Yā Sīn (also Yaseen; Arabic: يٰسٓ, yāsīn; the letters ‘Yāʼ’ and ‘Sīn’) is the 36th chapter of the Quran (sūrah). It has 83 verses (āyāt).

وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًۭا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ 
قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌۭ ‎
‏قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ ۖ 
وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ ‎

The surah focuses on establishing the Qur’an as a divine source, and it warns of the fate of those who mock God’s revelations and are stubborn. The surah tells of the punishments that plagued past generations of nonbelievers as a warning to present and future generations. Additionally, the surah reiterates God’s sovereignty as exemplified by His creations through signs from nature.
اور ہمارے بارے میں مثالیں بیان کرنے لگا اور اپنی پیدائش کو بھول گیا۔ 
کہنے لگا کہ (جب) ہڈیاں بوسیدہ ہوجائیں گی تو ان کو کون زندہ کرے گا؟ 
کہہ دو کہ ان کو وہ زندہ کرے گا جس نے ان کو پہلی بار پیدا کیا تھا۔ اور وہ سب قسم کا پیدا کرنا جانتا ہے
The Surah explains some of the basic beliefs of Islam, especially the belief in life after death and the Akhirah.
