Quran 64:2~4 (Ayah at-Taghabun)

He is the One Who created you, yet some of you are disbelievers while some are believers. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. He created the heavens and the earth for a purpose. He shaped you ˹in the womb˺, perfecting your form. And to Him is the final return. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And He knows whatever you conceal and whatever you reveal. For Allah knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart. Quran 64:2~4 Surah at-Taghabun (Mutual Disillusion,)
At-Taghābun (Arabic: التغابن, “Loss, Deprivation”) is the 64th surah of the Quran with 18 verses

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنكُمۡ كَافِرࣱ وَمِنكُم مُّؤۡمِنࣱۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِیرٌ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡۖ وَإِلَیۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
The theme of this surah is an invitation to the Faith, obedience (to God) and the teaching of good morals, contrasting with the previous surah, Al-Munafiqun, which was concerned with hypocrisy and the lack of Iman.
وہی ہے جس نے تم کو پیدا کیا، پھر تم میں سے کوئی کافر ہے اور کوئی مومن، اور اللہ وہ سب کچھ دیکھ رہا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو اس نے زمین اور آسمانوں کو برحق پیدا کیا ہے، اور تمہاری صورت بنائی اور بڑی عمدہ بنائی ہے، اور اسی کی طرف آخرکار تمہیں پلٹنا ہے زمین اور آسمانوں کی ہر چیز کا اسے علم ہے جو کچھ تم چھپاتے ہو اور جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے ہو سب اس کو معلوم ہے، اور وہ دلوں کا حال تک جانتا ہے
The Surah invites to faith, obedience of Allah and good morals. It warns about the evil consequences of misdeeds and about the coming of the Day of Judgment when the real success or loss will be manifest.
Sections:
Allah created human beings, some among them are believers and some non-believers. He knows everything. He sent His Prophets to warn and remind. Remember the Day of Judgment.
Believe in Allah, purify your motives and be generous in giving for the cause of Allah.

Quran 53:33~42 (Ayah an-Najm)

Have you seen the one who turned away ˹from Islam,˺and ˹initially˺ paid a little ˹for his salvation˺, and then stopped? Does he have the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees ˹the Hereafter˺? Or has he not been informed of what is in the Scripture of Moses, and ˹that of˺ Abraham, who ˹perfectly˺ fulfilled ˹his covenant˺? ˹They state˺ that no soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another, and that each person will only have what they endeavoured towards, and that ˹the outcome of˺ their endeavours will be seen ˹in their record˺, then they will be fully rewarded, and that to your Lord ˹alone˺ is the ultimate return ˹of all things˺. Quran 53:33~42 Surah an-Najm (The Star)
This Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ “By the star when it descends,” (53:1).

أَفَرَءَیۡتَ ٱلَّذِی تَوَلَّىٰ وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِیلࣰا وَأَكۡدَىٰۤ أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ فَهُوَ یَرَىٰۤ أَمۡ لَمۡ یُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِی صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ ٱلَّذِی وَفَّىٰۤ أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ وَأَن لَّیۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ وَأَنَّ سَعۡیَهُۥ سَوۡفَ یُرَىٰ ثُمَّ یُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَاۤءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ
The Surah talks about the eminence of the Prophet (saw) with his Mi’raj and closeness to Allah. It warns the disbelievers about the errors of their attitude towards the Qur’an and the Prophet of Allah. Some of their wrong beliefs in the angels as daughters of God, intercession of the angels etc. are also mentioned.
بھلا تم نے اس شخص کو دیکھا جس نے منہ پھیر لیا اور تھوڑا سا دیا (پھر) ہاتھ روک لیا کیا اس کے پاس غیب کا علم ہے کہ وہ اس کو دیکھ رہا ہے کیا جو باتیں موسیٰ کے صحیفوں میں ہیں ان کی اس کو خبر نہیں پہنچی اور ابراہیمؑ کی جنہوں نے (حق طاعت ورسالت) پورا کیا یہ کہ کوئی شخص دوسرے (کے گناہ) کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا اور یہ کہ انسان کو وہی ملتا ہے جس کی وہ کوشش کرتا ہے اور یہ کہ اس کی کوشش دیکھی جائے گی پھر اس کو اس کا پورا پورا بدلا دیا جائے گا اور یہ کہ تمہارے پروردگار ہی کے پاس پہنچنا ہے
Sections:
The Mi’raj experience of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). Gods or goddesses of the non-believers are mere conjectures and names without any reality.
The angels are the servants of Allah. No intercession can work against Allah. Allah is most forgiving, but He requires righteousness.
Those who deny the truth they are standing against the power and majesty of Allah.

