Be upright ˹in devotion˺ to Allah, associating none with Him ˹in worship˺. For whoever associates ˹others˺ with Allah is like someone who has fallen from the sky and is either snatched away by birds or swept by the wind to a remote place.That is so. And whoever honours the symbols of Allah, it is certainly out of the piety of the heart.Quran 22:31~32 (Surah al-Hajj) — ^{Named after the obligation of the pilgrimage to Makkah – The Hajj.
The word ‘Hajj’ is only mentioned once in this Surah, وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ “And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass -” [22:27]

حُنَفَاۤءَ لِلَّهِ
غَیۡرَ مُشۡرِكِینَ بِهِۦۚ
وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَتَخۡطَفُهُ ٱلطَّیۡرُ
أَوۡ تَهۡوِی بِهِ ٱلرِّیحُ
فِی مَكَانࣲ سَحِیقࣲ

ذَ ٰلِكَۖ
وَمَن یُعَظِّمۡ شَعَـٰۤىِٕرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقۡوَى ٱلۡقُلُوبِ — ^{The Surah reminds about the approaching end of the world, need for the firmness of faith to support the truth and to eradicate the evil. It talks about prayers, humbleness and sacrifice, respect of the Ka’bah, the House of Allah, and striving to defend the truth.}

یکسُو ہو کر اللہ کے بندے بنو،
اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرو

اور جو کوئی اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرے
تو گویا وہ آسمان سے گر گیا،
اب یا تو اسے پرندے اُچک لے
جائیں گے
یا ہوا اُس کو ایسی جگہ لے جا کر پھینک دے گی
جہاں اُس کے چیتھڑے اڑ جائیں گے

یہ ہے اصل معاملہ (اسے سمجھ لو)،

اور جو اللہ کے مقرر کردہ شعائر
کا احترام کرے تو
یہ دلوں کے تقویٰ سے ہے — ^{Sections:
The Shaking of the Last Hour. Arguments for the Resurrection from the stages of human creation and from the rain that produces vegetation.
The marginal Muslims and their end.
The true believers shall be rewarded.
Pilgrimage to the House of Allah.
Respect of the Symbols of Allah.
The permission of fighting back is granted to those to whom wrong is done.
Satan’s enticements and Allah’s especial protection of His words.
The reward of those who migrate in the cause of Allah.
Allah’s order prevails in the heaven and earth.
The Muslim community is chosen by Allah for a special purpose.}
