Quran 42:27

Had Allah given abundant provisions to ˹all˺ His servants, they would have certainly transgressed throughout the land. But He sends down whatever He wills in perfect measure. He is truly All-Aware, All-Seeing of His servants. Quran 42:28 Surah ash-Shura (The Counsel)
The Surah takes its name from the Ayat,
وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
“And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend.” (42:38).

۞ وَلَوۡ بَسَطَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ لَبَغَوۡا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَـٰكِن یُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرࣲ مَّا یَشَاۤءُۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِیرُۢ بَصِیرࣱ
The Surah emphasizes that the message of the Qur’an is from Allah Who revealed similar messages to other Prophets and Messengers. The religion of Allah has been the same throughout history.
If Allah wanted He would have made all people into one Ummah, but He has given freedom to people to make their own choice by their free will.
Allah will judge all people on the Day of Judgment. In the Surah it is also mentioned that the followers of this message are those who avoid major sins and who manage their affairs with mutual consultation.
اور اگر خدا اپنے بندوں کے لئے رزق میں فراخی کردیتا تو زمین میں فساد کرنے لگتے۔ لیکن وہ جو چیز چاہتا ہے اندازے کے ساتھ نازل کرتا ہے۔ بےشک وہ اپنے بندوں کو جانتا اور دیکھتا ہے
Sections:
Allah revealed His message to His Prophets. The purpose of revelation is to warn people about the Day of Judgment. Had Allah willed, He would have forced all people into one Ummah, but the wrong-does will see the consequences of their deeds.
The judgment is in the hand of Allah. He gave the same religion to all His Prophets. Muslims must invite people to Allah.
Allah deals justly with all people. Allah accepts the repentance. Allah’s mercy is manifest in the universe.
Believers should avoid sins, be patient, work with each other in consultation and practice forgiveness.
The Prophet guides to the right path, the path of Allah.

Quran 87:1~5

Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who created and ˹perfectly˺ fashioned ˹all˺, and Who ordained precisely and inspired accordingly, and Who brings forth ˹green˺ pasture, then reduces it to withered chaff. . Quran 87:1~5 al-A`la (The Most High)
The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى
“Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,” [87:1]

۞ سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ وَٱلَّذِی قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ وَٱلَّذِیۤ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَاۤءً أَحۡوَىٰ
The Surah speaks about the praise of Allah the Most High. He created everything. He created the human being and gave him capacity to make progress. Man can make progress if he obeys Allah’s rules. The Qur’an is the message from Allah and He will guard it. The Prophet should continue giving the message to others. Those who accept it will benefit from it, but those who will reject it they will be the losers. It talks about the ‘Akhirah and that this message is the same that was given to Prophets Ibrahim and Moses.
(اے نبیؐ) اپنے رب برتر کے نام کی تسبیح کرو جس نے پیدا کیا اور تناسب قائم کیا جس نے تقدیر بنائی پھر راہ دکھائی جس نے نباتات اگائیں پھر اُن کو خشک سیاہ کردیا
This short Surah contains three themes. Monotheism (Tawhid), instructions to the Prophet and the Hereafter. In the first verse, the doctrine of Monotheism has been compressed into a single sentence, saying that God’s name should be glorified and exalted, i.e. He should not be remembered by any name which might reflect a deficiency, fault, weakness, or an aspect of likeness, with created beings, for the root of all false creeds in the world are wrong concepts about God, which assumed the form of an erroneous name for His glorious and exalted Being. Therefore, for the correction of the creed, the primary thing is that God Almighty should be remembered only by the beautiful names which suit and befit Him. In the next three verses, it has been said: “Your Lord, glorification of Whose name is being enjoined, is He Who created everything in the Universe, proportioned it, set it a destiny, taught it to perform the function for which it is created, you witness this manifestation of His power day and night, that He creates vegetation on the earth as well as reduces it to mere rubbish. No other being has the power to bring about spring nor the power to prevent autumn.”
Then, in the following two verses, the Prophet is being consoled, “Do not worry as to how you will remember word for word the Qur’an that is being revealed to you. It is for Us to preserve it in your memory, and its preservation is not in any way the result of any excellence in you but the result of Our bounty and favour, otherwise if We so will, We can cause you to forget it.”
Then, the Prophet has been told: “You have not been made responsible to bring everyone on to the right path; your only duty is to convey the truth, and the simplest way of conveying the truth is that admonition be given to him who is inclined to listen to the admonition and accept it, and the one who is not inclined to it, should not be pursued. The one who fears the evil consequences of deviation and falsehood, will listen to the truth and accept it, and the wretched one who avoids listening to and accepting it, will himself see his evil end.”
The discourse has been summed up, saying: “Success is only for those who adopt purity of belief, morals and deed, and remember the name of their Lord and perform the Prayer.
But, on the contrary, the people are wholly lost in seeking the ease, benefits and pleasures of the world, whereas they should actually endeavor for their well being in the Hereafter, for the world is transitory and the Hereafter everlasting and the blessings of the Hereafter are far better than the blessings of the world. This truth has not been expressed only in the Qur’an but in the books of the Prophets Abraham and Moses too, it had been brought to the notice of man.