Quran 13:33~34 (Ayah ar – Ra`d)

Is ˹there any equal to˺ the Vigilant One Who knows what every soul commits? Yet the pagans have associated others with Allah ˹in worship˺. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Name them! Or do you ˹mean to˺ inform Him of something He does not know on the earth? Or are these ˹gods˺ just empty words?” In fact, the disbelievers’ falsehood has been made so appealing to them that they have been turned away from the Path. And whoever Allah leaves to stray will be left with no guide. For them is punishment in this worldly life, but the punishment of the Hereafter is truly far worse. And none can shield them from Allah. Quran 13:33~34 Surah ar - Ra`d (The Thunder)
The word ar-Ra’d (thunder), which this Surah is named after, is used in the 13th Surah of the Qur’an, in the 13th Juzz and is the 13th Ayat.
This Surah has 43 Ayaat.

The basic theme of the Surah is divine guidance.
Allah has created this whole universe.
He knows what is in the wombs and every thing is under His knowledge.
He sent His prophets and guides to all people for their guidance
and now the Last Messenger has come.
تو کیا جو (خدا) ہر متنفس کے اعمال کا نگراں (ونگہباں) ہے (وہ بتوں کی طرح بےعلم وبےخبر ہوسکتا ہے) اور ان لوگوں نے خدا کے شریک مقرر کر رکھے ہیں۔ ان سے کہو کہ (ذرا) ان کے نام تو لو۔ کیا تم اسے ایسی چیزیں بتاتے ہو جس کو وہ زمین میں (کہیں بھی) معلوم نہیں کرتا یا (محض) ظاہری (باطل اور جھوٹی) بات کی (تقلید کرتے ہو) اصل یہ ہے کہ کافروں کو ان کے فریب خوبصورت معلوم ہوتے ہیں۔ اور وہ (ہدایت کے) رستے سے روک لیے گئے ہیں۔ اور جسے خدا گمراہ کرے اسے کوئی ہدایت کرنے والا نہیں ان کو دنیا کی زندگی میں بھی عذاب ہے اور آخرت کا عذاب تو بہت ہی سخت ہے۔ اور ان کو خدا (کے عذاب سے) کوئی بھی بچانے والا نہیں
Sections:
Allah’s signs in nature.
Allah knows everything; the whole universe praises Him. Those who have eyes can see the truth. The truth has an abiding power.
The faithful and unfaithful, their characters and their ends.
The comfort of the hearts is in the remembrance of Allah. Those who deny Allah, no signs or miracles can help them.
People in the past also denied Allah’s Prophets and laughed at them, but what were their ends.
Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. The witness is Allah and all those who have the knowledge of the Scriptures of Allah.

Quran 9:122 (Ayah at-Taubah)

˹However,˺ it is not necessary for the believers to march forth all at once. Only a party from each group should march forth, leaving the rest to gain religious knowledge then enlighten their people when they return to them, so that they ˹too˺ may beware ˹of evil˺. Quran: 9:122 Surah at-Taubah (Repentance)
The name of the surah, at-Taubah is derived from ت و ب and it occurs 87 times in the Quran. Interestingly, this surah has the highest usage of the words derived from ت و ب compared to all other surahs – it is used 17 times.
In Ayat 118, occurs the case of the three companions whom Allah turned to and accepted their tawbah to Him – those who had abstained from joining the Jihad at the Battle of Tabuk.

