Quran 76:7~12 (Ayah al-Insan)

They (the virtous) ˹are those who˺ fulfil ˹their˺ vows and fear a Day of sweeping horror, and give food—despite their desire for it— to the poor, the orphan, and the captive, ˹(saying in their hearts),˺ “We feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you. We fear from our Lord a horribly distressful Day.” So Allah will deliver them from the horror of that Day, and grant them radiance and joy, and reward them for their perseverance with a Garden ˹in Paradise˺ and ˹garments of˺ silk.. Quran 76:7~12 Surah al-Insan (Man)
The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ حِينٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْئًا مَّذْكُورًا “Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?” [76:1]. There are 31 Ayat in this Surah.
یُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذۡرِ وَیَخَافُونَ یَوۡمࣰا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسۡتَطِیرࣰا وَیُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِینࣰا وَیَتِیمࣰا وَأَسِیرًا إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِیدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَاۤءࣰ وَلَا شُكُورًا إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا یَوۡمًا عَبُوسࣰا قَمۡطَرِیرࣰا فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡیَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةࣰ وَسُرُورࣰا وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةࣰ وَحَرِیرࣰا
This Surah speaks about the ways the human being can attain growth and spiritual development. The rewards of the Believers and the character of the Believers are also mentioned.
یہ وہ لوگ ہونگے جو (دنیا میں) نذر پوری کرتے ہیں، اور اُس دن سے ڈرتے ہیں جس کی آفت ہر طرف پھیلی ہوئی ہوگی اور اللہ کی محبت میں مسکین اور یتیم اور قیدی کو کھانا کھلاتے ہیں (اور اُن سے کہتے ہیں کہ) ہم تمہیں صرف اللہ کی خاطر کھلا رہے ہیں، ہم تم سے نہ کوئی بدلہ چاہتے ہیں نہ شکریہ ہمیں تو اپنے رب سے اُس دن کے عذاب کا خوف لاحق ہے جو سخت مصیبت کا انتہائی طویل دن ہوگا پس اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں اُس دن کے شر سے بچا لے گا اور انہیں تازگی اور سرور بخشے گا اور اُن کے صبر کے بدلے میں اُنہیں جنت اور ریشمی لباس عطا کریگا
The theme of this Surah is to inform man of his true position in the world and to tell him that if he understood his true position rightly and adopted the attitude of gratefulness, he would meet with such and such good end and if he adopted the way of disbelief, he would meet with such and such evil ends. In the longer Surahs of the Qur’an this same theme has been presented at length, but a special characteristic of the style of the earliest Surahs revealed at Makkah is that the subjects dealt with at length in the later period, “have been presented in a brief but highly effective way in this period in such concise, elegant sentences as may automatically be preserved in the memory of the hearers.

Quran 30:24 (Ayah ar-Rum)

And one of His signs is that He shows you lightning, inspiring ˹you with˺ hope and fear. And He sends down rain from the sky, reviving the earth after its death. Surely in this are signs for people who understand. Quran 30:24 Surah ar-Rum (The Romans, The Byzantines)
This Surah is named after the ‘Romans’ – The word ‘Roman’ is mentioned only in this Surah in the Qur’an.
There are 60 Ayat in this Surah.
وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ یُرِیكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفࣰا وَطَمَعࣰا وَیُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَیُحۡیِۦ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ
The Surah reminds us that Allah is in control of everything. Those who are short sighted they see only what is apparent but they do not realize that there is a Creator and Master of this whole universe and it is He who is governing everything. Final decision is in Allah’s hand. The Akhirah will take place and the truth will prevail.
اور اُس کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ ہے کہ وہ تمہیں بجلی کی چمک دکھاتا ہے خوف کے ساتھ بھی اور طمع کے ساتھ بھی اور آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے، پھر اس کے ذریعہ سے زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زندگی بخشتا ہے یقیناً اِس میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو عقل سے کام لیتے ہیں
Sections:
The defeat of the Romans and then later their victory is foretold.
Creation and Resurrection belong to Allah. Glorify Allah at different times of the day.
The signs of Allah in nature.
The true religion corresponds and enhances the nature. Teachings of the religion of nature: tawhid, care of the family and relatives, economic justice and charity.
Corruption caused by human beings. Evidence of corruption in history. Evidence of resurrection in nature.
The Day of Resurrection.

