Hadees: Bukhari 2786

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (R.A.):Somebody asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ! Who is the best among the people?“Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied "A believer who strives his utmost in Allah's Cause with his life and property." They asked, "Who is next?" He replied (ﷺ) , "A believer who stays in one of the mountain paths worshipping Allah and leaving the people secure from his mischief."Hadees: Bukhari 2786Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)

حَدَّثَنَا، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ رضى الله عنه
حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،
أَىُّ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏
"‏ مُؤْمِنٌ يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ ‏"‏‏‏
قَالُوا
ثُمَّ مَنْ
قَالَ صلى الله عليه وسلم
‏"‏ مُؤْمِنٌ فِي شِعْبٍ مِنَ الشِّعَابِ يَتَّقِي اللَّهَ، وَيَدَعُ النَّاسَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ ‏"

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ
عرض کیا گیا
یا رسول اللہ!
کون شخص سب سے افضل ہے؟

آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا
”وہ مومن جو اللہ کے راستے میں اپنی جان اور مال سے جہاد کرے۔“

صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے پوچھا
اس کے بعد کون؟

فرمایا
”وہ مومن جو پہاڑ کی کسی گھاٹی میں رہنا اختیار کرے ‘ اللہ تعالیٰ کا خوف رکھتا ہو اور لوگوں کو چھوڑ کر اپنی برائی سے ان کو محفوظ رکھے۔“
