Hadees: Muslim 2628

Abu Musa reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one (iron-smith) blowing bellows, and the owner of musk would either offer you free of charge or you would buy it from him or you would smell its pleasant odour, and so far as one who blows the bellows is concerned, he would either burn your clothes or you shall have to smell its repugnant smell.Hadees: Muslim 2628, 1779, 6361Chapter: The Book of Virtue, Enjoining Good Manners, and Joining of the Ties of Kinship

حَدَّثَنَا، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى،
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْجَلِيسِ الصَّالِحِ وَالْجَلِيسِ السَّوْءِ
كَحَامِلِ الْمِسْكِ وَنَافِخِ الْكِيرِ

فَحَامِلُ الْمِسْكِ
إِمَّا أَنْ يُحْذِيَكَ
وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَبْتَاعَ مِنْهُ
وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَجِدَ مِنْهُ رِيحًا طَيِّبَةً وَنَافِخُ الْكِيرِ
إِمَّا أَنْ يُحْرِقَ ثِيَابَكَ
وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَجِدَ رِيحًا خَبِيثَةً ‏"‏ ‏.

ابوموسی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
اللہ کے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا:

"اچھے ہم نشیں اور برے ہم نشیں کی مثال بعینہ ایسی ہی ہے جیسے کہ
عطر فروش اور بھٹی پھونکنے والا۔

عطر فروش
یا تو تمہیں عطر تحفے میں دے دے گا
یا پھر تم اس سے عطر خرید لو گے
یا ( کم از کم )تمہیں اس سے خوشبو
تو آئے گی ہی۔

جب کہ بھٹی میں پھونکنے والا
یا تو تمہارے کپڑے جلا ڈالے گا
یا پھر تمہیں اس سے بدبو آئے گی۔"

Hadees : Ibn-e-Majah 4259

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “I was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and a man from among the Ansar came to him and greeted the Prophet (ﷺ) with Salam. Then he said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is best?’ He said: ‘He who has the best manners among them.’ He said: ‘Which of them is wisest?’ He said: ‘The one who remembers death the most and is best in preparing for it. Those are the wisest.’Hadees : Ibn Majah 4259

حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ،
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏:
‏ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏:‏
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَفْضَلُ
قَالَ ‏:‏ ‏
"‏ أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
قَالَ فَأَىُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَكْيَسُ
قَالَ ‏:‏ ‏
"‏ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْمَوْتِ ذِكْرًا وَأَحْسَنُهُمْ لِمَا بَعْدَهُ اسْتِعْدَادًا أُولَئِكَ الأَكْيَاسُ ‏"

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھا کہ آپ کے پاس ایک انصاری شخص آیا، اس نے آپ کو سلام کیا، پھر کہنے لگا:
اللہ کے رسول! مومنوں میں سے کون سب سے بہتر ہے؟
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا
جو ان میں سب سے اچھے اخلاق والا ہے ،
اس نے کہا:
ان میں سب سے عقلمند کون ہے؟
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو ان میں موت کو سب سے زیادہ یاد کرے، اور موت کے بعد کی زندگی کے لیے سب سے اچھی تیاری کرے، وہی عقلمند ہے ۔
