Quran 9:34~35

O you who believe! Verily, there are many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks who devour the wealth of mankind in falsehood, and hinder (them) from the Way of Allah. And those who hoard up gold and silver (Al-Kanz: money, gold and silver, etc., the Zakat of which has not been paid), and spend it not in the Way of Allah, -announce unto them a painful torment. On the Day when that will be heated in the Fire of Hell and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, (and it will be said unto them):-"This is the treasure which you hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what you used to hoard." (Quran 9:34~35) — Verses of the day – 17 Oct 21

يَٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْبَارِ وَٱلرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْبَطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ ٱلذَّهَبَ وَٱلْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍۢ ‎
‏يَوْمَ يُحْمَىٰ عَلَيْهَا فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَىٰ بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ ۖ هَذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū inna kathīran mina l-aḥbāri wal-ruh'bāni layakulūna amwāla l-nāsi bil-bāṭili wayaṣuddūna ʿan sabīli l-lahi wa-alladhīna yaknizūna l-dhahaba wal-fiḍata walā yunfiqūnahā fī sabīli l-lahi fabashir'hum biʿadhābin alīmi
yawma yuḥ'mā ʿalayhā fī nāri jahannama fatuk'wā bihā jibāhuhum wajunūbuhum waẓuhūruhum hādhā mā kanaztum li-anfusikum fadhūqū mā kuntum taknizūn — Surah at-Taubah

مومنو! (اہل کتاب کے) بہت سے عالم اور مشائخ لوگوں کا مال ناحق کھاتے اور (ان کو) راہ خدا سے روکتے ہیں۔ اور جو لوگ سونا اور چاندی جمع کرتے ہیں اور اس کو خدا کے رستے میں خرچ نہیں کرتے۔ ان کو اس دن عذاب الیم کی خبر سنادو ﴿۳۴﴾
جس دن وہ مال دوزخ کی آگ میں (خوب) گرم کیا جائے گا۔ پھر اس سے ان (بخیلوں) کی پیشانیاں اور پہلو اور پیٹھیں داغی جائیں گی (اور کہا جائے گا) کہ یہ وہی ہے جو تم نے اپنے لیے جمع کیا تھا سو جو تم جمع کرتے تھے (اب) اس کا مزہ چکھو ﴿۳۵﴾

O you who believe! Indeed, many of the rabbis and the monks surely eat (the) wealth (of) the people in falsehood, and hinder from (the) way (of) Allah. And those who hoard the gold and the silver, and (do) not spend it in (the) way (of) Allah, [so] give them tidings of a punishment painful.
9:35 (The) Day it will be heated (on it) in the Fire (of) Hell, and will be branded with it their foreheads and their flanks and their backs, "This (is) what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard."(Quran 9:34~35)
