Quran 50:36~37

˹Imagine˺ how many peoples We destroyed before them, who were far mightier than them. Then ˹when the torment came,˺ they ˹desperately˺ sought refuge in the land. ˹But˺ was there any escape?Surely in this is a reminder for whoever has a ˹mindful˺ heart and lends an attentive ear.Quran 50:36~37 — ^{The Surah takes its name from the first Ayat, ق ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ
“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an…” (50:1).

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ ‎
‏إِنَّ فِى ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌۭ ‎
‎‎‎ — ^{The Surah emphasizes the theme of resurrection and the ultimate success of those who have faith in Allah and His Prophets.}

اور ہم نے ان سے پہلے کئی اُمتیں ہلاک کر ڈالیں۔ وہ ان سے قوت میں کہیں بڑھ کر تھے وہ شہروں میں گشت کرنے لگے۔ کیا کہیں بھاگنے کی جگہ ہے؟
جو شخص دل (آگاہ) رکھتا ہے یا دل سے متوجہ ہو کر سنتا ہے اس کے لئے اس میں نصیحت ہے — ^{Sections:
Nature points out to the Resurrection.
Allah is closer to us than our life-vein. The death, the end of the world, and the Resurrection.
The Final judgment.}
