Quran 25:11~16

In fact, they deny the Hour. And for the deniers of the Hour, We have prepared a blazing Fire. Once it sees them from a distance, they will hear it fuming and growling. And when they are tossed into a narrow place inside ˹Hell˺, chained together, then and there they will cry out for ˹instant˺ destruction. ˹They will be told,˺ “Do not cry only once for destruction, but cry many times over!” continued…
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Is this better or the Garden of Eternity which the righteous have been promised, as a reward and ˹an ultimate˺ destination? There they will have whatever they wish for, forever. That is a promise ˹to be sought after˺, binding on your Lord.” Quran 25:11~16, Surah al-Furqan (The Criterion)
Surah al-Furqan [The Criterion] takes its name from the first Ayat,
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ
“Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant…” [25:1]

بَلۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِیرًا إِذَا رَأَتۡهُم مِّن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِیدࣲ سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا تَغَیُّظࣰا وَزَفِیرࣰا وَإِذَاۤ أُلۡقُوا۟ مِنۡهَا مَكَانࣰا ضَیِّقࣰا مُّقَرَّنِینَ دَعَوۡا۟ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورࣰا لَّا تَدۡعُوا۟ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ ثُبُورࣰا وَ ٰحِدࣰا وَٱدۡعُوا۟ ثُبُورࣰا كَثِیرࣰا قُلۡ أَذَ ٰلِكَ خَیۡرٌ أَمۡ جَنَّةُ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ ٱلَّتِی وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۚ كَانَتۡ لَهُمۡ جَزَاۤءࣰ وَمَصِیرࣰا لَّهُمۡ فِیهَا مَا یَشَاۤءُونَ خَـٰلِدِینَۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعۡدࣰا مَّسۡءُولࣰا
The Surah answers some of the objections of the non-believers against the Qur’an and the teachings of Islam. It also presents the character of the Believers as criteria to prove the truth of Islam.
بلکہ یہ تو قیامت ہی کو جھٹلاتے ہیں اور ہم نے قیامت کے جھٹلانے والوں کے لئے دوزخ تیار کر رکھی ہے جس وقت وہ ان کو دور سے دیکھے گی (تو غضبناک ہو رہی ہوگی اور یہ) اس کے جوش (غضب) اور چیخنے چلانے کو سنیں گے اور جب یہ دوزخ کی کسی تنگ جگہ میں (زنجیروں میں) جکڑ کر ڈالے جائیں گے تو وہاں موت کو پکاریں گے آج ایک ہی موت کو نہ پکارو بہت سی موتوں کو پکارو
پوچھو کہ یہ بہتر ہے یا بہشت جاودانی جس کا پرہیزگاروں سے وعدہ ہے۔ یہ ان (کے عملوں) کا بدلہ اور رہنے کا ٹھکانہ ہوگا وہاں جو چاہیں گے ان کے لئے میسر ہوگا ہمیشہ اس میں رہیں گے۔ یہ وعدہ خدا کو (پورا کرنا) لازم ہے اور اس لائق ہے کہ مانگ لیا جائے
Sections:
Prophet Muhammad came as a Warner for the whole world. The evil of Shirk. The objections of those who denied the Prophet and his message.
The Punishment of those who deny Allah and His message.
Non-believers’ demand to see the angels or Allah. Non-believers say why the whole Qur’an was not sent down at once.
Examples of the people of Prophets Moses, Aaron, Noah and ‘Ad, Thamud and the People of al-Rass.
Examples from the natural world: shadows, night and day, winds of rain, oceans with two different types of waters, creation of human beings, creation of the heaven and earth in six days.
The character and qualities of the most faithful servants of Allah.

Quran 45:32

And whenever it was said ˹to you˺, ‘Surely Allah’s promise ˹of judgment˺ is true and there is no doubt about the Hour,’ you said ˹mockingly˺, ‘We do not know what the Hour is! We think it is no more than speculation, and we are not convinced ˹ that it will ever come˺.’” Quran 45:32 Surah al-Jathiyah (The Kneeling)
The Surah takes its name with the mention of kneeling in the Ayat,
وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً ۚكُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَىٰ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِهَا الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
“And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told],
“Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.” (45:28).
There are 37 Ayat in this Surah.

