Quran 64:7~8 (Ayah at-Taghabun)

The disbelievers claim they will not be resurrected. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected, then you will certainly be informed of what you have done. And that is easy for Allah.”So believe in Allah and His Messenger and in the Light We have revealed. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.Quran 64:7~8Surah at-Taghabun (Mutual Disillusion)

The theme of this surah is an invitation to the Faith, obedience (to God) and the teaching of good morals, contrasting with the previous surah, Al-Munafiqun, which was concerned with hypocrisy and the lack of Iman. The Surah invites to faith, obedience of Allah and good morals. It warns about the evil consequences of misdeeds and about the coming of the Day of Judgment when the real success or loss will be manifest.

Quran 18:30~31

As for those who believe and do good, We certainly never deny the reward of those who are best in deeds. It is they who will have the Gardens of Eternity, with rivers flowing under their feet. There they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and wear green garments of fine silk and rich brocade, reclining there on ˹canopied˺ couches. What a marvellous reward! And what a fabulous place to rest!Quran 18:30~31 Surah al-Kahf (The Cave)

The Surah answers some questions that the Mushrikin of Makkah posed to the Prophet (saw). The answers came in a very clear way and also challenged them to accept the message of Islam. In this Surah we have the stories of: the People of the Cave, the man who had two gardens and was very proud of himself, Prophet Moses with a special teacher, Dhul-Qarnain a pious ruler. These stories are told to emphasize the value of faith, knowledge and patience and the relativity of time.

Quran 7:154~156

When Moses’ anger subsided, he took up the Tablets whose text contained guidance and mercy for those who stand in awe of their Lord.Moses chose seventy men from among his people for Our appointment and, when they were seized by an earthquake, he cried, continued….
The Surah is named after the story of the men awaiting on the “Elevations” between Paradise and Hell.
“My Lord! Had You willed, You could have destroyed them long ago, and me as well. Will You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is only a test from You—by which You allow whoever you will to stray and guide whoever You will. You are our Guardian. So forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best forgiver.Ordain for us what is good in this life and the next. Indeed, we have turned to You ˹in repentance˺.”continued….
It comprises of 206 Ayat.
Allah replied, “I will inflict My torment on whoever I will. But My mercy encompasses everything. I will ordain mercy for those who shun evil, pay alms-tax, and believe in Our revelations.Quran 7:154~156Surah al-A`raf (The Elevated Places)

The basic theme of this Surah is Risalah, i.e. Allah’s message as it was sent through many messengers. Several Prophets and parts of their stories are mentioned to emphasize Prophets’ mission and their struggle with their people.
۞

The Surah tells us that Allah’s Prophets suffered for the cause of truth. Their enemies tried to harm them, but then Allah helped his prophets and defeated their enemies. The Surah emphasizes that the true message must be presented under all circumstances. After the Prophets it is the duty of the Believers to convey the message of Allah to all people.

Al-A’raf – The Elevations.

Allah mentions Paradise and Hellfire and then speaks of the ‘elevations’ between them reserved for some amongst humanity.

These people not knowing what will happen to them.
