Supplication after Prayer

Abu Zubair reported: Ibn Zubair uttered at the end of every prayer after pronouncing salutation (these words):" There is no god but Allah. He is alone. There is no partner with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and He is Potent over everything. There is no might or power except with Allah. There is no god but Allah and we do not worship but Him alone. To Him belong all bounties, to Him belongs all Grace, and to Him is worthy praise accorded. There is no god but Allah, to Whom we are sincere in devotion, even though the unbelievers should disapprove it." وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ حِينَ يُسَلِّمُ
" لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَلاَ نَعْبُدُ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ لَهُ النِّعْمَةُ وَلَهُ الْفَضْلُ وَلَهُ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَنُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ "
وَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُهَلِّلُ بِهِنَّ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ .

ابوالزبیر نے کہا: سیدنا ابن الزبیر رضی اللہ عنہ ہمیشہ ہر نماز کے بعد سلام پھیرتے وقت پڑھتے
”کوئی معبود لائق عبادت کے نہیں، نہ اس کا کوئی شریک ہے، اسی کی ہے سلطنت اور اسی کے لئے ہے سب تعریف اور وہ سب کچھ کر سکتا ہے اور نہ گناہ سے بچنے کی طاقت، نہ عبادت کرنے کی قوت ہے مگر ساتھ اللہ کے، نہیں کوئی معبود لائق عبادت کے سوائے اللہ کے اور نہیں پوجتے ہم مگر اسی کو، اس کا ہے سب احسان اور اسی کو سب بزرگی اور اسی کے لئے سب تعریف اچھی، نہیں ہے کوئی معبود عبادت کے لائق مگر اللہ، ہم صرف اسی کی عبادت کرنے والے ہیں اگرچہ کافر برا مانیں۔“
اور کہا: راوی سیدنا ابن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر نماز کے بعد یہی پڑھا کرتے۔
