Quran 89:1~14

By the dawn, and the ten nights (of the month of Dhul-Hijja),and the even and the odd (Day of Arafah & Day of Sacrifice),and the night when it passes !Is all this ˹not˺ a sufficient oath for those who have sense?Did you not see how your Lord dealt with ’Ȃd— ˹the people˺ of Iram—with ˹their˺ great stature, unmatched in any other land;and Thamûd who carved ˹their homes into˺ the rocks in the ˹Stone˺ Valley;and the Pharaoh of mighty structures?They all transgressed throughout the land, spreading much corruption there.So your Lord unleashed on them a scourge of punishment.˹For˺ your Lord is truly vigilant.Quran 89:1~14Surah al-Fajr (Daybreak)

89th Chapter of the Quran}

وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
وَلَیَالٍ عَشۡرࣲ
وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ
وَٱلَّیۡلِ إِذَا یَسۡرِ
هَلۡ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ قَسَمࣱ لِّذِی حِجۡرٍ
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَیۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ
ٱلَّتِی لَمۡ یُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ
وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِینَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ
وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِی ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
ٱلَّذِینَ طَغَوۡا۟ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ
فَأَكۡثَرُوا۟ فِیهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ
فَصَبَّ عَلَیۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ

^{The surah describes destruction of disbelieving peoples: the Ancient Egyptians, the people of Iram of the Pillars, and Mada’in Saleh. It condemns those who love wealth and look with disdain upon the poor and orphans. Righteous people are promised Paradise}

شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
فجر کی قسم اور دس راتوں کی
اور جفت اور طاق کی
اور رات کی جب جانے لگے

اور بے شک یہ چیزیں عقلمندوں کے نزدیک
قسم کھانے کے لائق ہیں کہ
(کافروں کو ضرور عذاب ہو گا)

کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے عاد کے ساتھ کیا کیا
(جو) ارم (کہلاتے تھے اتنے) دراز قد
کہ تمام ملک میں ایسے پیدا نہیں ہوئے تھے

اور ثمود کے ساتھ (کیا کیا) جو وادئِ (قریٰ)
میں پتھر تراشتے تھے (اور گھر بناتے) تھے

اور فرعون کے ساتھ (کیا کیا)
جو خیمے اور میخیں رکھتا تھا

یہ لوگ ملکوں میں سرکش ہو رہے تھے
اور ان میں بہت سی خرابیاں کرتے تھے

تو تمہارے پروردگار نے
ان پر عذاب کا کوڑا نازل کیا

بے شک تمہارا پروردگار تاک میں ہے