Quran 6:161~162

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Surely my Lord has guided me to the Straight Path, a perfect way, the faith of Abraham, the upright, who was not one of the polytheists.” Say, “Surely my prayer, my worship, my life, and my death are all for Allah— Lord of all worlds. Quran: 6:161~162 [al-An`am (Cattle, Livestock)]
The name of the chapter [006] is al-An’am [Cattle] and it consists of 165 Verses.
قُلۡ إِنَّنِی هَدَىٰنِی رَبِّیۤ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ دِینࣰا قِیَمࣰا مِّلَّةَ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ حَنِیفࣰاۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِی وَنُسُكِی وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِی لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ
In this Surah the message of Tawhid is highly emphasized. It contains basic principles of Tawhid. It gives beautiful descriptions of Allah’s creative power. It criticizes Shirk and its manifestations. Basic topics discussed here are:
Oneness of Allah is the reality in this universe.
Polytheism has no foundation.
Prophet Ibrahim – peace be upon him – preached Tawhid. Other Prophets also gave the same message.
Allah’s judgment will come and the truth will prevail.
Allah gives right guidance about food and other matters of life.
اے محمدؐ! کہہ دو کہ مجھے میرے پروردگار نے سیدھا رستہ دکھا دیا ہے (یعنی دین صحیح) مذہب ابراہیم کا جو ایک (خدا) ہی کی طرف کے تھے اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے (یہ بھی) کہہ دو اے محمدؐ! کہ میری نماز اور میری عبادت اور میرا جینا اور میرا مرنا سب خدائے رب العالمین ہی کے لیے ہے
Sections:
Allah created the heaven and earth but the non-believers call others equal to Allah.
Allah’s punishment came upon those who denied the truth.
On the Day of Judgment the Mushrikin will admit their guilt.
Those who deny the Hereafter they are the real losers. Non-believers ridiculed Allah’s Prophets, but in the end the truth prevailed.
Nations were warned before. Allah did try them in various ways.
Believers should be respected
Allah is the Final judge and He will decide the destiny of the individuals or nations.
Allah’s majesty, power and might
Prophet Ibrahim’s arguments against Shirk.
Other Prophets also gave the message of Tawhid.
Allah’s revelation to His Prophets.
Allah’s signs in the creation.
Allah has no partner, no son.
Arrogance of the non-believers and their opposition to the Prophets. Do not eat the animals slaughtered in the name of any one other than Allah.
Those who plot against Allah, they suffer themselves.

Quran 16:81~83

And Allah has provided you shade out of what He created, and has given you shelter in the mountains. He has also provided you with clothes protecting you from the heat ˹and cold˺, and armour shielding you in battle. This is how He perfects His favour upon you, so perhaps you will ˹fully˺ submit ˹to Him˺. But if they turn away, then your duty ˹O Prophet˺ is only to deliver ˹the message˺ clearly. They are aware of Allah’s favours, but still deny them. And most of them are ˹truly˺ ungrateful. Quran: 16:81~83 [ an-Nahl (The Bee) ]
The surah takes its name from Ayat no. 68,
“And your Lord inspired to the bee,
“Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.”
It is also referred to as the surah of blessings as it contains many of the blessings of Allah upon mankind.
There are 128 Ayat in this Surah.

