Quran 38:79~85

Satan appealed, “My Lord ! Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”Allah said, “You will be delayed until the appointed Day.”Satan said, “By Your Glory ! I will certainly mislead them all, except Your chosen servants among them.”Allah concluded, “The truth is—and I ˹only˺ say the truth—:I will surely fill up Hell with you and whoever follows you from among them, all together.”

Sad (Arabic: ص, Ṣād; “The Letter Sad”) is the 38th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an with 88 verses (āyāt) and 1 sajdah ۩ (38:24). Sad (ص) is the name of the eighteenth letter in the Arabic alphabet

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ ‎
‏قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ ‎
‏إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ ‎
‏قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ‎
‏إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ ‎
‏قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ ‎
‏لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

78-82 God curses Iblīs, but respites him till the resurrection-day
83-84 Iblís declares to God he will seduce mankind, except the servants of God
85 God declares his purpose to fill hell with Satan and his followers

(ابلیس) کہنے لگا کہ میرے پروردگار مجھے اس روز تک کہ لوگ اٹھائے جائیں مہلت دے
فرمایا کہ
تجھ کو مہلت دی جاتی ہے اس روز تک جس کا وقت مقرر ہے
کہنے لگا کہ مجھے تیری عزت کی قسم میں ان سب کو بہکاتا رہوں گا سوا ان کے جو تیرے خالص بندے ہیں
فرمایا
سچ (ہے) اور میں بھی سچ کہتا ہوں کہ
میں تجھ سے اور جو ان میں سے تیری پیروی کریں گے سب سے جہنم کو بھر دوں گا

God is “Oft-Forgiving”; He is also Just, punishing those who have done wrong. In Sura 38, God speaks of entire civilizations wiped out because they did not believe (e.g. Q:38 10-17). However, the Sura suggests that God will forgive a believer if his faith is strong and true and he repents for his misdeeds. We, too, can be saved by God and given a place in heaven on the Day of Judgment.