Quran 2:189 (Surah al-Baqarah)

They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about the phases of the moon. Say, “They are a means for people to determine time and pilgrimage.” Righteousness is not in entering your houses from the back doors. Rather, righteousness is to be mindful ˹of Allah˺. So enter your homes through their ˹proper˺ doors, and be mindful of Allah so you may be successful. Quran 2:189 Surah al-Baqarah (The Cow)
The surah encompasses a variety of topics and contains several commands for Muslims such as enjoining fasting on the believer during the month of Ramadan; forbidding interest or usury (riba); and several famous verses such as The Throne Verse, Al-Baqara 256, and the final two or three verses.

یَسۡءَلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡأَهِلَّةِۖ قُلۡ هِیَ مَوَ ٰقِیتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَٱلۡحَجِّۗ وَلَیۡسَ ٱلۡبِرُّ بِأَن تَأۡتُوا۟ ٱلۡبُیُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلۡبِرَّ مَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰۗ وَأۡتُوا۟ ٱلۡبُیُوتَ مِنۡ أَبۡوَ ٰبِهَاۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ
The surah addresses a wide variety of topics, including substantial amounts of law, and retells stories of Adam, Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). A major theme is guidance: urging the pagans (Al-Mushrikeen) and the Jews of Medina to embrace Islam, and warning them and the hypocrites (Munafiqun) of the fate God had visited in the past on those who failed to heed his call.
لوگ تم سے چاند کی گھٹتی بڑھتی صورتوں کے متعلق پوچھتے ہیں کہو: یہ لوگوں کے لیے تاریخوں کی تعین کی اور حج کی علامتیں ہیں نیز ان سے کہو: یہ کوئی نیکی کا کام نہیں ہے کہ اپنے گھروں میں پیچھے کی طرف داخل ہوتے ہو نیکی تو اصل میں یہ ہے کہ آدمی اللہ کی ناراضی سے بچے لہٰذا تم اپنے گھروں میں دروازے ہی سے آیا کرو البتہ اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو شاید کہ تمہیں فلاح نصیب ہو جائے
Sections:
The Book of Guidance for those who want to be righteous. The difference between the believers and the non-believers.
The hypocrites: their sickness, mischief and self-deception.
Mankind, worship Allah alone. Make no partners in Allah’s divinity. The challenge of the Qur’an. This Book will guide many but many will remain in error. The character of those who shall remain in error.
The story of the creation of Adam. Allah’s plan and promise to send His guidance from time to time through His prophets.
Address to Bani Israel to accept this message. Allah’s covenant must be fulfilled.
Warnings to those who stray from the covenant of God. How some from among the Children of Israel turned away from God’s teachings.
God’s blessings on the Children of Israel and their transgressions.
The real recipients of Divine salvation. The hesitation of Bani Israel in sacrificing the cow.
Some perversions of those who were supposed to follow the law of God.
Basic principles of God’s Covenant with the Children of Israel.
Some of them were arrogant to follow the teachings of their prophets, some rejected the prophets or tried to kill them, some worshipped the calf, disobeyed God’s commands and became too greedy for the life of this world.
Opposition and enmity towards the Prophets, following devils and magic.
Reminders to the Believers to follow these examples. Stay firm on your principles. Some among the People of the Book will try to mislead you with false claims and assertions.
The true guidance of Allah is here. Read the Book of Allah and follow it.
The great example of Prophet Ibrahim. He and his son built the Ka’bah and prayed for a Prophet to come. Prophet Ibrahim –peace be upon him- submitted to Allah and this is the message that he and his sons gave to their progeny.
The change of Qiblah and the response of the hypocrites and fools. Those who have knowledge know that this is the true Qiblah of all the Prophets.
Follow this direction wherever you are. This is the universal Qiblah for all.
Believers will be tried but they should be firm and steadfast and must face the trials with patience and prayers.
Allah’s signs and His bounties are everywhere. The polytheists and idolaters are misplacing their loyalties.
Believers should eat good and permissible food and should never follow the steps of the devil.
The true piety and righteousness. Some rules related to the punishment of murderers. The rules of bequests.
Fasting and Ramadan: the objective of fasting and some rules.
Rules of Hajj, fighting those who expelled Muslims from their homes.
No fighting during Hajj, rather seek God’s bounty when you return from Hajj.
Appreciate God’s bounties. All human beings were originally one community. Divisions came later. Be generous and defend your self and your faith.
Some important questions answered: War in the sacred months, wine and gambling, charity, orphans’ money, divorced women and their situation.
The laws of divorce
Continuation of the laws of divorce.
Rules on the remarriage of the divorced women or the widowers.
Further rules of divorce
Fighting in the cause of God: Israelites
Under the leadership of Prophet David the victory came over the forces of Goliath.
Emphasis on charity. To Allah belong everything. His Throne extends to heaven and earth. No compulsion in religion. Allah brings out people from darkness unto light.
Allah’s power over life and death, some examples: Prophet Ibrahim’s dialogue with Namrood, a man in the valley of dead (probably Prophet Ezekiel’s vision of Jerusalem), Prophet Ibrahim asks Allah how will He raise the dead to life. Allah’s answer to Prophet Ibrahim.
Allah blesses charity: some examples of how Allah blesses charity
Emphasis on charity: spend good things, give openly and secretly to the poor and needy.
Prohibition of usuary (riba) and its bad effects on individuals and society
Some rules on loan transactions
Conclusion and prayer: Everything in the heaven and earth belong to Allah, the prayer of the believers.

