Quran 2:280

If it is difficult for someone to repay a debt, postpone it until a time of ease. And if you waive it as an act of charity, it will be better for you, if only you knew.Quran 2:280 — Verse of the Day – 29 Oct 21

َإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍۢ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ مَيْسَرَةٍۢ ۚ وَأَن تَصَدَّقُوا۟ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

wa-in kāna dhū ʿus'ratin fanaẓiratun ilā maysaratin wa-an taṣaddaqū khayrun lakum in kuntum taʿlamūn — Surah al-Baqarah

اور اگر قرض لینے والا تنگ دست ہو تو (اسے) کشائش (کے حاصل ہونے) تک مہلت (دو) اور اگر (زر قرض) بخش ہی دو توتمہارے لئے زیادہ اچھا ہے بشرطیکہ سمجھو ﴿۲۸۰﴾

And if is the (debtor) in difficulty, then postponement until ease. And if you remit as charity (it is) better for you. If you know.[Quran 2:280] — Chapter 2 (The Cow)
