Hadees: Tirmizi 3339

Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrated that :the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Al-Yawmul-Maw’ud (the Promised Day) is the Day of Resurrection, and Al-Yawmul-Mashhud (the Attended Day) is the Day of Arafah, and Ash-Shahid (the witness) is Friday.” He (ﷺ) said: “The sun does not rise nor set, upon a day that is more virtuous than it. In it, there is an hour in which no believing worshipper makes a supplication to Allah for good, except that Allah answers it for him, and he does not seek Allah’s aid for something, except that He aids him in it.”Hadees: Tirmizi 3339 (Chapters On Tafsir)Chapter: Regarding Surat Al-Buruj

Jabir reported that the (ﷺ) said, “The ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah are the best days in the sight of Allah.” A man asked, “Are these days better than an equivalent number of days that are spent fighting for the cause of Allah?”The Prophet answered; “They are better than an equivalent number of days spent fighting in the cause of Allah. And there is no day better in the sight of Allah than the Day of Arafah. On this day Allah, the Almighty and the Exalted One, descends to the nearest heaven, and He is proud of His slaves on the earth and says to those in heaven; ‘Look at My servants. They have come from far and near, with hair disheveled and faces covered with dust. They seek My mercy, even though they have not seen My chastisement. Far more people are freed from the Hellfire on the Day of Arafah than on any other day.” Hadees: Muslim

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafa, and the best is what I and the prophets before me said: There is no God but Allah, alone, without a partner, to Him belongs the kingdom and to Him is praise, He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things.Hadees: Muslim

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ
قَالََ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
"‏ الْيَوْمُ الْمَوْعُودُ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالْيَوْمُ الْمَشْهُودُ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَالشَّاهِدُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ
وَمَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ غَرَبَتْ عَلَى يَوْمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْهُ فِيهِ سَاعَةٌ
لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُؤْمِنٌ
يَدْعُو اللَّهَ بِخَيْرٍ إِلاَّ اسْتَجَابَ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَلاَ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ شَرٍّ إِلاَّ أَعَاذَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ ‏"

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:

” «اليوم الموعود»
سے مراد قیامت کا دن ہے،
اور
«واليوم المشهود»
سے مراد عرفہ کا دن
اور
( «شاہد» ) سے مراد جمعہ کا دن ہے، اور
جمعہ کے دن سے افضل کوئی دن نہیں ہے جس پر سوج کا طلوع و غروب ہوا ہو، اس دن میں ایک ایسی گھڑی (ایک ایسا وقت) ہے کہ اس میں جو کوئی بندہ اپنے رب سے بھلائی کی دعا کرتا ہے
تو اللہ اس کی دعا قبول کر لیتا ہے،
اور اس گھڑی میں جو کوئی مومن بندہ کسی چیز سے پناہ چاہتا ہے تو اللہ اسے اس سے بچا لیتا اور پناہ دے دیتا ہے۔

Hadees: Muslim 499

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, recited the saying of Allah Almighty about Abraham, upon him be peace, “My Lord, the idols have misled many people, so whoever follows me is part of me,” (14:36). And the words of Jesus, upon him be peace, “If You punish them, they are Your servants, but if You forgive them, You are the Almighty, the Wise.” (5:118).

Then the Prophet raised his hands and he said, “O Allah, my nation, my nation!” And the Prophet wept. Allah Almighty said, “O Gabriel, go to Muhammad – and your Lord is most knowing – and ask him why he is crying.”Continued…

Gabriel came to him and he asked him and the Prophet told him about it, though Allah knows best. Allah Almighty said, “O Gabriel, go to Muhammad and say: Verily, We will please you regarding your nation and We will not disappoint you.”Hadees: Muslim 499 / 202The book of Faith, Chapter on Supplication

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَلَا
قَوْلَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام
رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِنْ النَّاسِ
فَمَنْ تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي الْآيَةَ
وَقَالَ عِيسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام
إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ
وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ

وَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي وَبَكَى
فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
يَا جِبْرِيلُ
اذْهَبْ إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ فَسَلْهُ مَا يُبْكِيكَ فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَسَأَلَهُ فَأَخْبَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَا
قَالَ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ
فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
يَا جِبْرِيلُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
فَقُلْ إِنَّا سَنُرْضِيكَ فِي أُمَّتِكَ وَلَا نَسُوءُكَ
202 صحيح مسلم

حضرت عبد اللہ بن
عمرو بن عاص ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سےروایت کہ نبیﷺ نےابراہیم علیہ السلام کے بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان :
’’پروردگار ، ان بتوں نے بہتوں کو گمراہی میں ڈالا ہے ( ممکن ہے کہ میری اولاد کو بھی یہ گمراہ کر دیں ، لہٰذا ان میں سے ) جو میرے طریقے پر چلے وہ میرا ہے اور جو میرے خلاف طریقہ اختیار کرے تو یقیناً تو درگزر کرنے والا مہربان ہے ۔
اور عیسیٰ ‌علیہ ‌السلام ‌ کے قول
’’اگر تو انہیں عذاب دے تو وہ تیرے بندے ہیں اور اگر تو انہیں معاف فرما دے تو بلاشبہ توہی غالب حکمت والا ہے ’’ کی تلاوت فرمائی اور
اپنے ہاتھ اٹھ کر فرمایا :
’’ اے اللہ !
میری امت ، میری امت ’’
اور ( بے اختیار ) روپڑے

اللہ تعالیٰ نےحکم دیا :
اے جبرئیل !
محمدﷺ کے پاس جاؤ ،
جبکہ تمہارا رب زیادہ جاننےوالا ہے ، ان سے پوچھو کہ
آپ کو کیا بات رلا رہی ہے ؟

جبریل ‌علیہ ‌السلام ‌ آپ کےپاس آئے اور ( وجہ ) پوچھی
تو رسو ل ا للہﷺ نے جو بات کہی تھی ان کو بتائی ،

جبکہ وہ ( اللہ اس بات سے ) زیادہ اچھی طرح آگاہ ہے ،

اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا :
اے جبریل!
محمدﷺ کے پاس جاؤ اور کہو کہ
ہم آپ کی امت کے بارے میں آپ کو راضی کریں گے اور
ہم آپ کو تکلیف نہ ہونے دیں گے ۔
