Shakal bin Humaid (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I asked: “O Messenger of Allahﷺ, teach me a prayer.” He ﷺ said, “Say:Allaahumma innee a’oothu bika min sharri sam’ee, wa min sharri basaree, wa min sharri lisaanee, wa min sharri qalbee, wa min sharri maniyyeeO Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evils of my hearing, the evils of my seeing, the evils of my tongue; the evils of my heart and the evils of passions.Hadees: Abu Dawud 1551, At-Tirmidhi 3492, An-Nasa’I 5484, Riyad as-Salihin 1483

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ
مِنْ شَرِّ سَمْعِي،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ بَصَرِي،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ لِسَانِي،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ قَلْبِي،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَنِيِّي

شکل بن حمید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا:
اللہ کے رسولﷺ !
مجھے دعا سکھائیے جس سے میں فائدہ اٹھاؤں،

آپﷺ نے فرمایا:
”کہو
«اللہم عافني من شر سمعي وبصري ولساني وقلبي ومن شر منيي»
اے اللہ!
تو مجھے پناہ دے
کان، نگاہ، زبان، دل
اور منی (نطفہ)
کی برائی سے۔