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَـٰلࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ أَكۡنَـٰنࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ سَرَ ٰبِیلَ تَقِیكُمُ ٱلۡحَرَّ وَسَرَ ٰبِیلَ تَقِیكُم بَأۡسَكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ یُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُونَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ یَعۡرِفُونَ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ یُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ
The Surah speaks about Allah’s creative power. Everything in the universe points to Allah. There is coherence and balance in Allah’s creation.
اور خدا ہی نے تمہارے (آرام کے) لیے اپنی پیدا کی ہوئی چیزوں کے سائے بنائے اور پہاڑوں میں غاریں بنائیں اور کُرتے بنائے جو تم کو گرمی سے بچائیں۔ اور (ایسے) کُرتے (بھی) جو تم کو اسلحہ جنگ (کے ضرر) سے محفوظ رکھیں۔ اسی طرح خدا اپنا احسان تم پر پورا کرتا ہے تاکہ تم فرمانبردار بنو اور اگر یہ لوگ اعتراض کریں تو (اے پیغمبر) تمہارا کام فقط کھول کر سنا دینا ہے یہ خدا کی نعمتوں سے واقف ہیں۔ مگر (واقف ہو کر) اُن سے انکار کرتے ہیں اور یہ اکثر ناشکرے ہیں
Sections:
The whole creation points to Allah.
The truth is that there is only One God.
The reward of the righteous and the disgrace of the wicked.
Allah’s message has come. Man is a creature of Allah, but he argues a lot.
Mushrikin’s argument and the answer
Prophets were human beings. The mission of the last Prophet. Warnings to non-believers.
Prohibition against shirk. Arabs used to call angels the daughters of Allah but they themselves did not like to have daughters.
Allah gives time to people to repent and turn to him.
Consider the bounties of Allah. Some more signs mentioned.
The comparison between the faithful and the unfaithful.
Warnings about the Last Hour. Allah’s favors to humankind.
Prophet Muhammad is a witness over all witnesses.
Justice, benevolence, care of the kith and kin are Allah’s commands. He forbids shameful deeds, evil and aggression.
Qur’an is sent by Allah; even the Prophet cannot make any changes in it.
Every soul will be paid in full what it has earned. Halal and Haram are the authority of Allah.
The ideal faith of Prophet Ibrahim. The best way of giving da’wah.

Quran 27:71~75

They ask ˹the believers˺, “When will this threat come to pass, if what you say is true?” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Perhaps some of what you seek to hasten is close at hand.” Surely your Lord is ever Bountiful to humanity, but most of them are ungrateful. And surely your Lord knows what their hearts conceal and what they reveal. For there is nothing hidden in the heavens or the earth without being ˹written˺ in a perfect Record. Quran 27:71~75
Surah Naml is named after ‘the Ant’ mentioned in (27:18).
This is the only mention of ‘the Ant’ in the whole of the Qur’an.
There are 93 Ayat in this Surah.

وَیَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ قُلۡ عَسَىٰۤ أَن یَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعۡضُ ٱلَّذِی تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا یَشۡكُرُونَ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَیَعۡلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمۡ وَمَا یُعۡلِنُونَ وَمَا مِنۡ غَاۤىِٕبَةࣲ فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا فِی كِتَـٰبࣲ مُّبِینٍ
The theme of the Surah is divine guidance in history.
Allah sent His Prophets to different people. Some accepted them and were guided,
while others denied them and they saw the consequences of their denial.
The Surah also contrasts between the principles of Tawhid and shirk.
اور کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو یہ وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا؟ کہہ دو کہ جس (عذاب) کے لئے تم جلدی کر رہے ہو شاید اس میں سے کچھ تمہارے نزدیک آپہنچا ہو اور تمہارا پروردگار تو لوگوں پر فضل کرنے والا ہے لیکن ان میں سے اکثر شکر نہیں کرتے اور جو باتیں ان کے سینوں میں پوشیدہ ہوتی ہیں اور جو کام وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں تمہارا پروردگار ان (سب) کو جانتا ہے اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں کوئی پوشیدہ چیز نہیں ہے مگر (وہ) کتاب روشن میں (لکھی ہوئی) ہے
Sections:
The Qur’an is from the All Wise and All-knower. How did Prophet Moses received the message of Allah. Allah gave Moses many signs but Pharaoh and his people denied them.
The knowledge and power that Allah bestowed on Prophets David and Solomon. What kind of character they had.
Queen of Saba’ and her submission to Prophet Solomon.
The response of Thamud to Prophet Saleh’s message. Also the example of the people among whom Prophet Lot was sent.
The contrast between the tawhid and shirk. Allah or the so-called gods of Shirk.
The surety of Resurrection.

