Quran 59:9 (Partial)

And whoever is saved from the selfishness of their own souls, it is they who are ˹truly˺ successful.Quran 59:9 (partial) — ^{The Surah takes its name from the second Ayat, هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ ۚ “It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering…..” [59:2]

وَمَن یُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ — ^{The Surah talks about the banishment of Bani Nadhir and secret relations between them and the hypocrites of Madinah. It exhorts the Believers to be firm in their faith in Allah and gives some of the Beautiful Names of Allah.}

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ جو لوگ اپنے
دل کی تنگی سے بچا لیے گئے
وہی فلاح پانے والے ہیں — ^{Sections:

Quran 59:10

And those who come after them will pray, “Our Lord! Forgive us and our fellow believers who preceded us in faith, and do not allow bitterness into our hearts towards those who believe. Our Lord! Indeed, You are Ever Gracious, Most Merciful.”Quran 59:10 — ^{The Surah takes its name from the second Ayat, هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ ۚ “It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering…..” [59:2]

وَٱلَّذِینَ جَاۤءُو مِنۢ

اور (ان کے لئے بھی)
جو ان (مہاجرین) کے بعد آئے (اور) دعا کرتے ہیں کہ
اے پروردگار
ہمارے اور ہمارے بھائیوں کے جو ہم سے پہلے ایمان لائے ہیں گناہ معاف فرما
اور مومنوں کی طرف سے ہمارے دل میں کینہ (وحسد)
نہ پیدا ہونے دے۔
اے ہمارے پروردگار
تو بڑا شفقت کرنے والا
مہربان ہے — ^{Sections:

Quran 59:24

He is Allah: the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper. He ˹alone˺ has the Most Beautiful Names. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth ˹constantly˺ glorifies Him. ہر چیز جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے
اُس کی تسبیح کر رہی ہے،

اور وہ زبردست اور حکیم ہے — ^{Sections:

Quran 59:23

He is Allah—there is no god except Him: the King, the Most Holy, the All-Perfect, the Source of Serenity, the Watcher ˹of all˺, the Almighty, the Supreme in Might, the Majestic. اپنا حکم بزور نافذ کرنے والا، اور بڑا ہی ہو کر رہنے والا پاک ہے اللہ اُس شرک سے

The residents of the Fire cannot be equal to the residents of Paradise.
˹Only˺ the residents of Paradise will be successful.

O believers ! Be mindful of Allah and let every soul look to what ˹deeds˺ it has sent forth for tomorrow. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies Allah.

Quran 59:21

Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allah. We set forth such comparisons for people, ˹so˺ perhaps they may reflect.Quran 59:21

لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍۢ لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ خَشِعًۭا مُّتَصَدِّعًۭا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَمْثَلُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

law anzalnā hādhā l-qur'āna ʿalā jabalin lara-aytahu khāshiʿan mutaṣaddiʿan min khashyati l-lahi watil’ka l-amthālu naḍribuhā lilnnāsi laʿallahum yatafakkarūn — Al-Quran – Surah Al-Hashr

اگر ہم یہ قرآن کسی پہاڑ پر نازل کرتے تو تم اس کو دیکھتے کہ خدا کے خوف سے دبا اور پھٹا جاتا ہے۔ اور یہ باتیں ہم لوگوں کے لئے بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ فکر کریں ﴿۲۱﴾

If We (had) sent down this Quran on a mountain, surely you (would) have seen it humbled, breaking asunder from (the) fear (of) Allah. And these (are) the examples, We present them to the people so that they may give thought.[Quran 59:69]
