Quran 27:44 (partial) – (Supplication of Queen of Sheba)
“My Lord! I have certainly wronged my soul. Now I ˹fully˺ submit myself along with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.” Quran 27:44 (partial) Surah an-Naml (The Ants) Supplication of Queen of Sheba, when invited by Prophet Solomon (who like her followers had previously worshipped the sun) to submit to God.
Surah Naml is named after ‘the Ant’ mentioned in (27:18). This is the only mention of ‘the Ant’ in the whole of the Qur’an.
There are 93 Ayat in this Surah.
رَبِّ إِنِّی ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِی وَأَسۡلَمۡتُ مَعَ سُلَیۡمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ
The theme of the Surah is divine guidance in history. Allah sent His Prophets to different people. Some accepted them and were guided, while others denied them and they saw the consequences of their denial. The Surah also contrasts between the principles of Tawhid and shirk.
"اے میرے رب، (آج تک) میں اپنے نفس پر بڑا ظلم کرتی رہی، اور اب میں نے سلیمانؑ کے ساتھ اللہ رب العالمین کی اطاعت قبول کر لی"
