Quran 20:47~54 (Ayah TaHa)
So [Moses & Aaron) go to him [Pharaoh] and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.’ “ [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?“ He [Moses] said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it].“ Continued… 1/2
[Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?“ [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets.“ [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence (sound judgment.). Quran 20:47~54 Surah TaHa
Surah TaHa takes its name after the disjointed letters from the first Ayat.
It has 135 ayat.
فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ قَدْ جِئْنَـٰكَ بِـَٔايَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ وَٱلسَّلَـٰمُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْنَآ أَنَّ ٱلْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ قَالَ فَمَن رَّبُّكُمَا يَـٰمُوسَىٰ قَالَ رَبُّنَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلْقَهُۥ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ ٱلْقُرُونِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ قَالَ عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّى فِى كِتَـٰبٍۢ ۖ لَّا يَضِلُّ رَبِّى وَلَا يَنسَى ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًۭا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًۭا وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًۭا مِّن نَّبَاتٍۢ شَتَّىٰ كُلُوا۟ وَٱرْعَوْا۟ أَنْعَـٰمَكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلنُّهَىٰ
The subject matter of the Surah is to assure the Prophet and his followers that the message of the Qur’an will eventually succeed. The story of Prophet Moses is mentioned in detail. Then it is mentioned how the enemies of Islam are opposing it and what will be the consequences of this opposition for them.

(اچھا) تو اس (فرعون) کے پاس جاؤ اور کہو کہ ہم آپ کے پروردگار کے بھیجے ہوئے ہیں تو بنی اسرائیل کو ہمارے ساتھ جانے کی اجازت دیجیئے۔ اور انہیں عذاب نہ کیجیئے۔ ہم آپ کے پاس آپ کے پروردگار کی طرف سے نشانی لے کر آئے ہیں۔ اور جو ہدایت کی بات مانے اس کو سلامتی ہو ہماری طرف یہ وحی آئی ہے کہ جو جھٹلائے اور منہ پھیرے اس کے لئے عذاب (تیار) ہے (غرض موسیٰ اور ہارون فرعون کے پاس گئے) فرعون نے کہا کہ موسیٰ تمہارا پروردگار کون ہے؟ موسیٰ نے کہا کہ ہمارا پروردگار وہ ہے س نے ہر چیز کو اس کی شکل وصورت بخشی پھر راہ دکھائی
Sections:
Prophet Muhammad is told not to feel distress because of the denial of the unbeleivers. Allah knows everything. Remember the story of Moses. Allah called him to the Prophethood and gave him special signs.
Prophet Moses’ prayer. Allah commanded Moses and his brother Aaron to go to Pharaoh and give him the message. Allah mentions His favors upon Moses.
Prophet Moses goes to Pharaoh. The challenge with the Egyptian magicians. The defeat of the magicians and then their conversion.
Allah saved the Children of Israel from Pharaoh. Prophet Moses goes to Sinai. Samiri misleads the Israelites and they worship the calf.
The anger of Prophet Moses. Samiri confessed his evil action and he was punished.
The Day of Judgment. No intercession will help without Allah’s permission. The opponents of the Prophet.
Devil misleads human beings. Some references to the story of Adam and Iblis.
The evil doers will be punished. Be patient and offer regular prayers.
