Quran 28:57~59

They say ˹to the Prophet˺, “If we were to follow ˹true˺ guidance with you, we would certainly be snatched away from our land.” Have We not established for them a safe haven ˹in Mecca˺ to which fruits of all kinds are brought as a provision from Us? But most of them do not know ˹this favour˺.˹Imagine˺ how many societies We have destroyed that had been spoiled by their ˹comfortable˺ living! Those are their residences, never inhabited after them except passingly. And We ˹alone˺ were the Successor.Your Lord would never destroy a society until He had sent to its capital a messenger, reciting Our revelations to them. Nor would We ever destroy a society unless its people persisted in wrongdoing.Quran 28:57~59

^{Surah al-Qasas [The Story] takes it name from being mentioned in [28:25],
‘Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness.
She said, “Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us.”
So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said,
“Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people.”
This Surah has 88 Ayat.}

وَقَالُوۤا۟ إِن نَّتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ مَعَكَ نُتَخَطَّفۡ مِنۡ أَرۡضِنَاۤۚ
أَوَ لَمۡ نُمَكِّن لَّهُمۡ حَرَمًا ءَامِنࣰا یُجۡبَىٰۤ إِلَیۡهِ ثَمَرَ ٰتُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ رِّزۡقࣰا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡیَةِۭ بَطِرَتۡ مَعِیشَتَهَاۖ فَتِلۡكَ مَسَـٰكِنُهُمۡ لَمۡ تُسۡكَن مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰاۖ وَكُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَ ٰرِثِینَ

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
حَتَّىٰ یَبۡعَثَ فِیۤ أُمِّهَا رَسُولࣰا یَتۡلُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَاۚ وَمَا كُنَّا مُهۡلِكِی ٱلۡقُرَىٰۤ إِلَّا وَأَهۡلُهَا ظَـٰلِمُونَ

^{The basic theme of this Surah is the prophethood. Some aspects of the life of Prophet Moses -peace be upon him- are mentioned to show the similarity between him and Prophet Muhammad – peace be upon all the prophets of Allah. There are also answers here to the questions and doubts that were raised by some non-believers.}

اور کہتے ہیں کہ اگر ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہدایت کی پیروی کریں تو اپنے ملک سے اُچک لئے جائیں۔ کیا ہم نے اُن کو حرم میں جو امن کا مقام ہے جگہ نہیں دی۔ جہاں ہر قسم کے میوے پہنچائے جاتے ہیں (اور یہ) رزق ہماری طرف سے ہے لیکن ان میں سے اکثر نہیں جانتے

اور ہم نے بہت سی بستیوں کو ہلاک کر ڈالا جو اپنی (فراخی) معیشت میں اترا رہے تھے۔ سو یہ اُن کے مکانات ہیں جو اُن کے بعد آباد ہی نہیں ہوئے مگر بہت کم۔ اور اُن کے پیچھے ہم ہی اُن کے وارث ہوئے

اور تمہارا پروردگار بستیوں کو ہلاک نہیں کیا کرتا۔ جب تک اُن کے بڑے شہر میں پیغمبر نہ بھیج لے جو اُن کو ہماری آیتیں پڑھ پڑھ کر سنائے اور ہم بستیوں کو ہلاک نہیں کیا کرتے مگر اس حالت میں کہ وہاں کے باشندے ظالم ہوں
