Quran 11 : 118~119

Had your Lord so willed, He would have certainly made humanity one single community ˹of believers˺, but they will always ˹choose to˺ differ—except those shown Mercy by your Lord—and so He created them ˹to choose freely˺. And so the Word of your Lord will be fulfilled: “I will surely fill up Hell with jinn and humans all together.”
(Quran 11:118~119) — Verses of the Day – 10 Oct 21

وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةًۭ وَحِدَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ ‎
‎ ‏إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ ۚ وَلِذَلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ ۗ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

اور اگرتمہارا رب چاہتا تو سب آدمیوں کو ایک ہی امت کردیتا (ف۲۳۹) اور وہ ہمیشہ اختلاف میں رہیں گے ﴿۱۱۸﴾
مگر جن پر تمہارے رب نے رحم کیا اور لوگ اسی لیے بنائے ہیں اور تمہارے رب کی بات پوری ہوچکی کہ بیشک ضرور جہنم بھر دوں گا جنوں اور آدمیوں کو ملا کر ﴿۱۱۹﴾

walaw shāa rabbuka lajaʿala l-nāsa ummatan wāḥidatan walā yazālūna mukh'talifīn
illā man raḥima rabbuka walidhālika khalaqahum watammat kalimatu rabbika la-amla-anna jahannama mina l-jinati wal-nāsi ajmaʿīn

And if (had) willed your Lord surely He (could) have made the mankind community one, but not they will cease to differ. Except (on) whom has bestowed Mercy your Lord, and for that He created them. And will be fulfilled (the) Word (of) your Lord, "Surely I will fill Hell with the Jinn and the men all together.".
(Quran 11:118~119)