Quran 24:35

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche in which there is a lamp, the lamp is in a crystal, the crystal is like a shining star, lit from ˹the oil of˺ a blessed olive tree, ˹located˺ neither to the east nor the west, whose oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light ! Allah guides whoever He wills to His light. And Allah sets forth parables for humanity. For Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things. Quran 24:35
Surah an-Nur [The Light] takes its name after the Ayat, اللَّـهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ “Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth….” [24:35].
The word Nur [light] is mentioned 7 times in this Surah, mentioned more times than in any other Surah of the Qur’an.
The Surah has 64 Ayat.

ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشۡكَوٰةࣲ فِیهَا مِصۡبَاحٌۖ ٱلۡمِصۡبَاحُ فِی زُجَاجَةٍۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوۡكَبࣱ دُرِّیࣱّ یُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةࣲ مُّبَـٰرَكَةࣲ زَیۡتُونَةࣲ لَّا شَرۡقِیَّةࣲ وَلَا غَرۡبِیَّةࣲ یَكَادُ زَیۡتُهَا یُضِیۤءُ وَلَوۡ لَمۡ تَمۡسَسۡهُ نَارࣱۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورࣲۚ یَهۡدِی ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَیَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣱ
This Surah contains many rules for the development of a society based on righteousness and morality. It talks about male-female relations, rules of proper dress for Muslim women, rules for the punishment of adultery and punishment of those who accuse others of adultery or fornication.
خدا آسمانوں اور زمین کا نور ہے۔ اس کے نور کی مثال ایسی ہے کہ گویا ایک طاق ہے جس میں چراغ ہے۔ اور چراغ ایک قندیل میں ہے۔ اور قندیل (ایسی صاف شفاف ہے کہ) گویا موتی کا سا چمکتا ہوا تارہ ہے اس میں ایک مبارک درخت کا تیل جلایا جاتا ہے (یعنی) زیتون کہ نہ مشرق کی طرف ہے نہ مغرب کی طرف۔ (ایسا معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ) اس کا تیل خواہ آگ اسے نہ بھی چھوئے جلنے کو تیار ہے (پڑی) روشنی پر روشنی (ہو رہی ہے) خدا اپنے نور سے جس کو چاہتا ہے سیدھی راہ دکھاتا ہے۔ اور خدا نے (جو مثالیں) بیان فرماتا ہے (تو) لوگوں کے (سمجھانے کے) لئے اور خدا ہر چیز سے واقف ہے
Sections:
Punishment of adultery. Rules of testimony in the case of adultery.
The false rumors against Sayyidah ‘Aisha – may Allah be pleased with her.
Beware of those who slander pious chaste women.
Rules about entering others homes, proper dress, help those who are single to get married.
The light of Allah and the struggle between light and darkness.
Everything in the heaven and earth glorifies Allah.
Believers must obey Allah and His messenger. Allah’s promise to the Believers to establish them in the land.
Rules of privacy for men and women, at home and outside.
Special respect of the Prophet and Believers’ duties towards him.

Quran 3:113~115

Yet they are not all alike: there are some among the People of the Book who are upright, who recite Allah’s revelations throughout the night, prostrating ˹in prayer˺. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, encourage good and forbid evil, and race with one another in doing good. They are ˹truly˺ among the righteous. They will never be denied the reward for any good they have done. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of those mindful ˹of Him˺. Quran 3:113~115
Al Imran (Arabic: آل عمران, āl ʿimrān; meaning: The Family of Imran) is the third chapter (sūrah) of the Quran with two hundred verses (āyāt).

