Quran 19:47~48

He said, “Peace be upon you. I will ask my Lord to forgive you; He has been Kind to me.As I distance myself from ˹all of˺ you and from whatever you invoke besides Allah, I will ˹continue to˺ call upon my Lord ˹alone˺, trusting that I will never be disappointed in invoking my Lord.”Quran 19:47~48 (Dua of Prophet Abraham) — Verses of the Day – 1 Nov 21

قَالَ سَلَمٌ عَلَيْكَ ۖ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّىٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِى حَفِيًّۭا ‎
‎‎‎‎‏وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّى شَقِيًّۭا

qāla salāmun ʿalayka sa-astaghfiru laka rabbī innahu kāna bī ḥafiyya
wa-aʿtazilukum wamā tadʿūna min dūni l-lahi wa-adʿū rabbī ʿasā allā akūna biduʿāi rabbī shaqiyya — Maryam (Arabic: مريم‎, Maryam; Arabic synonym of “Mary”) is the 19th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an with 98 verses (āyāt).

ابراہیم نے سلام علیک کہا (اور کہا کہ) میں آپ کے لئے اپنے پروردگار سے بخشش مانگوں گا۔ بےشک وہ مجھ پر نہایت مہربان ہے ﴿۴۷﴾
اور میں آپ لوگوں سے اور جن کو آپ خدا کے سوا پکارا کرتے ہیں ان سے کنارہ کرتا ہوں اور اپنے پروردگار ہی کو پکاروں گا۔ امید ہے کہ میں اپنے پروردگار کو پکار کر محروم نہیں رہوں گا ﴿۴۸﴾

He said, "Peace (be) on you. I will ask forgiveness for you (from) my Lord. Indeed, He is to me Ever Gracious.
And I will leave you and what you invoke from besides Allah and I will invoke my Lord. May be that not I will be in invocation (to) my Lord unblessed." Quran 19:47~48 (Dua of Hazrat Ibrahim)

اور تم عرض کرو، اے میرے رب بخش دے اور رحم فرما اور تو سب سے برتر رحم کرنے والا،
﴿۱۱۸﴾

Quran 3:31

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”(Quran 3:31) — Verse of the Day – 24 Oct 21

و‏قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى يُحْبِبْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

qul in kuntum tuḥibbūna l-laha fa-ittabiʿūnī yuḥ'bib'kumu l-lahu wayaghfir lakum dhunūbakum wal-lahu ghafūrun raḥīmu — Surah Aal-e-`Imran

(اے پیغمبر لوگوں سے) کہہ دو کہ اگر تم خدا کو دوست رکھتے ہو تو میری پیروی کرو خدا بھی تمہیں دوست رکھے گا اور تمہارے گناہ معاف کر دے گا اور خدا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ﴿۳۱﴾

Say, "If you love Allah, then follow me, will love you Allah and He will forgive for you your sins. And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.(Quran 3:31) — Quran Chapter 3, The Family of Imran

Quran 6:112~113

And so it is that against every Prophet We have set up the evil ones from among men and jinn, some of them inspire others with specious speech only by way of. delusion. Had it been your Lord´s will, they would not have done it. Leave them alone to fabricate what they willSo that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Life to Come might incline towards this attractive delusion, and that they may be well pleased with it and might acquire the evils that they are bent on acquiring (Quran 6:112~113) — Verse of the Day – 23 Oct 21

وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّۭا شَيَطِينَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ يُوحِى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ زُخْرُفَ ٱلْقَوْلِ غُرُورًۭا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ ‎‎‏وَلِتَصْغَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ أَفْـِٔدَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَلِيَرْضَوْهُ وَلِيَقْتَرِفُوا۟ مَا هُم مُّقْتَرِفُونَ

wakadhālika jaʿalnā likulli nabiyyin ʿaduwwan shayāṭīna l-insi wal-jini yūḥī baʿḍuhum ilā baʿḍin zukh'rufa l-qawli ghurūran walaw shāa rabbuka mā faʿalūhu fadharhum wamā yaftarūn
walitaṣghā ilayhi afidatu alladhīna lā yu'minūna bil-ākhirati waliyarḍawhu waliyaqtarifū mā hum muq'tarifūn

