s plan cannot be changed or altered. Allah gives time to people to repent.

Quran 45:32

And whenever it was said ˹to you˺, ‘Surely Allah’s promise ˹of judgment˺ is true and there is no doubt about the Hour,’ you said ˹mockingly˺, ‘We do not know what the Hour is! We think it is no more than speculation, and we are not convinced ˹ that it will ever come˺.’” Quran 45:32 Surah al-Jathiyah (The Kneeling)
The Surah takes its name with the mention of kneeling in the Ayat,
وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً ۚكُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَىٰ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِهَا الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
“And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told],
“Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.” (45:28).
There are 37 Ayat in this Surah.

The judgment of Allah will cover all the people.
The nations will stand before him in the kneeling condition.
اور جب کہا جاتا تھا کہ خدا کا وعدہ سچا ہے اور قیامت میں کچھ شک نہیں تو تم کہتے تھے ہم نہیں جانتے کہ قیامت کیا ہے۔ ہم اس کو محض ظنی خیال کرتے ہیں اور ہمیں یقین نہیں آتا
Sections:
Allah’s signs are all over in the universe and in our own soul. Those who deny the revelation of God will see punishment of Allah.
Follow the clear path of truth.
Some people have made their desires their god. They also deny the Hereafter.
People will stand before Allah on their knees. Their record of deeds will be presented to them.

Quran 45:24~26

And they argue, “There is nothing beyond our worldly life. We die; others are born. And nothing destroys us but ˹the passage of˺ time.” Yet they have no knowledge ˹in support˺ of this ˹claim˺. They only speculate. And whenever Our clear revelations are recited to them, their only argument is to say: “Bring our forefathers back, if what you say is true!” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “ ˹It is˺ Allah ˹Who˺ gives you life, then causes you to die, then will gather you ˹all˺ on the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. But most people do not know.”. Quran 45:24~26 Surah al-Jathiyah (The Kneeling)

اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہماری زندگی تو صرف دنیا ہی کی ہے کہ (یہیں) مرتے اور جیتے ہیں اور ہمیں تو زمانہ مار دیتا ہے۔ اور ان کو اس کا کچھ علم نہیں۔ صرف ظن سے کام لیتے ہیں اور جب ان کے سامنے ہماری کھلی کھلی آیتیں پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو ان کی یہی حجت ہوتی ہے کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو ہمارے باپ دادا کو (زندہ کر) لاؤ کہہ دو کہ خدا ہی تم کو جان بخشتا ہے پھر (وہی) تم کو موت دیتا ہے پھر تم کو قیامت کے روز جس (کے آنے) میں کچھ شک نہیں تم کو جمع کرے گا لیکن بہت سے لوگ نہیں جانتے

Quran 11:12~14

Perhaps you ˹O Prophet˺ may wish to give up some of what is revealed to you and may be distressed by it because they say, “If only a treasure had been sent down to him, or an angel had come with him!” You are only a warner, and Allah is the Trustee of All Affairs. Or do they say, “He has fabricated this ˹Quran˺!”? Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Produce ten fabricated sûrahs like it and seek help from whoever you can—other than Allah— if what you say is true!” But if your helpers fail you, then know that it has been revealed with the knowledge of Allah, and that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him! Will you ˹not˺ then submit ˹to Allah˺? Quran 11:12~14 [Surah Hud]
The mention of Prophet Hud occurs more time in this Surah than any other Surah of the Qur’an. It appears a total of 5 times.
The Prophet refered to this surah as Hud in a number of hadeeth. Abu Bakr once said to the Prophet, ‘O Messenger of Allah, you have become old.’ The Prophet said, ‘I have become old [due to] [Surah] Hud, al-Waqiah [56], al-Murasalat [77], Amma yatasailoon [an-Naba 78] and Waidha ash-Shamsu kuwirat [at-Takweer 81].” [Tirmidhee]
There are 123 Ayat in this Surah.

فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكُۢ بَعۡضَ مَا یُوحَىٰۤ إِلَیۡكَ وَضَاۤىِٕقُۢ بِهِۦ صَدۡرُكَ أَن یَقُولُوا۟ لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡهِ كَنزٌ أَوۡ جَاۤءَ مَعَهُۥ مَلَكٌۚ إِنَّمَاۤ أَنتَ نَذِیرࣱۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَكِیلٌ أَمۡ یَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ فَأۡتُوا۟ بِعَشۡرِ سُوَرࣲ مِّثۡلِهِۦ مُفۡتَرَیَـٰتࣲ وَٱدۡعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ فَإِلَّمۡ یَسۡتَجِیبُوا۟ لَكُمۡ فَٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّمَاۤ أُنزِلَ بِعِلۡمِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَن لَّاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ
In this Surah we have the stories of Prophets Noah, Salih, Hud, Lot, Shuaib and Moses – peace be upon them all. The basic point is that Allah sent His Prophets and Messengers to mankind out of His grace and mercy, but when people did not listen to the Prophets and rejected their message then Allah’s punishment came and came relentlessly. It did not make any difference whether someone was the son of a Prophet or his wife or any one, none could escape Allah’s judgment.
تو اے پیغمبرؐ! کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ تم اُن چیزوں میں سے کسی چیز کو (بیان کر نے سے) چھوڑ دو جو تمہاری طرف وحی کی جا رہی ہیں اور اِس بات پر دل تنگ ہو کہ وہ کہیں گے "اس شخص پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اتارا گیا" یا یہ کہ "اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہ آیا" تم تو محض خبردار کرنے والے ہو، آگے ہر چیز کا حوالہ دار اللہ ہے کیا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ پیغمبر نے یہ کتاب خود گھڑ لی ہے؟ کہو، "اچھا یہ بات ہے تو اس جیسی گھڑی ہوئی دس سورتیں تم بنا لاؤ اور اللہ کے سوا اور جو جو (تمہارے معبود) ہیں اُن کو مدد کے لیے بلا سکتے ہو تو بلا لو اگر تم (انہیں معبود سمجھنے میں) سچے ہو اب اگر وہ (تمہارے معبود) تمہاری مدد کو نہیں پہنچتے تو جان لو کہ یہ اللہ کے علم سے نازل ہوئی ہے اور یہ کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں ہے پھر کیا تم (اس امر حق کے آگے) سر تسلیم خم کر تے ہو؟"
Sections:
Seek forgiveness from Allah and His bounties will be for you.
Patience and good deeds bring the stability in character.
The story of Prophet Noah -peace be upon him.
The fate of those who disbelieved in Prophet Noah. The moving description of the fate of Prophet Noah’s son.
The Message of Prophet Hud. ‘Ad people denied Allah’s message and were punished.
The Message of Prophet Saleh, the Sign of the She-Camel, and end of Thamud.
Prophet Ibrahim receives the angles. The angels then went to Prophet Lot. The punishment of the people of Lot -peace be upon him.
Prophet Shu’aib and his message, his people’s denial and their punishment.
Prophet Moses was sent to Pharaoh and his people. The purpose of these stories.
Prophets were denied before. Continue presenting the message with patience. Had Allah forced His will upon the people, He would have made them all one people.

Quran 18:27~28

Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. None can change His Words, nor can you find any refuge besides Him. And patiently stick with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure. Do not let your eyes look beyond them, desiring the luxuries of this worldly life. And do not obey those whose hearts We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who follow ˹only˺ their desires and whose state is ˹total˺ loss. Quran 18:27~28
Al-Kahf (Arabic: الكهف, al-kahf; meaning: The Cave) is the 18th chapter (sūrah) of the Quran with 110 verses (āyāt).