Quran 7:55(partial) & 56 (partial)

Call upon your Lord humbly and secretly. Quran 7:55 (Partial) And call upon Him with hope and fear. Allah’s mercy is always close to the good-doers. Quran 7:56 (partial) Surah al-A`raf (The Elevated Places) (7th Chapter of the Quran)
The Surah is named after the story of the men ,
awaiting on the “Elevations” between Paradise and Hell.
It comprises of 206 Ayat.

ٱدۡعُوا۟ رَبَّكُمۡ تَضَرُّعࣰا وَخُفۡیَةًۚ وَٱدۡعُوهُ خَوۡفࣰا وَطَمَعًاۚ إِنَّ رَحۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِیبࣱ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ
The basic theme of this Surah is Risalah, i.e. Allah’s message as it was sent through many messengers. Several Prophets and parts of their stories are mentioned to emphasize Prophets’ mission and their struggle with their people.
The Surah tells us that Allah’s Prophets suffered for the cause of truth.
Their enemies tried to harm them, but then Allah helped his prophets and defeated their enemies.
The Surah emphasizes that the true message must be presented under all circumstances.
After the Prophets it is the duty of the Believers to convey the message of Allah to all people.
(لوگو) اپنے پروردگار سے عاجزی سے اور چپکے چپکے دعائیں مانگا کرو۔ اور خدا سے خوف کرتے ہوئے اور امید رکھ کر دعائیں مانگتے رہنا۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ خدا کی رحمت نیکی کرنے والوں سے قریب ہے
Sections:
The Qur’an is revealed to remind the believers and to warn humankind about the consequences of their actions.
The judgment will indeed take place.
The story of Man’s creation and Satan’s opposition to Man.
Warning to the Children of Adam to be aware of Satan’s plots.
Allah’s messengers came to guide people.
The end of those who denied the message and those who accepted the message.
Cries of the wicked in the hellfire.
The righteous will prosper.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Noah – peace be upon him.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Hud- peace be upon him.
Some lessons from the story of Prophets Salih and Lot – peace be upon them.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Shu’aib – peace be upon him.
Warnings against those who deny the Prophets and Messengers of Allah.
Prophet Moses -peace be upon him- and his encounter with Pharaoh of Egypt.
Pharaoh and his magicians were defeated.
Pharaoh continued in his persecution of the Israelites.
Some more signs were shown to Pharaoh and his people.
The Torah was given to Prophet Moses- peace be upon him.
Some Israelites started Calf worship.
The Torah and Injil speak about the coming of Prophet Muhammad (saw). Allah’s promise for those who will follow the last Prophet.
Prophet Muhammad is the Universal Prophet. Some among the people of Prophet Moses were guided by the truth and lived with justice.
Some Israelites transgressed Allah’s laws and they suffered the consequences.
The eternal covenant of Allah was taken from all human beings.
The coming of the Last Hour
Shirk has no logic. Ignore the wrongdoers, but invite to Allah with