اور اسی طرح ہم نے شیطان (سیرت) انسانوں اور جنوں کو ہر پیغمبر کا دشمن بنا دیا تھا وہ دھوکا دینے کے لیے ایک دوسرے کے دل میں ملمع کی باتیں ڈالتے رہتے تھے اور اگر تمہارا پروردگار چاہتا تو وہ ایسا نہ کرتے تو ان کو اور جو کچھ یہ افتراء کرتے ہیں اسے چھوڑ دو
اور (وہ ایسے کام) اس لیے بھی (کرتے تھے) کہ جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ان کے دل ان کی باتوں پر مائل ہوں اور وہ انہیں پسند کریں اور جو کام وہ کرتے تھے وہ ہی کرنے لگیں

and thus We made for every Prophet an enemy - devils (from) the mankind and the jinn, inspiring some of them to others (with) decorative [the] speech (in) deception. But if (had) willed your Lord not they (would) have done it, so leave them and what they invent. And so that incline to it hearts (of) those who (do) not believe in the Hereafter, and so that they may be pleased with it and so that they may commit what they (are) committing.(Quran 6:112~113)

Quran 6:94

“˹Today˺ you have come back to Us all alone as We created you the first time— leaving behind everything We have provided you with. We do not see your intercessors with you—those you claimed were Allah’s partners ˹in worship˺. All your ties have been broken and all your claims have let you down.”Quran 6:94 — Verse of the Day – 22 Oct 21

Original / Arabic:
‏وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقْنَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَكُمْ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَٓؤُا۟ ۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

Transliteration:
walaqad ji'tumūnā furādā kamā khalaqnākum awwala marratin wataraktum mā khawwalnākum warāa ẓuhūrikum wamā narā maʿakum shufaʿāakumu alladhīna zaʿamtum annahum fīkum shurakāu laqad taqaṭṭaʿa baynakum waḍalla ʿankum mā kuntum tazʿumūn — Surah Al-An’am

Urdu:
اور جیسا ہم نے تم کو پہلی دفعہ پیدا کیا تھا ایسا ہی آج اکیلے اکیلے ہمارے پاس آئے اور جو (مال ومتاع) ہم نے تمہیں عطا فرمایا تھا وہ سب اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے چھوڑ آئے اور ہم تمہارے ساتھ تمہارے سفارشیوں کو بھی نہیں دیکھتے جن کی نسبت تم خیال کرتے تھے کہ وہ تمہارے (شفیع اور ہمارے) شریک ہیں۔ (آج) تمہارے آپس کے سب تعلقات منقطع ہوگئے اور جو دعوے تم کیا کرتے تھے سب جاتے رہے ﴿۹۴﴾

Word by Word:
And certainly you have come to Us alone as We created you (the) first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed (on) you behind your backs. And not We see with you your intercessors those whom you claimed that they (were) in your (matters) partners (with Allah). Indeed, have been severed (bonds) between you and is lost from you what you used to claim."(Quran 6:94) — Chapter: The Cattle

Quran 65:4

And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them — Verse of the Day – 21 Oct 21

وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ يُسْرًۭا

waman yattaqi l-laha yajʿal lahu min amrihi yus'ra

اور جو اللہ سے ڈرے اللہ اس کے کام میں آسانی فرمادے گا، ﴿۴﴾

And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him of his affair ease.[Quran 65:4 (partial)] — Surah At-Talaq

Quran 2:28

How is it that you deny Allah, while you were lifeless and He gave you life; then He will make you die, and then He will make you live again, and then to Him you will be returned. Quran 2:28 — Verse of the Day – 18 Oct 21

َيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَتًۭا فَأَحْيَكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

kayfa takfurūna bil-lahi wakuntum amwātan fa-aḥyākum thumma yumītukum thumma yuḥ'yīkum thumma ilayhi tur'jaʿūn — Surah Al-Baqarah

(کافرو!) تم خدا سے کیوں کر منکر ہو سکتے ہو جس حال میں کہ تم بےجان تھے تو اس نے تم کو جان بخشی پھر وہی تم کو مارتا ہے پھر وہی تم کو زندہ کرے گا پھر تم اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جاؤ گے ﴿۲۸﴾

How (can) you disbelieve in Allah? While you were dead then He gave you life; then He will cause you to die, then He will give you life, then to Him you will be returned.(Quran 2:28)