۞ وَمَا كَانَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ لِیَنفِرُوا۟ كَاۤفَّةࣰۚ فَلَوۡلَا نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرۡقَةࣲ مِّنۡهُمۡ طَاۤىِٕفَةࣱ لِّیَتَفَقَّهُوا۟ فِی ٱلدِّینِ وَلِیُنذِرُوا۟ قَوۡمَهُمۡ إِذَا رَجَعُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَحۡذَرُونَ
This is the only Sūrah of the Qur’ān to which ‘In the Name of God, Most Gracious Most Merciful’ is not prefixed. Though the commentators have given different reasons for this, the correct one that which has been given by Imām Razi: namely this is because the Prophet himself did not dictate it at the beginning of the Sūrah. Therefore the Companions did not prefix it and their successors followed them. This is a further proof of the fact that utmost care has been taken to keep the Qur’ān intact so that it should remain in its complete and original form.
اور یہ کچھ ضروری نہ تھا کہ اہل ایمان سارے کے سارے ہی نکل کھڑے ہوتے، مگر ایسا کیوں نہ ہوا کہ ان کی آبادی کے ہر حصہ میں سے کچھ لوگ نکل کر آتے اور دین کی سمجھ پیدا کرتے اور واپس جا کر اپنے علاقے کے باشندوں کو خبردار کرتے تاکہ وہ (غیر مسلمانہ روش سے) پرہیز کرتے
The basic subjects of the Surah are: The non-believers who broke their treaties, Muslims have no obligation to honor treaties with them. Muslims must protect themselves from hypocrisy, weak faith and negligence. Battle of Tabuk and its lessons.
Sections:
Proclamation that the Treaty of Hudaibiyah is cancelled.
Honor the treaties with those who honor them. Fight with those who have broken the treaty.
Mushrikin are forbidden to be the caretakers of the Masjid al-Haram.
Muslims should trust Allah, not just their numbers.
Jews and Christians also committed Shirk. Command to spend in the path of Allah. The correct number of months.
The Tabuk expedition.
Those who stayed behind and did not participate in the Battle of Tabuk, hypocrites and weak in faith.
The proper distribution of charity. Those who speak ill of the Prophet or make fun of Allah and His Book.
The hypocrite men and women.

Quran 9:113-115

It is not ˹proper˺ for the Prophet and the believers to seek forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were close relatives, after it has become clear to the believers that they are bound for the Hellfire. As for Abraham’s prayer for his father’s forgiveness, it was only in fulfilment of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to Abraham that his father was an enemy of Allah, he broke ties with him. Abraham was truly tender-hearted, forbearing. Allah would never consider a people deviant after He has guided them, until He makes clear to them what they must avoid. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything. پیغمبر اور مسلمانوں کو شایاں نہیں کہ جب ان پر ظاہر ہوگیا کہ مشرک اہل دوزخ ہیں۔ تو ان کے لیے بخشش مانگیں گو وہ ان کے قرابت دار ہی ہوں اور ابراہیم کا اپنے باپ کے لیے بخشش مانگنا تو ایک وعدے کا سبب تھا جو وہ اس سے کر چکے تھے۔ لیکن جب ان کو معلوم ہوگیا کہ وہ خدا کا دشمن ہے تو اس سے بیزار ہوگئے۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ ابراہیم بڑے نرم دل اور متحمل تھے اور خدا ایسا نہیں کہ کسی قوم کو ہدایت دینے کے بعد گمراہ کر دے جب تک کہ ان کو وہ چیز نہ بتا دے جس سے وہ پرہیز کریں۔ بےشک خدا ہر چیز سے واقف ہے