Complete Ayats 7:55~56

Quran 23:81~90

But they ˹just˺ say what their predecessors said. They said, “Once we are dead and reduced to dust and bones, will we really be resurrected? We have already been promised this, as well as our forefathers earlier. This is nothing but ancient fables!” Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “To whom belong the earth and all those on it, if you ˹really˺ know?” They will reply, “To Allah!” Say, “Why are you not then mindful?” continued…
Surah al-Mu’minum [The Believers] takes its name after the first Ayat, قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ “Certainly will the Believers have succeeded.” [23:1].
˹And˺ ask ˹them˺, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Mighty Throne?” They will reply, “Allah.” Say, “Will you not then fear ˹Him˺?” Ask ˹them also,˺ “In Whose Hands is the authority over all things, protecting ˹all˺ while none can protect against Him, if you ˹really˺ know?” They will reply, “Allah.” Say, “How are you then so deluded?” In fact, We have brought them the truth, and they are certainly liars. Quran 23:81~90 Surah Ayah al-Mu`minun (The Believers)

بَلۡ قَالُوا۟ مِثۡلَ مَا قَالَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ قَالُوۤا۟ أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَاۤؤُنَا هَـٰذَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ قُل لِّمَنِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِیهَاۤ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ ٱلسَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِیمِ سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ قُلۡ مَنۢ بِیَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُوَ یُجِیرُ وَلَا یُجَارُ عَلَیۡهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسۡحَرُونَ بَلۡ أَتَیۡنَـٰهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
In this Surah people are invited to accept and follow the Prophet. This is the central theme of the Surah. It speaks about the character of true believers and assures that they will be the real successful people. It draws attention to various stages of human creation, to many other universal signs. Then it takes some of the stories of other prophets and tells us that they also preached the same message.
مگر یہ لوگ وہی کچھ کہتے ہیں جو ان کے پیش رَو کہہ چکے ہیں یہ کہتے ہیں "کیا جب ہم مر کر مٹی ہو جائیں گے اور ہڈیوں کا پنجر بن کر رہ جائیں گے تو ہم کو پھر زندہ کر کے اٹھایا جائے گا؟ ہم نے بھی یہ وعدے بہت سنے ہیں اور ہم سے پہلے ہمارے باپ دادا بھی سنتے رہے ہیں یہ محض افسانہائے پارینہ ہیں" ان سے کہو، بتاؤ اگر تم جانتے ہو، کہ یہ زمین اور اس کی ساری آبادی کس کی ہے؟ یہ ضرور کہیں گے اللہ کی کہو، پھر تم ہوش میں کیوں نہیں آتے؟