وَإِذَا قِیلَ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهَا قُلۡتُم مَّا نَدۡرِی مَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنࣰّا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُسۡتَیۡقِنِینَ
The Surah warns those who deny the Divine truth.
It talks about human arrogance and sinfulness.
The judgment of Allah will cover all the people.
The nations will stand before him in the kneeling condition.
اور جب کہا جاتا تھا کہ خدا کا وعدہ سچا ہے اور قیامت میں کچھ شک نہیں تو تم کہتے تھے ہم نہیں جانتے کہ قیامت کیا ہے۔ ہم اس کو محض ظنی خیال کرتے ہیں اور ہمیں یقین نہیں آتا
Sections:
Allah’s signs are all over in the universe and in our own soul. Those who deny the revelation of God will see punishment of Allah.
Follow the clear path of truth.
Some people have made their desires their god. They also deny the Hereafter.
People will stand before Allah on their knees. Their record of deeds will be presented to them.

Quran 45:27~29

To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On the Day the Hour will be established, the people of falsehood will then be in ˹total˺ loss. And you will see every faith-community on its knees. Every community will be summoned to its record ˹of deeds˺. ˹They all will be told,˺ “This Day you will be rewarded for what you used to do. This record of Ours speaks the truth about you. Indeed, We always had your deeds recorded ˹by the angels˺.” Quran 45:27~29 Surah al-Jathiyah (The Kneeling)

اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہت خدا ہی کی ہے۔ اور جس روز قیامت برپا ہوگی اس روز اہل باطل خسارے میں پڑ جائیں گے اور تم ہر ایک فرقے کو دیکھو گے کہ گھٹنوں کے بل بیٹھا ہوگا۔ اور ہر ایک جماعت اپنی کتاب (اعمال) کی طرف بلائی جائے گی۔ جو کچھ تم کرتے رہے ہو آج تم کو اس کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا یہ ہماری کتاب تمہارے بارے میں سچ سچ بیان کردے گی۔ جو کچھ تم کیا کرتے تھے ہم لکھواتے جاتے ہیں

Quran 15:85~86

Remember, We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, without Purpose. (Nations that do not fit themselves in the Divine Plan get wiped out. So shall happen to your people, (O Prophet), if they do not mend their ways). Behold, the Hour is surely coming (when you shall be victorious). So overlook their faults, and forgive them graciously. Surely your Lord is the Master Creator, All-Knowing. Quran 15:85~86 [Surah al-Hijr (The Valley of Stone)]
It is named ‘Hijr’ after the valley located between Madinah and Sham [Greater Syria], where the people of Salih, Thamud lived.
There are 99 Ayat in this Surah.

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَاۤ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَءَاتِیَةࣱۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِیلَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ
The main theme of the Surah is divine guidance, and people’s response. Allah’s warns those who deny this message and as a reminder of these warnings, we have here the stories of Prophet Lot’s people, Thamud and other groups.
اور ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو (مخلوقات) ان میں ہے اس کو تدبیر کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے۔ اور قیامت تو ضرور آکر رہے گی تو تم (ان لوگوں سے) اچھی طرح سے درگزر کرو کچھ شک نہیں کہ تمہارا پروردگار (سب کچھ) پیدا کرنے والا (اور) جاننے والا ہے
Sections:
Qur’an is the Books of Allah. He revealed it and He will guard it.
Allah knows everything in the universe. He is the Creator of all.
The creation of human being is from a very humble stuff, but Allah honored him and asked angels to bow down to Adam. Satan’s response.
Allah is very forgiving, but His punishment is also severe.
Prophet Lot and Prophet Shu’aib’s people.
The People of Hijr and what happened to them. Qur’an and Surah al-Fatihah are special gifts of Allah. Allah will take care of those who ridicule His message

Quran 33:63

People ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about the Hour. Say, “That knowledge is only with Allah. You never know, perhaps the Hour is near.” Quran 33:63 Surah al-Ahzab (the Combined Forces)
The Surah takes its name, al-Ahzab [confederates/groups] from the Ayat,
وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّـهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اللَّـهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيمَانًا وَتَسْلِيمًا
“And when the believers saw the confederates, they said,
“This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.” And it increased them only in faith and acceptance.” (33:22)

There are 73 Ayat in this Surah.

يَسۡـــَٔلُكَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِؕ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِؕ وَمَا يُدۡرِيۡكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ تَكُوۡنُ قَرِيۡبًا
The Surah deals with a number of social and political issues.
It talks about the practice of child-adoption, some marriage customs, Battle of Ahzab and Bani Quraydhah, social issues related to Hijab of Muslim women.
It also talks about the hypocrites and their conduct in the society.
لوگ تم سے قیامت کی نسبت دریافت کرتے ہیں (کہ کب آئے گی) کہہ دو کہ اس کا علم خدا ہی کو ہے۔ اور تمہیں کیا معلوم ہے شاید قیامت قریب ہی آگئی ہو
Sections:
The custom of adoption and Islamic instructions about it. Prophet Muhammad (saw) is dearer to the believers than their own selves.
The Battle of Ahzab and the way of the hypocrites.
The excellent role model of the Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him.
The household of the Prophet, his pious wives.
Allah’s rewards for the Believing men and women. Prophet’s marriage with Zainab. The finality of the Prophethood.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) is sent as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings and Shining Lamp. The marriages of the Prophet: certain privileges and restrictions.
Rules of conduct in domestic relations.
Rules of Hijab, Warnings to the hypocrites, the Last Hour.
Believers must speak right. The burden of trust assumed by the human being.

Quran 7:187~188

They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the Hour, “When will it be?” Say, “That knowledge is only with my Lord. He alone will reveal it when the time comes. It is too tremendous for the heavens and the earth and will only take you by surprise.” They ask you as if you had full knowledge of it. Say, “That knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know.” Say, “I have no power to benefit or protect myself, except by the Will of Allah. If I had known the unknown, I would have benefited myself enormously, and no harm would have ever touched me. I am only a warner and deliverer of good news for those who believe.” Quran 7:187~188
The Surah is named after the story of the men awaiting on the “Elevations” between Paradise and Hell.
It comprises of 206 Ayat.

یَسۡءَلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَیَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّیۖ لَا یُجَلِّیهَا لِوَقۡتِهَاۤ إِلَّا هُوَۚ ثَقُلَتۡ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَا تَأۡتِیكُمۡ إِلَّا بَغۡتَةࣰۗ یَسۡءَلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِیٌّ عَنۡهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ قُل لَّاۤ أَمۡلِكُ لِنَفۡسِی نَفۡعࣰا وَلَا ضَرًّا إِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَلَوۡ كُنتُ أَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبَ لَٱسۡتَكۡثَرۡتُ مِنَ ٱلۡخَیۡرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِیَ ٱلسُّوۤءُۚ إِنۡ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِیرࣱ وَبَشِیرࣱ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ
The basic theme of this Surah is Risalah, i.e. Allah’s message as it was sent through many messengers. Several Prophets and parts of their stories are mentioned to emphasize Prophets’ mission and their struggle with their people.
The Surah tells us that Allah’s Prophets suffered for the cause of truth.
Their enemies tried to harm them, but then Allah helped his prophets and defeated their enemies.
The Surah emphasizes that the true message must be presented under all circumstances.
After the Prophets it is the duty of the Believers to convey the message of Allah to all people.
یہ لوگ تم سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ آخر وہ قیامت کی گھڑی کب نازل ہوگی؟ کہو "اس کا علم میرے رب ہی کے پاس ہے اُسے اپنے وقت پر وہی ظاہر کرے گا آسمانوں اور زمین میں وہ بڑا سخت وقت ہوگا وہ تم پر اچانک آ جائے گا" یہ لوگ اس کے متعلق تم سے اس طرح پوچھتے ہیں گویا کہ تم اس کی کھوج میں لگے ہوئے ہو کہو "اس کا علم تو صرف اللہ کو ہے مگر اکثر لوگ اس حقیقت سے نا واقف ہیں" اے محمدؐ، ان سے کہو "میں اپنی ذات کے لیے کسی نفع اور نقصان کا اختیار نہیں رکھتا، اللہ ہی جو کچھ چاہتا ہے وہ ہو تا ہے اور اگر مجھے غیب کا علم ہوتا تو میں بہت سے فائدے اپنے لیے حاصل کر لیتا اور مجھے کبھی کوئی نقصان نہ پہنچتا میں تو محض ایک خبردار کرنے والا اور خوش خبری سنانے والا ہوں اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو میری بات مانیں"
Sections:
The Qur’an is revealed to remind the believers and to warn humankind about the consequences of their actions.
The judgment will indeed take place.
The story of Man’s creation and Satan’s opposition to Man.
Warning to the Children of Adam to be aware of Satan’s plots.
Allah’s messengers came to guide people.
The end of those who denied the message and those who accepted the message.
Cries of the wicked in the hellfire.
The righteous will prosper.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Noah – peace be upon him.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Hud- peace be upon him.
Some lessons from the story of Prophets Salih and Lot – peace be upon them.
Some lessons from the story of Prophet Shu’aib – peace be upon him.
Warnings against those who deny the Prophets and Messengers of Allah.
Prophet Moses -peace be upon him- and his encounter with Pharaoh of Egypt.
Pharaoh and his magicians were defeated.
Pharaoh continued in his persecution of the Israelites.
Some more signs were shown to Pharaoh and his people.
The Torah was given to Prophet Moses- peace be upon him.
Some Israelites started Calf worship.
The Torah and Injil speak about the coming of Prophet Muhammad (saw). Allah’s promise for those who will follow the last Prophet.
Prophet Muhammad is the Universal Prophet. Some among the people of Prophet Moses were guided by the truth and lived with justice.
Some Israelites transgressed Allah’s laws and they suffered the consequences.
The eternal covenant of Allah was taken from all human beings.
The coming of the Last Hour
Shirk has no logic. Ignore the wrongdoers, but invite to Allah with kindness.
Listen to the Qur’an and always remember Allah.