There is a hadith in Sahih Muslim that states that Muhammad said (Concerning The False Messiah, Al-Masih ad-Dajjal):
“He who amongst you would survive to see him should recite over him the opening verses of Sura Kahf”
— Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Number 7015
اور اپنے رب کی کتاب سے جو تیری طرف وحی کی گئی ہے پڑھا کرو اس کی باتوں کوکوئی بدلنے والا نہیں ہے اور تو اس کے سوا کوئی پناہ کی جگہ نہیں پائے گا تو ان لوگو ں کی صحبت میں رہ جو صبح اور شام اپنے رب کو پکارتے ہیں اسی کی رضا مندی چاہتے ہیں اور تو اپنی آنکھوں کو ان سے نہ ہٹا کہ دنیا کی زندگی کی زینت تلاش کرنے لگ جائے اور اس شخص کا کہنا نہ مان جس کے دل کو ہم نے اپنی یاد سے غافل کر دیاہے اور اپنی خواہش کے تابع ہو گیا ہے اور ا سکا معاملہ حد سے گزر ا ہوا ہے
This Surah was sent down in answer to three questions which the polytheists of Makkah in consultation with the People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians) put to the Prophet. These were:
Who were ‘The Sleepers of the Cave?’
What is the real story of Khidr?
What do you know about Dhul-Qarnain?
These three questions and their stories related to the history of the Christians and the Jews and were unknown in the Arabian Peninsula (Hijaz), so they were being used to test the divine knowledge revealed to the Prophet. However, God informed the Prophet of the complete answer to these questions and also employed the stories in the conflict between Islam and unbelief.
The questioners were told that the ‘Sleepers of the Cave’ believed in the same doctrine of Monotheism (Tawhid) which was being put forward in the Qur’an and that their condition was similar to that of the persecuted Muslims of Makkah. Also, the persecutors of the Sleepers of the Cave behaved in the same way as the disbelievers of Quraysh towards the Muslims. This particular story was a warning to the chiefs of Makkah, who were persecuting the small newly formed Muslim community. Additionally, the Prophet was instructed not to compromise with the persecutors nor consider the chiefs to be more important than his own followers. Likewise, the chiefs too were admonished and informed not to be distracted by the temporary life of this world but seek the eternal life of the hereafter.

Quran 7:204~206

When the Quran is recited, listen to it attentively and be silent, so you may be shown mercy. Remember your Lord inwardly with humility and reverence and in a moderate tone of voice, both morning and evening. And do not be one of the heedless. Surely those ˹angels˺ nearest to your Lord are not too proud to worship Him. They glorify Him. And to Him they prostrate. Quran 7:204~206 PROSTRATION VERSE
The Surah is named after the story of the men awaiting on the “Elevations” between Paradise and Hell.
It comprises of 206 Ayat.

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ فَٱسۡتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥ وَأَنصِتُوا۟ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ وَٱذۡكُر رَّبَّكَ فِی نَفۡسِكَ تَضَرُّعࣰا وَخِیفَةࣰ وَدُونَ ٱلۡجَهۡرِ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡءَاصَالِ وَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡغَـٰفِلِینَ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لَا یَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَیُسَبِّحُونَهُۥ وَلَهُۥ يَسۡجُدُوۡنَ ۩
The basic theme of this Surah is Risalah, i.e. Allah’s message as it was sent through many messengers. Several Prophets and parts of their stories are mentioned to emphasize Prophets’ mission and their struggle with their people.
The Surah tells us that Allah’s Prophets suffered for the cause of truth.
Their enemies tried to harm them, but then Allah helped his prophets and defeated their enemies.
The Surah emphasizes that the true message must be presented under all circumstances.
After the Prophets it is the duty of the Believers to convey the message of Allah to all people.
اور جب قرآن پڑھا جائے تو اسے کان لگا کر سنو اور خاموش رہو کہ تم پر رحم ہو اور اپنے رب کو دل ہی دل میں عاجزی اور خوف اور پست آواز سے صبح وشام یاد کرتے رہو اور غافلوں میں نہ ہونا، بیشک وہ فرشتے جو تیرے رب کے پاس ہیں اس کی عبادت سے تکبر نہیں کرتے اور اس کی پاکی بولتے اور اسی کو سجدہ کرتے ہیں السجدة
Sections:
The Qur’an is revealed to remind the believers and to warn humankind about the consequences of their actions.
The judgment will indeed take place.
The story of Man’s creation and Satan’s opposition to Man.
Warning to the Children of Adam to be aware of Satan’s plots.
Allah’s messengers came to guide people.
The end of those who denied the message and those who accepted the message.
Cries of the wicked in the hellfire.
The righteous will prosper.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Noah – peace be upon him.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Hud- peace be upon him.
Some lessons from the story of Prophets Salih and Lot – peace be upon them.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Shu’aib – peace be upon him.
Warnings against those who deny the Prophets and Messengers of Allah.
Prophet Moses -peace be upon him- and his encounter with Pharaoh of Egypt.
Pharaoh and his magicians were defeated.
Pharaoh continued in his persecution of the Israelites.
Some more signs were shown to Pharaoh and his people.
The Torah was given to Prophet Moses- peace be upon him.
Some Israelites started Calf worship.
The Torah and Injil speak about the coming of Prophet Muhammad (saw). Allah’s promise for those who will follow the last Prophet.
Prophet Muhammad is the Universal Prophet. Some among the people of Prophet Moses were guided by the truth and lived with justice.
Some Israelites transgressed Allah’s laws and they suffered the consequences.
The eternal covenant of Allah was taken from all human beings.
The coming of the Last Hour
Shirk has no logic. Ignore the wrongdoers, but invite to Allah with kindness.
Listen to the Qur’an and always remember Allah.