The character of the Believers. Various stages of human creation and Allah’s signs in the universe.
The Message of Prophet Noah, his people’s response and then the flood.
Generations were raised after Prophet Noah. Many prophets were sent among them. Then came Prophet Moses and Aaron and then came Jesus – peace be upon them all.
All prophets are one Ummah and preached the same religion. Those who are affluent think that they are also the righteous people, but the righteous are only those who do the good deeds.
Everything in the heaven and earth belongs to Allah.
Prophet’s job is to continue presenting the message of Allah.
ان سے پوچھو، ساتوں آسمانوں اور عرش عظیم کا مالک کون ہے؟ یہ ضرور کہیں گے اللہ کہو، پھر تم ڈرتے کیوں نہیں؟ ان سے کہو، بتاؤ اگر تم جانتے ہو کہ ہر چیز پر اقتدار کس کا ہے؟ اور کون ہے وہ جو پناہ دیتا ہے اور اس کے مقابلے میں کوئی پناہ نہیں دے سکتا؟ یہ ضرور کہیں گے کہ یہ بات تو اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے کہو، پھر کہاں سے تم کو دھوکا لگتا ہے؟ جو امر حق ہے وہ ہم اِن کے سامنے لے آئے ہیں، اور کوئی شک نہیں کہ یہ لوگ جھوٹے ہیں

Quran 16:48~50

Have they not considered how the shadows of everything Allah has created incline to the right and the left ˹as the sun moves˺, totally submitting to Allah in all humility? And to Allah ˹alone˺ bows down ˹in submission˺ whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of living creatures, as do the angels—who are not too proud ˹ to do so˺. They fear their Lord above them, and do whatever they are commanded. Quran 16:48~50 Surah an-Nahl (The Bee) prostration verse
The Bee (Arabic: الْنَّحْل; an-naḥl) is the 16th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an, with 128 verses (āyāt).

أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَیۡءࣲ یَتَفَیَّؤُا۟ ظِلَـٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ وَٱلشَّمَاۤىِٕلِ سُجَّدࣰا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمۡ دَ ٰخِرُونَ وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩ یَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَیَفۡعَلُونَ مَا یُؤۡمَرُونَ ‏‏‏‏‏‏‏
The Surah speaks about Allah’s creative power.
Everything in the universe points to Allah.
There is coherence and balance in Allah’s creation.
اور کیا یہ لوگ اللہ کی پیدا کی ہوئی کسی چیز کو بھی نہیں دیکھتے کہ اس کا سایہ کس طرح اللہ کے حضور سجدہ کرتے ہوئے دائیں اور بائیں گرتا ہے؟ سب کے سب اِس طرح اظہار عجز کر رہے ہیں زمین اور آسمانوں میں جس قدر جان دار مخلوقات ہیں اور جتنے ملائکہ ہیں سب اللہ کے آگے سر بسجود ہیں وہ ہرگز سرکشی نہیں کرتے ۩ اپنے رب سے جو اُن کے اوپر ہے، ڈرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ حکم دیا جاتا ہے اسی کے مطابق کام کرتے ہیں
Major Issues, Divine Laws, and Guidance
Proof of Tawhid and refutation of shirk.
The mountains have been set on the earth to stabilize its balance.
Allah has sent the Prophets to warn against the unbeliever’s excuse:
“If Allah wanted we would have not worshipped anyone else.”
Allah’s promise to provide a good abode for those who migrate for His sake.
If Allah were to punish people for their wrong doings, He would not have left even an animal around them.
As water gives life to dead land so The Qur’an does to the human soul.
Allah has provided signs in the lives of the bees, birds and animals.
Allah commands to do justice, be good to others, and give to near relatives;
and He forbids indecency, wickedness, and rebellion.
Seek Allah’s protection against Shaitan before starting to recite The Qur’an.
Halal (lawful) and Haram (unlawful) are only from Allah.
Ibrahim was a nation in himself.
Call towards the Way of Allah with wisdom; advise and reason in a courteous manner.
