Hadees: Bukhari 7385 (Supplication in Night Prayer – Tahajjud)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (R.A.): The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah at night, saying, O Allah: All the Praises are for You: You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Maintainer of the Heaven and the Earth and whatever is in them. All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. Your Word is the Truth, and Your Promise is the Truth, and Meeting with You is the Truth, and Paradise is the Truth, and the (Hell) Fire is the Truth, and the Hour is the Truth.

O Allah! I surrender myself to You, and I believe in You and I depend upon You, and I repent to You and with You (Your evidences) I stand against my opponents, and to you I leave the judgment (for those who refuse my message). O Allah! Forgive me my sins that I did in the past or will do in the future, and also the sins I did in secret or in public. You are my only God (Whom I worship) and there is no other God for me (i.e. I worship none but You).Narrated Sufyan: (regarding the above narration) that the Prophet (ﷺ) added, You are the Truth, and Your Word is the Truth.Hadees: Bukhari 7385The Book Of Tauhid (Islamic Monotheism)

حَدَّثَنَا، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
يَدْعُو مِنَ اللَّيْلِ :

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ ،
أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ،
أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ،
وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ،
وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ،

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ،
وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ،
وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ ،
وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ،
وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ ،
وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ،
فَاغْفِرْ لِي
مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَأَسْرَرْتُ وَأَعْلَنْتُ،
أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ لِي غَيْرُكَ،

حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ،
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بِهَذَا ،
وَقَالَ وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ .

عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ
نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
رات میں یہ دعا کرتے تھے

”اے اللہ!
تیرے ہی لیے تعریف ہے
تو آسمان و زمین کا مالک ہے،
حمد تیرے لیے ہی ہے

تو آسمان و زمین کا قائم کرنے والا ہے اور ان سب کا جو اس میں ہیں۔

تیری ہی لیے حمد ہے

تو آسمان و زمین کا نور ہے۔

تیرا قول حق ہے اور تیرا وعدہ سچ ہے اور تیری ملاقات سچ
اور جنت سچ اور دوزخ سچ ہے
اور قیامت سچ ہے۔

اے اللہ!
میں نے تیرے ہی سامنے سر جھکا دیا، میں تجھ ہی پر ایمان لایا،
میں نے تیرے ہی اوپر بھروسہ کیا
اور تیری ہی طرف رجوع کیا۔

میں نے تیری ہی مدد کے ساتھ مقابلہ کیا اور
میں تجھی سے انصاف کا طلب گار ہوں۔

پس تو میری مغفرت کر،
ان تمام گناہوں میں
جو میں پہلے کر چکا ہوں
اور جو بعد میں مجھ سے صادر ہوں
جو میں نے چھپا رکھے ہیں
اور جن کا میں نے اظہار کیا ہے،

تو ہی میرا معبود ہے اور
تیرے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں۔“

اور اس میں یوں ہے کہ
”تو حق ہے اور تیرا کلام حق ہے۔“

Hadees: Bukhari 4946

Narrated `Ali:While the Prophet (ﷺ) was in a funeral procession, he took a small stick and started scraping the earth with it and said, "There is none among you but has his place written for him, either in the Hell Fire or in Paradise." They (the people) said, "Allah's Messenger! (ﷺ) Shall we depend on this (and leave work)?" He (ﷺ) replied. "Carry on doing (good deeds), for everybody will find easy (to do) such deeds as will lead him to his destined place." The Prophet (ﷺ) then recited:-- 'As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah, and believes in the Best Reward.’ .. حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رضى الله عنه
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏
أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي جَنَازَةٍ
فَأَخَذَ عُودًا يَنْكُتُ فِي الأَرْضِ
فَقَالَ
‏"‏ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ وَقَدْ كُتِبَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ أَوْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ ‏"
قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
أَفَلاَ نَتَّكِلُ
قَالَ
اعْمَلُوا فَكُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ
‏{‏فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى * وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى‏}‏ الآيَةَ‏.‏

Quran 92:5~11

علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ،
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک جنازہ میں تھے، آپ نے ایک لکڑی اٹھائی اور اس سے زمین کریدتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ
تم میں کوئی شخص ایسا نہیں جس کا جنت یا دوزخ کا ٹھکانا لکھا نہ جا چکا ہو۔

صحابہ نے عرض کیا:
یا رسول اللہ(ﷺ)!
کیا پھر ہم اسی پر بھروسہ نہ کر لیں؟

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ
عمل کرتے رہو کہ
ہر شخص کو توفیق دی گئی ہے
(انہیں اعمال کی
جن کے لیے وہ پیدا کیا گیا ہے)
«فأما من أعطى واتقى * وصدق بالحسنى‏» ”سو جس نے دیا اور اللہ سے ڈرا اور اچھی بات کو سچا سمجھا“ آخر آیت تک۔