Quran 41:40

Those who twist and distort Our verses are, of course, not unknown to Us. So then, who will fare better on the Day of Judgment? The one flung in the hellfire? Or the one who arrives safe and secure (into paradise)? Do what you want. Of course, He watches (and knows) whatever you do. Quran 41:40 Surah Fussilat (Explained in Detail, Revelations Well Expounded)
The Surah is known as ‘Fussilat’ and ‘Haa Meem as-Sajdah’. There are 54 Ayat in this Surah.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُلۡحِدُونَ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِنَا لَا یَخۡفَوۡنَ عَلَیۡنَاۤۗ أَفَمَن یُلۡقَىٰ فِی ٱلنَّارِ خَیۡرٌ أَم مَّن یَأۡتِیۤ ءَامِنࣰا یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۚ ٱعۡمَلُوا۟ مَا شِئۡتُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِیرٌ
The subject matter of this Surah is Da’wah. It invites to the truth, gives warnings to those who reject the truth, and tells us that the appeal to the truth is within our nature. It tells us also that the Believers receive strength from Allah’s revelation. The revelation gives life to those who were spiritually and morally dead at one time. The Surah contains both good news and warnings.
جو لوگ ہماری آیات کو الٹے معنی پہناتے ہیں وہ ہم سے کچھ چھپے ہوئے نہیں ہیں خود ہی سوچ لو کہ آیا وہ شخص بہتر ہے جو آگ میں جھونکا جانے والا ہے یا وہ جو قیامت کے روز امن کی حالت میں حاضر ہو گا؟ کرتے رہو جو کچھ تم چاہو، تمہاری ساری حرکتوں کو اللہ دیکھ رہا ہے
Sections:
Invitation to the truth of the Qur’an. The Qur’an is a book that explains everything.
Allah created the heaven and earth. Warnings to those who turn away from Allah.
Those who deny Allah, their own body will witness against them.
The disbelievers’ plan to suppress the message of the Qur’an will fail. Allah gives strength to the Believers.
The best people are those who invite to Allah. The effect of the revelation on the Believers. The signs of Allah.
Allah gives time to people to repent. What good or evil you do is for and against your own selves. The truth will gradually succeed.
"Ceux qui dénaturent le sens de Nos versets (le Coran) ne Nous échappent pas. Celui qui sera jeté au Feu sera-t-il meilleur que celui qui viendra en toute sécurité le Jour de la Résurrection? Quran 57:6

He merges the night into day and the day into night. And He knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart. Quran 57:6 Surah al-Hadid (The Iron)
This Surah takes its name from the Ayat, وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ “…And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might …” (57:25).

یُولِجُ ٱلَّیۡلَ فِی ٱلنَّهَارِ وَیُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِی ٱلَّیۡلِۚ وَهُوَ عَلِیمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
The theme of this Surah is to exhort the Muslims to spend in the cause of God. At the most critical juncture of the history of Islam when it was engaged in a life and death struggle against Arab paganism, this Surah was revealed to persuade the Muslim’s to make monetary sacrifices in particular, and to make them realise that Islam did not merely consist in verbal affirmation and some outward practices but its essence and spirit is sincerity towards God and His Religion. The faith of the one who was devoid of this spirit and who regarded his own self and wealth as dearer to himself than God and His Religion, was hollow and therefore of little worth in the sight of God. For this object, first the attributes of God Almighty have been mentioned so that the listeners may fully realize as to Who is addressing them.
وہی رات کو دن میں اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے، اور دلوں کے چھپے ہوئے راز تک جانتا ہے
Sections:
All knowledge and authority belongs to God. Have faith in Allah’s power, make sacrifice and give charity for the cause of truth.
Light and Life are for the Believers. The disbelievers walk in darkness. Warning to those who refuse to acknowledge Allah. Sincere in faith are those who are willing to sacrifice and help the poor and needy..
The life of this world is temporary. Compete with each other in doing good things to receive the eternal reward from Allah. Prophets were sent to establish justice with authority.
References to Prophets Noah, Ibrahim, and Jesus -peace be upon them all. All Prophets preached same message, but some of their followers went into extremes. The Christians thus invented monasticism for themselves. It was not commanded by God. The Believers are asked to have faith and walk in the light of Allah. The final success belongs to the Believers.

Quran 57:4~5

He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes out of it, and whatever descends from the sky and whatever ascends into it. And He is with you wherever you are. For Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah all matters are returned. Quran 57:4~5 Surah al-Hadid (The Iron)