Quran 7:46~47

There will be a barrier between Paradise and Hell. And on the heights ˹of that barrier˺ will be people who will recognize ˹the residents of˺ both by their appearance. They will call out to the residents of Paradise, “Peace be upon you!” They will have not yet entered Paradise, but eagerly hope to. When their eyes will turn towards the residents of Hell, they will pray, “Our Lord! Do not join us with the wrongdoing people.” Quran 7:46~47

ان دونوں (یعنی بہشت اور دوزخ) کے درمیان (اعراف نام کی) ایک دیوار ہو گی اور اعراف پر کچھ آدمی ہوں گے جو سب کو ان کی صورتوں سے پہچان لیں گے۔ تو وہ اہل بہشت کو پکار کر کہیں گے کہ تم پر سلامتی ہو۔ یہ لوگ بھی بہشت میں داخل تو نہیں ہوں گے مگر امید رکھتے ہوں گے اور جب ان کی نگاہیں پلٹ کر اہل دوزخ کی طرف جائیں گی تو عرض کریں گے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار ہم کو ظالم لوگوں کے ساتھ شامل نہ کیجیو

Prophet Muhammad is the Universal Prophet. Some among the people of Prophet Moses were guided by the truth and lived with justice.
Some Israelites transgressed Allah’s laws and they suffered the consequences.
The eternal covenant of Allah was taken from all human beings.
The coming of the Last Hour
Shirk has no logic. Ignore the wrongdoers, but invite to Allah with kindness.
Listen to the Qur’an and always remember Allah.

Quran 28:71

Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Imagine if Allah were to make the night perpetual for you until the Day of Judgment, which god other than Allah could bring you sunlight? Will you not then listen?” Quran 28:71
Surah al-Qasas [The Story] takes it name from being mentioned in [28:25],
‘Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness.
She said, “Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us.”
So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said,
“Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people.”
This Surah has 88 Ayat.

قُلۡ أَرَءَیۡتُمۡ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡكُمُ ٱلَّیۡلَ سَرۡمَدًا إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ مَنۡ إِلَـٰهٌ غَیۡرُ ٱللَّهِ یَأۡتِیكُم بِضِیَاۤءٍۚ أَفَلَا تَسۡمَعُونَ
The basic theme of this Surah is the prophethood. Some aspects of the life of Prophet Moses -peace be upon him- are mentioned to show the similarity between him and Prophet Muhammad – peace be upon all the prophets of Allah. There are also answers here to the questions and doubts that were raised by some non-believers.
اے نبیؐ، اِن سے کہو کبھی تم لوگوں نے غور کیا کہ اگر اللہ قیامت تک تم پر ہمیشہ کے لیے رات طاری کر دے تو اللہ کے سوا وہ کونسا معبود ہے جو تمہیں روشنی لا دے؟ کیا تم سُنتے نہیں ہو؟
