Quran 15:5~9

No people can advance their doom, nor can they delay it.They say, “O you to whom the Reminder is revealed! You must be insane!Why do you not bring us the angels, if what you say is true?”We do not send the angels down except for a just cause, and then ˹the end of˺ the disbelievers will not be delayed.It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it. Quran 15:5~9

It is named ‘Hijr’ after the valley located between Madinah and Sham [Greater Syria], where the people of Salih, Thamud lived.
There are 99 Ayat in this Surah.

مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا یَسۡتَءۡخِرُونَ

وَقَالُوا۟ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِی نُزِّلَ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونࣱ

لَّوۡ مَا تَأۡتِینَا بِٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِینَ

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوۤا۟ إِذࣰا مُّنظَرِینَ

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٰفِظُونَ

The main theme of the Surah is divine guidance, and people’s response. Allah’s warns those who deny this message and as a reminder of these warnings, we have here the stories of Prophet Lot’s people, Thamud and other groups.

کوئی قوم نہ اپنے وقت مقرر سے
پہلے ہلاک ہوسکتی ہے،
نہ اُس کے بعد چھوٹ سکتی ہے

یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں "اے وہ شخص جس پر ذکر نازل ہوا ہے، تو یقیناً دیوانہ ہے

اگر تو سچا ہے تو ہمارے سامنے فرشتوں کو لے کیوں نہیں آتا؟"

ہم فرشتوں کو یوں ہی نہیں اتار دیا کرتے وہ جب اترتے ہیں تو حق کے ساتھ اترتے ہیں، اور پھر لوگوں کو مہلت نہیں دی جاتی

رہا یہ ذکر، تو اِس کو ہم نے نازل کیا ہے اور ہم خود اِس کے نگہبان ہیں

Qur’an is the Books of Allah. He revealed it and He will guard it.
Allah knows everything in the universe. He is the Creator of all.
The creation of human being is from a very humble stuff, but Allah honored him and asked angels to bow down to Adam. Satan’s response.