At the most critical juncture of the history of Islam when it was engaged in a life and death struggle against Arab paganism, this Surah was revealed to persuade the Muslim’s to make monetary sacrifices in particular, and to make them realise that Islam did not merely consist in verbal affirmation and some outward practices but its essence and spirit is sincerity towards God and His Religion. The faith of the one who was devoid of this spirit and who regarded his own self and wealth as dearer to himself than God and His Religion, was hollow and therefore of little worth in the sight of God. For this object, first the attributes of God Almighty have been mentioned so that the listeners may fully realize as to Who is addressing them.
وہی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ دن میں پیدا کیا پھر عرش پر جا ٹھہرا۔ جو چیز زمین میں داخل ہوتی اور جو اس سے نکلتی ہے اور جو آسمان سے اُترتی اور جو اس کی طرف چڑھتی ہے سب اس کو معلوم ہے۔ اور تم جہاں کہیں ہو وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہے۔ اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو خدا اس کو دیکھ رہا ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی اسی کی ہے۔ اور سب امور اسی کی طرف رجوع ہوتے ہیں
Sections:
All knowledge and authority belongs to God. Have faith in Allah’s power, make sacrifice and give charity for the cause of truth.
Light and Life are for the Believers. The disbelievers walk in darkness. Warning to those who refuse to acknowledge Allah. Sincere in faith are those who are willing to sacrifice and help the poor and needy..
The life of this world is temporary. Compete with each other in doing good things to receive the eternal reward from Allah. Prophets were sent to establish justice with authority.
References to Prophets Noah, Ibrahim, and Jesus -peace be upon them all. All Prophets preached same message, but some of their followers went into extremes. The Christians thus invented monasticism for themselves. It was not commanded by God. The Believers are asked to have faith and walk in the light of Allah. The final success belongs to the Believers.

Quran 57:1~3

Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, for He is the Almighty, All-Wise. To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death. And He is Most Capable of everything. He is the First and the Last, the Most High and Most Near, and He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things. Quran 57:1~3 Surah al-Hadid (The Iron)
This Surah takes its name from the Ayat, وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ “…And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might …” (57:25).

جو مخلوق آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے خدا کی تسبیح کرتی ہے۔ اور وہ غالب (اور) حکمت والا ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی اسی کی ہے۔ (وہی) زندہ کرتا اور مارتا ہے۔ اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے وہ (سب سے) پہلا اور (سب سے) پچھلا اور (اپنی قدرتوں سے سب پر) ظاہر اور (اپنی ذات سے) پوشیدہ ہے اور وہ تمام چیزوں کو جانتا ہے

Quran 17:85~87

They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about the spirit. Say, “Its nature is known only to my Lord, and you ˹O humanity˺ have been given but little knowledge.” If We willed, We could have certainly taken away what We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺— then you would find none to guarantee its return from Us— had it not been for the mercy of your Lord. وَیَسۡءَلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلرُّوحِۖ قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّی وَمَاۤ أُوتِیتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا وَلَىِٕن شِئۡنَا لَنَذۡهَبَنَّ بِٱلَّذِیۤ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِۦ عَلَیۡنَا وَكِیلًا إِلَّا رَحۡمَةࣰ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ إِنَّ فَضۡلَهُۥ كَانَ عَلَیۡكَ كَبِیرࣰا
The word Isra’ refers to the “night journey” of the prophet Muhammad.
This surah is part of a series al-Musabbihat surahs because it begins with the glorification of God.
اور تم سے روح کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں۔ کہہ دو کہ وہ میرے پروردگار کی ایک شان ہے اور تم لوگوں کو (بہت ہی) کم علم دیا گیا ہے اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو جو (کتاب) ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجتے ہیں اسے (دلوں سے) محو کردیں۔ پھر تم اس کے لئے ہمارے مقابلے میں کسی کو مددگار نہ پاؤ مگر (اس کا قائم رہنا) تمہارے پروردگار کی رحمت ہے۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ تم پر اس کا بڑا فضل ہے
This surah takes its name from the first verse which, in Islamic tradition, tells the event of the Isra,
the transportation of Muhammad during the night from the Great Mosque of Mecca to what is referred to as “the farthest Mosque”.”
The exact location is specified in the Qurran in Arabic words أَسۡرَىٰ بِعَبۡدِهِۦ لَيۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡأَقۡصَا but this is commonly taken to Noble Sanctuary (Temple Mount) in Jerusalem. Some scholars disagree about this (see Isra and Mi’raj) lively .
While the city of Jerusalem (or al Quds , Al-Aqsa mosque) is mentioned by name anywhere in the Qur’an,[citation needed]
The first verse refers to Mohammed being taken from the ‘Masjid ul-harram’ to the ‘Masjid al-Aqsa’:
Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We (God) did bless,-
so that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).
