Quran 9:16

Do you ˹believers˺ think that you will be left without Allah proving who among you ˹truly˺ struggles ˹in His cause˺ and never takes trusted allies other than Allah, His Messenger, or the believers? And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. Quran 9:16
The name of the surah, at-Taubah is derived from ت و ب and it occurs 87 times in the Quran. Interestingly, this surah has the highest usage of the words derived from ت و ب compared to all other surahs – it is used 17 times.
In Ayat 118, occurs the case of the three companions whom Allah turned to and accepted their tawbah to Him – those who had abstained from joining the Jihad at the Battle of Tabuk.

أَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ أَن تُتۡرَكُوا۟ وَلَمَّا یَعۡلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ مِنكُمۡ وَلَمۡ یَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا رَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَلِیجَةࣰۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
This is the only Sūrah of the Qur’ān to which ‘In the Name of God, Most Gracious Most Merciful’ is not prefixed. Though the commentators have given different reasons for this, the correct one that which has been given by Imām Razi: namely this is because the Prophet himself did not dictate it at the beginning of the Sūrah. Therefore the Companions did not prefix it and their successors followed them. This is a further proof of the fact that utmost care has been taken to keep the Qur’ān intact so that it should remain in its complete and original form.
کیا تم لوگوں نے یہ سمجھ رکھا ہے کہ یونہی چھوڑ دیے جاؤ گے حالانکہ ابھی اللہ نے یہ تو دیکھا ہی نہیں کہ تم میں سے کون وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے (اس کی راہ میں) جاں فشانی کی اور اللہ اور رسول اور مومنین کے سوا کسی کو جگری دوست نہ بنایا، جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ اس سے باخبر ہے
The basic subjects of the Surah are: The non-believers who broke their treaties, Muslims have no obligation to honor treaties with them. Muslims must protect themselves from hypocrisy, weak faith and negligence. Battle of Tabuk and its lessons.

˹It is the believers˺ who repent, who are devoted to worship, who praise ˹their Lord˺, who fast, who bow down and prostrate themselves, who encourage good and forbid evil, and who observe the limits set by Allah. And give good news to the believers. Quran 9:112

توبہ کرنے والے، عبادت کرنے والے، حمد کرنے والے، روزہ رکھنے والے، رکوع کرنے والے، سجدہ کرنے والے، نیک کاموں کا امر کرنے والے، بری باتوں سے منع کرنے والے، خدا کی حدوں کی حفاظت کرنے والے، (یہی مومن لوگ ہیں) اور اے پیغمبر مومنوں کو (بہشت کی) خوش خبری سنادو

Quran 9:111

Allah has indeed purchased from the believers their lives and wealth in exchange for Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah and kill or are killed. This is a true promise binding on Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. And whose promise is truer than Allah’s? So rejoice in the exchange you have made with Him. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph. Quran 9:111

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ نے مومنوں سے ان کے نفس اور ان کے مال جنت کے بدلے خرید لیے ہیں وہ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے اور مارتے اور مرتے ہیں ان سے (جنت کا وعدہ) اللہ کے ذمے ایک پختہ وعدہ ہے توراۃ اور انجیل اور قرآن میں اور کون ہے جو اللہ سے بڑھ کر اپنے عہد کا پورا کرنے والا ہو؟ پس خوشیاں مناؤ اپنے اس سودے پر جو تم نے خدا سے چکا لیا ہے، یہی سب سے بڑی کامیابی ہے

Quran 9:24

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If your parents and children and siblings and spouses and extended family and the wealth you have acquired and the trade you fear will decline and the homes you cherish— ˹if all these˺ are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and struggling in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His Will. Allah does not guide the rebellious people.” Quran 9:24

کہہ دو کہ اگر تمہارے باپ اور بیٹے اور بھائی اور عورتیں اور خاندان کے آدمی اور مال جو تم کماتے ہو اور تجارت جس کے بند ہونے سے ڈرتے ہو اور مکانات جن کو پسند کرتے ہو خدا اور اس کے رسول سے اور خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے سے تمہیں زیادہ عزیز ہوں تو ٹھہرے رہو یہاں تک کہ خدا اپنا حکم (یعنی عذاب) بھیجے۔ اور خدا نافرمان لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیا کرتا

Sections:
Proclamation that the Treaty of Hudaibiyah is cancelled.
Honor the treaties with those who honor them. Fight with those who have broken the treaty.
Mushrikin are forbidden to be the caretakers of the Masjid al-Haram.
Muslims should trust Allah, not just their numbers.
Jews and Christians also committed Shirk. Command to spend in the path of Allah. The correct number of months.
The Tabuk expedition.
Those who stayed behind and did not participate in the Battle of Tabuk, hypocrites and weak in faith.
The proper distribution of charity. Those who speak ill of the Prophet or make fun of Allah and His Book.
The hypocrite men and women.