Quran 41:22~24

And you had not been hiding your selves (when committing sins) from your ears and your eyes and your skins that would bear witness against you, but you thought that Allah did not know much of what you did
This thought of yours that you conceived about your Lord brought you to ruin, and you became among the losers
Now, if they endure patiently, even then the Fire is their abode, and if they seek forgiveness, they are not among those (who could be) forgiven. (Quran 41:22~24)

َقَالُوا۟ لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنطَقَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ‎
‏وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَن يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَآ أَبْصَرُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَكِن ظَنَنتُمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًۭا مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ‎
وَذَلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَىٰكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَسِرِينَ

wamā kuntum tastatirūna an yashhada ʿalaykum samʿukum walā abṣārukum walā julūdukum walākin ẓanantum anna l-laha lā yaʿlamu kathīran mimmā taʿmalūn
wadhālikum ẓannukumu alladhī ẓanantum birabbikum ardākum fa-aṣbaḥtum mina l-khāsirīn
fa-in yaṣbirū fal-nāru mathwan lahum wa-in yastaʿtibū famā hum mina l-muʿ'tabīn

اور تم اس (بات کے خوف) سے تو پردہ نہیں کرتے تھے کہ تمہارے کان اور تمہاری آنکھیں اور چمڑے تمہارے خلاف شہادت دیں گے بلکہ تم یہ خیال کرتے تھے کہ خدا کو تمہارے بہت سے عملوں کی خبر ہی نہیں ﴿۲۲﴾ اور اسی خیال نے جو تم اپنے پروردگار کے بارے میں رکھتے تھے تم کو ہلاک کردیا اور تم خسارہ پانے والوں میں ہوگئے ﴿۲۳﴾ اب اگر یہ صبر کریں گے تو ان کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے۔ اور اگر توبہ کریں گے تو ان کی توبہ قبول نہیں کی جائے گی ﴿۲۴﴾

Word by Word:
And not you were covering yourselves lest testify against you your hearing and not your sight and not your skins, but you assumed that Allah (does) not know much of what you do.
And that (was) your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has ruined you, and you have become of the losers.
Then if they endure, the Fire (is) an abode for them; and if they ask for favor, then not they (will be) of those who receive favor.(Quran 41:22~24)

Quran 41:19~21

The Day when God’s enemies are herded into the Fire, forcibly.
Until, when they have reached it, their hearing, and their sight, and their skins will testify against them regarding what they used to do.
And they will say to their skins, “Why did you testify against us?” They will say, “God, Who made all things speak, made us speak. It is He who created you the first time, and to Him you are returned.”
(Quran 41:19~21) — Verse of the Day – 14 Oct 21

و‏وَيَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ أَعْدَآءُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ ‎
‎‏حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا مَا جَآءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَأَبْصَرُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
‏وَقَالُوا۟ لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنطَقَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ‎

wayawma yuḥ'sharu aʿdāu l-lahi ilā l-nāri fahum yūzaʿūn
ḥattā idhā mā jāūhā shahida ʿalayhim samʿuhum wa-abṣāruhum wajulūduhum bimā kānū yaʿmalūn
waqālū lijulūdihim lima shahidttum ʿalaynā qālū anṭaqanā l-lahu alladhī anṭaqa kulla shayin wahuwa khalaqakum awwala marratin wa-ilayhi tur'jaʿūn

اور ذرا اُس وقت کا خیال کرو جب اللہ کے یہ دشمن دوزخ کی طرف جانے کے لیے گھیر لائے جائیں گے اُن کے اگلوں کو پچھلوں کے آنے تک روک رکھا جائے گا ﴿۱۹﴾ پھر جب سب وہاں پہنچ جائیں گے تو ان کے کان اور ان کی آنکھیں اور ان کے جسم کی کھالیں ان پر گواہی دیں گی کہ وہ دنیا میں کیا کچھ کرتے رہے ہیں ﴿۲۰﴾ وہ اپنے جسم کی کھالوں سے کہیں گے "تم نے ہمارے خلاف کیوں گواہی دی؟"وہ جواب دیں گی "ہمیں اُسی خدا نے گویائی دی ہے جس نے ہر چیز کو گویا کر دیا ہے اُسی نے تم کو پہلی مرتبہ پیدا کیا تھا اور اب اُسی کی طرف تم واپس لائے جا رہے ہو ﴿۲۱﴾