لَیۡسُوا۟ سَوَاۤءࣰۗ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ أُمَّةࣱ قَاۤىِٕمَةࣱ یَتۡلُونَ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ءَانَاۤءَ ٱلَّیۡلِ وَهُمۡ یَسۡجُدُونَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡءَاخِرِ وَیَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَیَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَیُسَـٰرِعُونَ فِی ٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰتِۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ وَمَا یَفۡعَلُوا۟ مِنۡ خَیۡرࣲ فَلَن یُكۡفَرُوهُۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمُۢ بِٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ
It is named after Ale-Imran ‘the family of Imran’ – Imran being the grandfather of Jesus [Isa], and the father of Mary [Maryam]. Other than this Surah, Imran is not mentioned in the rest of the Qur’an with the exception of Surah 66: at-Tahreem – ‘Maryam daughter of Imran’ [66:12].
Zahra – The Prophet is reported to have called al-Baqarah and Ale-Imran as ‘Zahrawayn’ [Two Lights (of guidance)]
یہ بھی سب ایک جیسے نہیں ہیں ان اہلِ کتاب میں کچھ لوگ (حکمِ خدا پر) قائم بھی ہیں جو رات کے وقت خدا کی آیتیں پڑھتے اور (اس کے آگے) سجدہ کرتے ہیں (اور) خدا پر اور روز آخرت پر ایمان رکھتے اور اچھے کام کرنےکو کہتے اور بری باتوں سے منع کرتے اور نیکیوں پر لپکتے ہیں اور یہی لوگ نیکوکار ہیں اور یہ جس طرح کی نیکی کریں گے اس کی ناقدری نہیں کی جائے گی اور خدا پرہیزگاروں کو خوب جانتا ہے
The main topics of this Surah are Tawhid, Prophethood and the truth of the Qur’ an. As Surah al-Baqarah discussed the issues related to Bani Israel, this Surah discusses some issues related to the Christian community and their religious positions. It also discusses the subjects of Hajj, Jihad, Zakat and Riba. It ends, like Surah al-Baqarah, with a profound dua.

Quran 59:23

He is Allah—there is no god except Him: the King, the Most Holy, the All-Perfect, the Source of Serenity, the Watcher ˹of all˺, the Almighty, the Supreme in Might, the Majestic. Glorified is Allah far above what they associate with Him ˹in worship˺! Quran 59:23
The Surah takes its name from the second Ayat, هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ ۚ “It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering…..” [59:2]
There are 24 Ayat in this Surah.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
The Surah talks about the banishment of Bani Nadhir and secret relations between them and the hypocrites of Madinah. It exhorts the Believers to be firm in their faith in Allah and gives some of the Beautiful Names of Allah.
وہ اللہ ہی ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ بادشاہ ہے نہایت مقدس، سراسر سلامتی، امن دینے والا، نگہبان، سب پر غالب، اپنا حکم بزور نافذ کرنے والا، اور بڑا ہی ہو کر رہنے والا پاک ہے اللہ اُس شرک سے جو لوگ کر رہے ہیں

Quran 58:7

Do you not see that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth? If three converse privately, He is their fourth. If five, He is their sixth. Whether fewer or more, He is with them wherever they may be. Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will inform them of what they have done. Surely Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things. Quran 58:7

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَوَتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ مَا يَكُونُ مِن نَّجْوَىٰ ثَلَثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَآ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ذَلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ ۖ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ‎ ‎
The Surah talks about a bad social custom by which husbands in pre-Islamic times used to oppress their wives. Some one would call his wife “mother” and thus would separate from her, but would not give her the divorce. Allah condemned this custom. The Surah also speaks about the hypocrites and other non-Muslim groups in Madinah who were involved in spreading rumors against the Prophet (saw). They are given warnings here and Muslims are urged to be alert and careful.
کیا تم کو معلوم نہیں کہ جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے خدا کو سب معلوم ہے۔ (کسی جگہ) تین (شخصوں) کا (مجمع اور) کانوں میں صلاح ومشورہ نہیں ہوتا مگر وہ ان میں چوتھا ہوتا ہے اور نہ کہیں پانچ کا مگر وہ ان میں چھٹا ہوتا ہے اور نہ اس سے کم یا زیادہ مگر وہ ان کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے خواہ وہ کہیں ہوں۔ پھر جو جو کام یہ کرتے رہے ہیں قیامت کے دن وہ (ایک ایک) ان کو بتائے گا۔ بےشک خدا ہر چیز سے واقف ہے
Sections:
The custom of Zihar is condemned. The rights of women should be protected.
Allah is aware of the secret counsels of the hypocrites. Believers should not involve in such activities. The rules of gatherings in Islam.
Be aware of the internal enemies also. Do not take as patrons those who are the enemies of Allah and His Messenger.