Quran 27:65~69

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “None in the heavens and the earth has knowledge of the unseen except Allah. Nor do they know when they will be resurrected. No! Their knowledge of the Hereafter amounts to ignorance. In fact, they are in doubt about it. In truth, they are ˹totally˺ blind to it. The disbelievers ask, “When we and our fathers are reduced to dust, will we really be brought forth ˹alive˺? We have already been promised this, as well as our forefathers earlier. This is nothing but ancient fables!” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Travel throughout the land and see the fate of the wicked.” Quran 27:65~69
Surah Naml is named after ‘the Ant’ mentioned in (27:18).
This is the only mention of ‘the Ant’ in the whole of the Qur’an.
There are 93 Ayat in this Surah.

قُل لَّا یَعۡلَمُ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡغَیۡبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ وَمَا یَشۡعُرُونَ أَیَّانَ یُبۡعَثُونَ  بَلِ ٱدَّ ٰرَكَ عِلۡمُهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِی شَكࣲّ مِّنۡهَاۖ بَلۡ هُم مِّنۡهَا عَمُونَ  وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَ ٰبࣰا وَءَابَاۤؤُنَاۤ أَىِٕنَّا لَمُخۡرَجُونَ  لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا هَـٰذَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَاۤؤُنَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  قُلۡ سِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ 
The theme of the Surah is divine guidance in history.
Allah sent His Prophets to different people. Some accepted them and were guided,
while others denied them and they saw the consequences of their denial.
The Surah also contrasts between the principles of Tawhid and shirk.
کہہ دو کہ جو لوگ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہیں خدا کے سوا غیب کی باتیں نہیں جانتے۔ اور نہ یہ جانتے ہیں کہ کب (زندہ کرکے) اٹھائے جائیں گے بلکہ آخرت (کے بارے) میں ان کا علم منتہی ہوچکا ہے بلکہ وہ اس سے شک میں ہیں۔ بلکہ اس سے اندھے ہو رہے ہیں اور جو لوگ کافر ہیں کہتے ہیں جب ہم اور ہمارے باپ دادا مٹی ہو جائیں گے تو کیا ہم پھر (قبروں سے) نکالے جائیں گے یہ وعدہ ہم سے اور ہمارے باپ دادا سے پہلے سے ہوتا چلا آیا ہے (کہاں کا اُٹھنا اور کیسی قیامت) یہ تو صرف پہلے لوگوں کی کہانیاں ہیں کہہ دو کہ ملک میں چلو پھرو پھر دیکھو کہ گنہگاروں کا انجام کیا ہوا ہے
Sections:
The Qur’an is from the All Wise and All-knower. How did Prophet Moses received the message of Allah. Allah gave Moses many signs but Pharaoh and his people denied them.
The knowledge and power that Allah bestowed on Prophets David and Solomon. What kind of character they had.
Queen of Saba’ and her submission to Prophet Solomon.
The response of Thamud to Prophet Saleh’s message. Also the example of the people among whom Prophet Lot was sent.
The contrast between the tawhid and shirk. Allah or the so-called gods of Shirk.
The surety of Resurrection.
The coming of the Day of Judgment.