And (the) Day will be gathered (the) enemies (of) Allah to the Fire, then they will be assembled in rows, Until, when (from) they come to it (will) testify against them their hearing, and their sight, and their skins, (as) to what they used to do.
And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say, Made us speak Allah, the One Who makes speak every thing; and He created you (the) first time, and to Him you will be returned."(Quran 41:39)

Quran 3 : 14~17

Men are tempted by the lure of women and offspring, of hoarded treasures of gold and silver, of splendid horses, cattle, and plantations. These are the enjoyments of this life, but far better is the return to God
Say: ‘Shall I tell you of better things than these, with which the God-fearing shall be rewarded by their Lord? Gardens watered by running brooks, wherein shall they abide for ever: spouses of perfect chastity and grace from God.‘ God is ever observant of His servants,
those who say: ‘Lord, we do believe: forgive us our sins and keep us from the torment of the Fire‘; who are steadfast, sincere, obedient, and charitable; and who implore forgiveness at break of day

زُیِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوٰتِ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ وَ الْبَنِیْنَ وَ الْقَنَاطِیْرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَ الْفِضَّةِ وَ الْخَیْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَ الْاَنْعَامِ وَ الْحَرْثِؕ-ذٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیَاۚ-وَ اللّٰهُ عِنْدَهٗ حُسْنُ الْمَاٰبِ(۱۴)
قُلْ اَؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَیْرٍ مِّنْ ذٰلِكُمْؕ-لِلَّذِیْنَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنّٰتٌ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَا وَ اَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَّ رِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ بَصِیْرٌۢ بِالْعِبَادِۚ(۱۵)
اَلَّذِیْنَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِۚ(۱۶)
اَلصّٰبِرِیْنَ وَ الصّٰدِقِیْنَ وَ الْقٰنِتِیْنَ وَ الْمُنْفِقِیْنَ وَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِیْنَ بِالْاَسْحَارِ(۱۷)

لوگوں کو ان کی خواہشوں کی چیزیں یعنی عورتیں اور بیٹے اور سونے اور چاندی کے بڑے بڑے ڈھیر اور نشان لگے ہوئے گھوڑے اور مویشی اور کھیتی بڑی زینت دار معلوم ہوتی ہیں (مگر) یہ سب دنیا ہی کی زندگی کے سامان ہیں اور خدا کے پاس بہت اچھا ٹھکانا ہے ﴿۱۴﴾
(اے پیغمبر ان سے) کہو کہ بھلا میں تم کو ایسی چیز بتاؤں جو ان چیزوں سے کہیں اچھی ہو (سنو) جو لوگ پرہیزگار ہیں ان کے لیے خدا کے ہاں باغات (بہشت) ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں ان میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور پاکیزہ عورتیں ہیں اور (سب سے بڑھ کر) خدا کی خوشنودی اور خدا (اپنے نیک) بندوں کو دیکھ رہا ہے ﴿۱۵﴾
جو خدا سے التجا کرتے ہیں کہ اے پروردگار ہم ایمان لے آئے سو ہم کو ہمارے گناہ معاف فرما اور دوزخ کے عذاب سے محفوظ رکھ ﴿۱۶﴾
یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو (مشکلات میں) صبر کرتے اور سچ بولتے اور عبادت میں لگے رہتے اور (راہ خدا میں) خرچ کرتے اور اوقات سحر میں گناہوں کی معافی مانگا کرتے ہیں ﴿۱۷﴾

Zuyyina linnaasi hubbush shahawaati minannisaaa’i wal baneena walqanaateeril muqantarati minaz zahabi walfiddati walkhailil musawwamati wal an’aami walhars; zaalika mataa’ul hayaatid dunyaa wallaahu ‘indahoo husnul ma-aab. Qul a’unabbi ‘ukum bikhairim min zaalikum; lillazeenat taqaw ‘inda Rabbihim jannaatun tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa wa azwaajum mutahharatunw wa ridwaanum minal laah; wallaahu baseerum bil’ibaad. Allazeena yaqooloona Rabbanaaa innanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa qinaa ‘azaaban Naar. Assaabireena wassaa diqeena walqaaniteena walmunfiqeena walmus taghfireena bil ashaar.
