This Surah is known as al-Anbiyah [The Prophets] and is not known by any other name. Sixteen Prophets are mentioned in this Surah [directly or indirectly]: Musa, Haroon, Isa, Zakariyyah, Yahyah, Jonah, Ismail, Idris, Dhul Kifl, Ayyub, Sulayman, Lut, Ishaq, Yaqub, Ibrahim and the Prophet Muhammad. There are 112 Ayat in this Surah.
